US drops, yes DROPS, demand for Israeli settlement freeze

More of that "change, you can believe in"?!
No surprise here, really.
US drops demand for Israeli settlement freeze
US credibility in the Arab world has suffered a serious setback after Hillary Clinton dropped demands for a halt to Jewish settlement expansion in the West Bank.

Myself, I am surprised the US has any credibility to lose. Especially on this issue.

Hillary Clinton said: "What the prime minister (Netanyahu) has offered in specifics on restraints on a policy of settlements... is unprecedented in the context of prior to negotiations."

Is she kidding?

And, just to show the Palestinians just how little she cares for their plight of continuing occupation/ oppression, complete with human rights abuses/war crimes, at the hands of the Israeli government, the IDF and the religious extremist settlers, Clinton also made this call-

Risking the ire of the Arab world, she also joined Israeli calls for an immediate Palestinian return to the negotiating table without preconditions.
Talking about a great big snub. I was going to use a swear word, but I thought quoting Hillary was enough foul language for the day.

  2. Is anyone surprised? A big shock would be if Israel actually held to any agreement they made, with anyone.

But they won't - because they are the Chosen, and above the law.
