Russia Surprised by US and EU stance on resolution

Russia is concerned over the stance of the United States and the European Union on a UN resolution condemning the glorification of Nazism and the desecration of WWII monuments, the Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.

The UN General Assembly adopted on December 18, 2009 a draft resolution proposed by Russia on combating racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.

The resolution is aimed at condemning attempts to heroize the Nazi movement and former Waffen SS members and desecrate monuments to the fighters against Nazism.

"It is highly bewildering and regrettable that the United States voted against the resolution, supported by an overwhelming majority of UN member states, and a number of states, including all European Union members, abstained in the vote on the draft," the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said it was surprised by the position of the former Soviet republics of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova which abstained from the vote, even though their peoples fought against Nazis during World War Two.

On Saturday, the Georgian authorities demolished a memorial to WWII heroes in the country's second largest city, Kutaisi. The blast, which was used to demolish the monument, killed two people.

(Demolishing monuments etc., is
sometimes a justification for invasion, think Afghanistan)

If there is an agenda is to erase history and create a new "western friendly" version.

  1. Hmm... I'm thinking there's more to this than meets the eye. The first thing that occurs to me here (the US and the EU acting together in spite of the unlikelihood of this) is that Israel or the Bankers have clicked their fingers. I'm thinking that this was either a trap the Russians laid for them that they saw through or it was entirely well-meaning but with repercussions seen only by the bankers. Actually the latter presupposes that the Russians are stupid and I don't think they are. Anyway, there's a game at play in amongst all this.

Mind you, all I know is what I read here. Let me read some more and I might think differently.

    ciao ciao

  2. of course there is more to this, there always is..
I think Russia was attempting to out the US. And they did.

The US is always cheering ww2, and their "pivotal" role in this win. Then of course championing Israel's "cause" endlessly.

Why would they not support this resolution?

I am thinking of the destruction of such war memorials, though they are history, as a means of erasing the history of the region.
(like how israel erases Palestinian history)

Think of this as extensions of the colour revolutions...

I am reading a piece that Peter had pointed me to by Andrew Gavin Marshall, I quite like his stuff, and because of christmas I had missed it, so I was glad he had posted it at his place.

I printed it up and have been reading it, and this is how I am seeing it as an extension of the colour revolutions...

which btw he has an interesting piece up about some institutionalized mossad agents...

  3. The NAZI's never really lost the war. The NAZI's got their world government and the policies behind Agenda 21 are largely NAZI in nature. Only the people lost the war, by giving governments more taxes, allowing them to expand what were largely NAZI policies to begin with.

The NAZI's took over the USA after the war, this is evident from the Administrative Law act, environmentalism, the creation of Codex Alimentarius, the ongoing wars, creation of the 3rd Reich (The UN), the (originally English) Eugenics policies, etc.

The NAZI idiology comes out of what Neitzche calls the "Modern Crisis". The modern crisis is that God is dead. The NAZI movement is that "super men" takes his place.

It must emerge into visiblity to be universally accepted. NAZI idiology was born in the English Royal Institute of International Affairs and other English think tanks. Hitler was just a puppet and Germany a small player in the NAZI movement.

The world is a NAZI place, its not surprising to see it emerge into visibility at all.

The Russians have been a traditionally free people under the Romanov crown. They worked with the revolutionaries in the American Civil war and against the British [The Creature From Jekyll Island]. The "Iron Curtain" and Stalin are new aspects of Russian History. The Romanovs were very benevolent and loved the Russian people- which is why they had to be destroyed by the Marxists.

Russians are increasing their populations while other countries are killing their populations off. There are a lot of conflicting opinions on where Russian stands in all this.
