"How we failed to get Bin Laden" And why it matters?

Here is the latest on the war on terror mascot- Osama Bin Laden.
"Tora Bora Revisited: How We Failed To Get Bin Laden And Why It Matters Today"

Here's why it matters, today...
Spin, propaganda, manipulation of the masses- pure and simple.

Why would a report on an incident 8 years ago be released JUST prior to an expected announcement of US troop increases for Afghanistan?

Bringing out the mascot, have him on display and justify the surge in Afghanistan, which is going to lead inevitably in Pakistan.

Read the report, Page 19 in particular:

The impact of this threat is greatest in Pakistan, where
Al Qaeda’s continued presence and resources have emboldened domestic
extremists waging an increasingly bloody insurrection that
threatens the stability of the government and the region. Its training
camps also have spawned new attacks outside the region—militants
trained in Pakistan were tied to the July 2005 transit system
bombings in London and several aborted plots elsewhere in Europe.
(is the July 05 a wrong reference to the 7/7 bombings??)
Closer to home, the Federal Bureau of Investigation says two recent
suspected plots disrupted by U.S. authorities involved longtime
residents of the United States who had traveled to Pakistan
and trained at bases affiliated with Al Qaeda. One of the plots involved
two Chicago men accused in late October of planning to attack
the Danish newspaper that published cartoons of the Prophet
Mohammad. In the other, an Afghan-born man who drove a shuttle
bus in Denver was arrested on suspicion of plans to detonate improvised
explosives in the United States. Court papers said the
man had been trained in weapons and explosives in Pakistan and
had made nine pages of handwritten notes on how to make and
handle bombs.

See, Pakistan, Pakistan, Pakistan.
With increased troops and weapons in Afghanistan, Pakistan is in sight.
And that is why Osama Bin Laden and the non-capture of him at Tora Bora matters.
Because the mascot for the war on terror, can be used to rouse support.

OH and btw Osama Bin Laden, is most likely dead. You can't catch dead people.

The Chilcot Inquiry- What is the point?

I have been reading up on this inquiry. Honestly, I don't think anything at all will come of it.
Blair lied? Obvious.
The 'intelligence', was NOT. Anyone paying attention, would already know this.
The war was a grab for energy resources? And this.
The war benefitted Israel? That won't be mentioned.
There were no WMD's? Already known, and was known before the attack.
The only thing that I can see will come out of this inquiry.
The government of Gordon Brown will be finished, and a Conservative government is guaranteed a win in the next election.

Critics are asking what exactly can be achieved by Sir John Chilcot's inquiry into the Iraq war.

There is an absolutely brilliant response from a reader there. One, who get's it.
I'm including some excerpts..... including his/hers forecast for the outcome.

This Inquiry is no more than a puppet show. It is a powerless panel set up to mollify the British people over the critical matter of how Britain became involved in the Overthrow of Iraq.
It is utterly useless because it is denied any legal powers. Had it such powers it would be able to do a truly thorough and genuine investigation into what went on in the halls of power behind closed doors and determine what decisions were made, when, and by whom and whether or not these were legitimate decisions based upon sound facts and therefore appropriate, reliable and warranted the actions which were taken. Was there any evidence that there was very serious consideration and assessment of what the formidable consequences and impact would be in real terms on Britain’s economy and the lives of the British people. Only then should consideration, if any have been given to the entire idea.

Sir John Chilcott has stated that this war was “Legal”
(He supported the invasion, is he really going to indict himself ? He already served on the Butler review, and what came of that? This, was the conclusion: "key intelligence used to justify the war with Iraq has been shown to be unreliable" Wow!)

I have the strongest doubts about the veracity of this statement as I cannot conceive of it being legal for any nation to contrive an imagined potential immediate threat posed by another nation without any credible proof that this is in fact the truth and then execute a presumptive strike on it on a false pretext. The US had NO intelligence information on Iraq at the time and had not attempted to gather any over the proceeding 10 years. More to the point, there was no evidence that such weapons were in existence even as the US was beating the drums of war and inspectors were on the ground in Iraq finding nothing. World opinion, international Organizations and world forums were totally opposed to an American invasion of Iraq. SO! The process by which Tony Blair’s government sent Britain to war may well reveal actions on the part of many in high office which were inappropriate, unlawful and politically self serving resulting in factually unsupported decisions and questionable votes in favor of it. Votes not in keeping with the known facts.

The Forecast
This contrived inquiry will end with meaningless opinions, declarations stating that "Mistakes" were made, vagaries as to who might have in part been responsible and useless recommendations and conclusions as to how to put the Humpty Dumpty together again.
There will be NO accountability and therefore there will be no changes in the way things are done in the halls of power and the future of the nation and its citizens will remain in the hands of people unqualified to assess the nation’s vulnerabilities and needs and those of the British people. Leaders responsible enough not to sell Britain’s integrity, its people’s safety and future to appease any country. This Inquiry is Britain’s Watergate Hearings. Which in the end yielded tens of volumes of Governmental Mythology and allowed Nixon and his rogue administration to walk away with Pardons and no accountability for brazen attempts to destroy democracy and undermine all that they were sworn to protect. American failure to establish accountability then , ultimately yielded a corrupt power structure and made it possible for the George Bush administration to do all the damage they did and leave behind the colossal mess we are now in.

Readying for a Surge in Afghanistan

It's a good thing Obama won the Nobel PEACE prize.
Yeah, it sure is. Change you can believe in.

More troops and support is required. So Obama is looking to NATO for help.....

U.S. Enlists Allies in New Surge- Americans Seek Up to 7,000 Extra NATO Troops for Ramp-Up in Afghanistan

The Obama administration is in advanced talks with its North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies for a coordinated rollout of a new Afghan war strategy, which U.S. officials hope will include a commitment by European allies to send several thousand additional troops. U.S. and European estimates of the new troops they may get from NATO allies vary from 3,000 to 7,000.

.........And, Obama is expected to send more American troops and massive amounts of equipment needed for the surge.

CentCom planners study massive move of equipment to Afghanistan

[CentCom] planners are in the midst of the military's biggest logistical challenge since the Vietnam War. How do you marshal billions of dollars in equipment to escalate one war in Afghanistan while scaling back another in Iraq?
"This is probably the most complicated logistical operation we've done in our lifetime," said Army Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dowd, director of logistics for CentCom, which is based at Tampa's MacDill Air Force Base. In a wide-ranging interview with the St. Petersburg Times this week, Dowd said landlocked Afghanistan presents greater difficulties than Iraq with its fewer routes of supply.
CentCom is now conducting an assessment of air strips in Afghanistan, and Dowd said engineers will have to expand them in order to resupply larger numbers of troops by air. "I'm a little concerned about" airfield capacity, Dowd said. "We've got to expand and make it better."

Obama is expected to announce next week an escalation of the U.S. effort in Afghanistan that will send as many as 30,000 additional troops

RCMP/ Military Police watchdogs won't be reappointed

Surprised?!
This news is the follow-up to two previous posts.

First- RCMP has solved the mystery of the Mint's missing Gold (it was there all along)
The federal government will not be reappointing (RCMP Watchdog) Paul Kennedy as the chair of the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP.
Kennedy, whose last day on the job will be Dec. 31, reportedly would have accepted another term. He was interested in seeing through anticipated new legislation to bring in a civilian oversight agency for the RCMP.
Kennedy recently completed an investigation into the death of Robert Dziekanski at the Vancouver International Airport and has investigated in-custody deaths, Taser use and how Mounties investigate themselves

How Mounties investigate themselves? They don't.
What that sentence should have said, How Mounties cover-up for themselves.
As they did in the case of Robert Dziekanski.

Besides canning the RCMP watchdog, military police complaints commissioner Peter Tinsley, also gone.

Tinsley, whose term also expires next month and will not be renewed, also wanted to stay on because of his ongoing inquiry into the treatment of Afghan detainees.
His ongoing inquiry? The ruling government doesn't want that to continue.
There in the spin, denial, and kill the messenger mode.
But, as in my previous post how can they deny? Seriously?
They have been aware for years of this problem.

Book-Swine Flu as a Millenium Fake:Chronicle of a Planned Disease

Swine Flu as a Millenium Fake, interesting title. An Australian virologist has his say in this new book.

According to Australian virologist Adrian Gibbs, the H1N1/A-Virus could be the product of a vaccine-plant or a lab. Gibbs, who considered this to be a possible explanation of the New Influenza, now published his findings in Virology Journal. By this he renewed “discussion about the origins of the pandemic virus”

“the new pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus, which was discovered in Mexico and the U.S. in April [2009], may be the product of 3 strains from 3 continents that swapped genes in a lab or a vaccine-manufacturing plant”.

The spread of Swine Flu (New Influenza) has ignited a unique, global process: Never before have been vaccines marketed so fast and with so few long-term clinical data on possible risks and side effects. Only a few months after virologists identified the virus H1N1 / A, the Geneva-based World Health Organization (WHO) declared the pandemic status of the disease. This decision seems more than unusual for two reasons.

1-Firstly, the emergence of novel strains of a virus is not new.

2-On the other hand the burgeoning swine flu in Mexico proved to be a relatively harmless version of a new influenza virus.

However, the activism of the WHO had far-reaching consequences. Almost instantly precisely those antiviral agents moved into the focus of public health authorities, which had proved to be increasingly ineffective against conventional flu viruses before Swine flu started. The WHO helped - intentionally or not- pharmaceutical manufacturers to an unexpected comeback of their antiviral old guard.

The book named “Swine Flu as a Millenium Fake” is written in German but contains important pages also in English.

There is one review of this book available at Amazon. I put the review through google translate and this is what we get

As I read it, the reviewer seems to be implying that the actions taken by the WHO seemed to directly benefit pharmaceutical giants. (Hmm, I wrote about that yesterday) Particularly with the sales of anti-virals. And the reviewer notes this would be exciting if it was something new, but, it is not.

Canada's denial of torture knowledge- Preposterous

New allegations of torture in Afghanistan
check the date of this reporting- Macleans.ca staff | Jun 7, 2007

That my friends is 2-1/2 years ago, and notice, this is not the first reporting of allegations of torture.

Two more prisoners claim abuse following transfer to Afghan authorities
Similar allegations in April led the Conservative government to sign a revised transfer agreement with Afghanistan – one that gives Canadian and human rights officials “full, unrestricted, and private” access to prisons to monitor the treatment of detainees transferred into Afghan custody by Canadian troops, which is how these latest allegations surfaced.

They came to light during an appearance by several ministers in front of a Commons’ committee on Wednesday, where they answered questions about the recent detainee controversy.

Foreign Affairs Minister Peter MacKay stressed that the allegations of torture are linked to Afghan authorities, not Canadian soldiers.

Peter MacKay, the apologist even back then..... Well, were just handing them over to be tortured, it's not that bad?

Canada should "reconsider the issue of whether or not we should be transferring detainees to the Afghan forces if these kind of allegations continue to surface." But they were unable to press Defense Minister Gordon O’Connor into confirming the number of detainees captured by Canadian forces thus far.
Which is interesting, because as the article went on 2 -1/2 yrs ago

A list was mentioned-

A list produced by the United States which includes the names, birth dates and home countries of hundreds of prisoners, mostly from Afghanistan. They demanded (Liberals) to know why the Pentagon has not been equally hesitant to release information.

But, the Defense Minister of Canada was unable to confirm the number of detainees handed over?
Doubtful.

I also note war monger Rick Hillier is on the job, there will be no truth from him.

"

On a side note, this must seem like déjà vu all over again to Scott Gilbert, a former Editor of thecannon who has been furiously sending out emails to the University of Guelph administration and media since last week.

Last January, Gilbert was at the centre of a controversy for language he used in an opinion piece criticizing the university's decision to honour General Hillier with its Lincoln Alexander Outstanding Leader Award.

In addition to calling Hillier a war criminal, Gilbert wrote that having U of G honour Canada's top solider was akin to "giving an award to Paul Bernardo for his exceptional work with youth." The piece was later edited to remove the most inflammatory remarks, but the original version lives on in discussion boards and blogs.

Now, Gilbert is claiming a certain vindication. One email, titled "UoG honours war criminal – epilogue" contained links to recent articles about Colvin's allegations. In another, he demanded to know whether the university would rescind Hillier's award if he's found to be "complicit in the torture of civilians."

"Grab a copy of the Toronto Star today to see the words 'War Crimes' in huge letters. Was my use of the term months ago so unjustified and purely opinion?" he asked"

Ukraine: IMF loans &TB or Swine Flu ? An e-mail to F William Engdhal

Recall November 18th/09, I put this post up. Ukraine Pandemic: TB and IMF Loans connected.
A post linking F William Engdhals excellent article and a Cambridge study linking IMF loans and exploding Tuberculosis.
I took the time to send an e-mail to F William Engdhal, telling him that this study shores up the theory put forward in his article.
Here is the e-mail(typos and all)
Nov 18 (8 days ago)

Hello Mr. Engdahl:

I just wanted to draw your attention to something I came across. It relates to the very interesting article you wrote and I posted some of it on my blog.
But then I followed it up with a most interesting story that ties nicely into what you wrote.
This is the link to my blog

http://pennyforyourthoughts2.blogspot.com/2009/11/ukraine-pandemictb-and-imf-loans.html

Within that post there are a number of links but the one that I thought might interest you is the link between a rise in tuberculosis linked to dependance on IMF loans.

Given the Ukraines financial situation, they may not want that kind of information to get out.
It may negatively impact their loan from the IMF, It will cast the IMF in a negative light.

BTW: I thought your article on the Ukraine situatiion was the best I had read yet!
Thanks for it.
I often listen to you and read your articles on Global Research
Thanks for your Time
Sincerely
Penny

As of yesterday at Global Research this article was published
While everyone is calling it “Swine Flu” and the WHO using it to spread their panic and untested vaccines, there is strong evidence that the deaths—almost all from pulmonary conditions—are from a rising incidence of Tuberculosis (TB). Now a Cambridge University study shows that there is a close correlation between rise in TB and the severe austerity measures that go with IMF loans. Are the Ukraine ‘Black Death’ cases the result of Ukraine’s IMF loans?

While attention is turned to the non-proven H1N1 as cause of a recent wave of illnesses and even some deaths across Ukraine, few if any have bothered to look at the public health consequences of Ukraine’s program with the International Monetary Fund. When the global financial crisis erupted into a systemic crisis in September 2008, one of the countries most devastated was Ukraine, where foreign lending had created an untenable speculative bubble that burst with a vengeance leaving the Ukraine currency falling like a stone and bankruptcies everywhere in one of Europe’s poorest countries.

In November 2008 Ukraine applied to the IMF in Washington for an emergency $16.4 billion loan.
Read it all at the above link!

I know not long after that e-mail was sent, I did have some hits from Germany, where I believe Mr. Engdhal resides.
I am happy he followed up on this topic, and since he is read by a much wider audience then myself, I am very pleased that this information will spread farther and wider then just the readers at my blog.
The more widespread this type of information is, the better informed we all are!
Good Job!

Two jailed for bashing drug dealer who cut speed with SNOT !

Eeew! You had to read that twice didn't ya?

This is one of those 'what the hell' stories, that begs to be shared.

From the land down under......

TWO men bashed a drug dealer and ran him over because he had added his own mucus to amphetamine deals, making his customers ill, an Adelaide court has heard.

In sentencing, Justice Michael David said Bateman had planned the attack after learning the victim had "tampered" with the methamphetamine he was selling by "placing mucus from his nose" in the drug.

Boogers, he put his boogers in the drugs!

The pair concocted the plan to bash the dealer to "tell him to stop doing what he was doing with the drug".

Many in the House spoke with the voice of the Lobbyists

In the US debate of overhauling the health care system. If one cares to describe it that way?
It should be mentioned that many of the lawmakers spoke in similar manners.
Almost as if echoing, one another?
Or were they parroting a line delivered to them by an outside source?
If you picked the "parroting a line" you were correct!

Lawmakers spoke in the same voice as the lobbyists working for Genentech!
One of the world's largest biotechnology companies.

Genentech, a subsidiary of the Swiss drug giant Roche, estimates that 42 House members picked up some of its talking points — 22 Republicans and 20 Democrats, an unusual bipartisan coup for lobbyists.

E-mail messages obtained by The New York Times show that the lobbyists drafted one statement for Democrats and another for Republicans.

The lobbyists, employed by Genentech and by two Washington law firms, were remarkably successful in getting the statements printed in the Congressional Record under the names of different members of Congress.

Remarkably succesful? An unusual bipartasan coup?
As if this is some kind of mistake, or suprise? Something unexpected?
Not likely.

Swine Flu pandemic: the foundation for future vaccine profits

Is this the key to all the hysteria over Swine Flu?
The building of a more profitable vaccine industry for the pharmaceutical corporations?
That is the impression taken from this piece.

"Pharmaceutical companies, however, have had little incentive to invest in new technologies" Flu vaccine is relatively cheap and the market is capricious -- millions of doses often end up being discarded because of tepid demand. The long, expensive process of getting new vaccines approved creates another disincentive.

Oh dear, what to do, what to do?
Fortunately for big pharmaceutical companies, a novel pandemic comes along!
How timely.

Suddenly-the incentive is present, profitability is massive.
There are after all tax extracted dollars to be spent.

And, that long expensive process of getting new vaccines approved?
What long expensive process?
The use of adjuvants- to create more out of less, and I am not talking just vaccine, I am also talking profits.

Adjuvants- compounds that boost the immune response, allowing limited stock to be stretched into more doses.

More doses, more profits!

Luckily, with more taxpayer dollars, new vaccine manufacturing facilities are being built

Spurred by $487 million in federal funding, a sprawling new vaccine factory is opening in North Carolina Tuesday that will produce shots using dog cells instead of chicken eggs.

Over the next few years it is going to get tough, really tough for the big pharmaceuticals companies, so many patents for prescription drugs going generic, nothing new in the works...

Some $135 billion in prescription drug sales will lose patent protection in the next five years, and there's little in drug companies' pipelines to replace those sales. Vaccines are "less vulnerable to generic competition from weaker manufacturers". With the $780 billion global prescription drug market growing at a sluggish 5% a year, many analysts reckon that the vaccine industry, which is forecast to climb 13% annually through 2012, offers the most upside potential.

How to make more money? Vaccines!!! Just look how profitable the swine flu pandemic has been. READ: How Big Pharma Profits from Swine Flu

-GSK says analyst predictions for $1.7 billion of H1N1 vaccine sales in the fourth quarter are broadly accurate, and similar numbers are forecast for the first quarter 2010.
-Novartis says it expects $700 million in fourth-quarter sales alone of its H1N1 pandemic vaccine
- Sanofi-Aventis says it expects H1N1 sales in the fourth quarter to hit $500 million.

The Truth about the Anthrax Attacks

The Anthrax attacks.
Sure you remember them, and if you have been following along you know that the man blamed for the anthrax attacks Bruce Ivins, who fortunately committed 'suicide', wasn't the perpetrator of the attacks. While obviously not fortunate for him and his family, it was fortunate for others who really didn't want the truth to come out. His timely 'suicide' neatly closed the case.
I came across this and thought it was a must share piece.
The Truth About The Anthrax Attacks

- On September 16 and 17, 2008, the House and Senate Judiciary Committees respectively, conducted “Amerithrax oversight” hearings consisting of questioning FBI Director Robert Mueller. Despite widespread concern about the integrity of Amerithrax, the colloquy during these hearings was largely feeble. Congressman Nadler did manage to ask the $64,000 question. Salon.com journalist Glen Greenwald recounted this as follows:

“Nadler asked one of the most central questions in the anthrax case: he pointed out that the facilities that (unlike Ft. Detrick) actually have the equipment and personnel to prepare dry, silica-coated anthrax are the U.S. Army's Dugway Proving Ground and the Battelle Corporation, the private CIA contractor that conducts substantial research into highly complex strains of anthrax. Nadler asked how the FBI had eliminated those institutions as the culprits behind the attack. After invoking generalities to assure Nadler that the FBI had traced the anthrax back to Ivins' vial (which didn’t answer the question), Mueller's response was this: I don't know the answers to those questions as to how we eliminated Dugway and Battelle. I'll have to get back to you at some point.

Here is Mueller answer:

Seven months went by before the FBI responded. Its response read:

“Initially, the spores contained in the envelopes could only be identified as Bacillus Anthracis (Anthrax). They were then sent to an expert, who “strain typed” the spores as Ames. Once the strain type was identified, the FBI began to look at what facilities had access to the Ames strain. At the same time, science experts began to develop the ability to identify morphological variances contained in the mailed anthrax. Over the next six years, new scientific developments allowed experts from the FBI Laboratory and other nationally recognized scientific experts to advance microbial science. This advancement allowed the FBI to positively link specific morphs found in the mailed anthrax to morphs in a single flask at USAMRIID. Using records associated with the flask, the FBI was able to track the transfer of sub samples from the flask located at USAMRIID to two other facilities. Using various methods, the FBI investigated the two facilities that received samples from the parent flask and eliminated individuals from those facilities as suspects because, even if a laboratory facility had the equipment and personnel to make anthrax powder, this powder would not match the spores in the mailed envelopes if that lab had never received a transfer of anthrax from the parent flask.”

Did you catch the contradiction in the FBI response?
Or should I say, LIE.
It is a lengthy article, but, it is absolutely worth the read.

RCMP has solved the mystery of the Mint's missing Gold

You may or may not remember the gold that had gone missing from Canada's Mint?
$15.3 Million dollars worth of gold, unaccounted for.

"Junior Transport Minister Rob Merrifield, who's responsible for the mint, called in the RCMP on June 9 after he learned that an audit would not "rectify the problem" of the missing gold. That's about 10 weeks after the government first learned of the missing gold"

Maybe it is just me, and I could be mistaken - sure. But the RCMP is such a politicized agency, by politicized I mean, they do the work of the political bodies, the government.
I gotta question there use in this situation.
Recalling, it was the government that told the Mint to call in the RCMP

The mint has asked the RCMP to help account for the mystery metals after being told by the government to call in the Mounties.

However the RCMP, has got their man, or in this case they have resolved the issue of the missing gold.

Mint officials double-counted some gold bullion they sold, and also underestimated the shrinkage of the gold during processing."

Mystery solved.

3 Mile Island Leaks, again

LOCAL authorities have defended their decision to delay the disclosure of a radiation leak at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania that forced the removal of 150 workers at the weekend.

About 20 employees were contaminated by radiation
No contamination had been identified outside the reactor building where the leak occurred, and the safety of the local Londonderry community was not endangered.

BUT: Questions have been raised why officials from the local Emergency Management Agency were not notified about the radiation leak for five hours after an airborne radiological contamination alarm sounded at 4pm on Saturday, Pennsylvania time.

This report says the delay was six hours

York County Emergency Management Director Kay Carman said Exelon didn't tell her about the incident until about 10:45 p.m., six hours after the alarm was triggered.

That's about the same time the general public learned what happened from local media outlets.

Confidence inspiring? Not really.

As usual, it was harmless. Or so it is being claimed.

Give the gift of swine flu for Christmas!!

I am going to give swine flu to everyone on my list!
Oink, Oink, cough!

Global Warming e-mails cast doubt on the science behind the phenomena

I have my doubts these e-mails were hacked, I lean towards them being leaked as was initially being reported. Now the spin has begun.
A round up of articles from the leaked documents and e-mails.

Rorting data is hell, Nino
"What they reveal is perhaps the greatest scientific scandal of our time - a conspiracy by warmist scientists to fudge statistics, sack sceptical scientists, block the release of data to prevent checking, illegally destroy data, deceive reporters, censor sceptical papers, and hide errors in their work"

Hiding evidence of global cooling -Junk science exposed among climate-change believers "The content of these e-mails raises extremely serious questions that could end the academic careers of many prominent professors. Academics who have purposely hidden data, destroyed information and doctored their results have committed scientific fraud. Monsanto Pulls GM corn amid safety concerns

Monsanto Pulls GM Corn Amid Serious Food Safety Concerns Applicant's Dossiers Contained Wide-Ranging Fraudulent Research

"wide ranging and fraudulent research" I just like to point that out again.

For the first time, a GM multinational has pulled two GM corn varieties from the regulatory and assessment process at the eleventh hour (1), after planning for a future income of several billion dollars per year from global sales (2). Monsanto has abandoned its ambitious plans for a so-called "second generation GM crop" rather than accede to a request from European regulators for additional research and safety data (3).

Under conditions of great secrecy, Monsanto has informed EFSA that it no longer wishes to pursue its application for approval of GM maize LY038 and the stacked variety LY038 x MON810. Both of these varieties were designed to accelerate the growth rate of animals. Two letters were sent to EFSA from the Monsanto subsidiary company Renessen at the end of April this year confirming the withdrawal of its applications originally submitted in 2005 and 2006. The letters cite "decreased commercial value worldwide" and state that the high-lysene varieties "will no longer be a part of the Renessen business strategy in the near future."

on a related note:

France Finds Monsanto Guilty of Lying

Fight for your Right ! To hang your laundry on the line

Carin Froehlich pegs her laundry to three clotheslines strung between trees outside her 18th-century farmhouse, knowing that her actions annoy local officials who have asked her to stop.

Although there are no formal laws in this southeast Pennsylvania town against drying laundry outside, a town official called Froehlich to ask her to stop drying clothes in the sun. And she received two anonymous notes from neighbors saying they did not want to see her underwear flapping about. (?)

Kevin Firth, who owns a two-bedroom condominium in a Dublin, Pennsylvania housing association, said he was fined $100 by the association for putting up a clothesline in a common area.

There opponents? Besides the strangely uptight people?

Housing associations such as condominiums and townhouse communities that are home to an estimated 60 million Americans, or about 20 percent of the population. About half of those organizations have 'no hanging' rules, Lee said, and enforce them with fines.

WHO's pandemic definition change kickstarts the H1N1 fear show

H1N1- the facts on the ground never matched the hype, hysteria and fear mongering show put on by Public Health Officials and the main stream media. I asked myself what or who was benefitting from the swine flu theatrics

If this flu had been as deadly and dangerous as had been touted why would anyone feed the frenzy of a scared citizenry. That makes no sense, when you take a moment or two to really think about that scenario.

I'll lay it out quickly and simply had a real pandemic been at work, you would have seen it, you would have known it, without being told, it would have been obvious to you.
I am quite sure in the past, when pandemics swept through populations the people didn't need government and media hype to demonstrate there was a problem.

So in the situation of a real pandemic, fear mongering would have been the last thing any government would have encouraged. You ask, why?
The answer is obvious when you think about it.. the government could not contend with fearful panicked out of control citizens.

Panicked citizens do not follow rules, panicked citizens do not listen to the government, panicked citizens may break the law for survival.

So how would it serve Public Health Authorities and governing bodies, in the case of real pandemic to ramp up the fear?

It wouldn't.

However, if you wish to create the illusion of a pandemic, spread fear for political and pharmaceutical profit purposes, the hysteria surrounding H1N1 has been ideal.
Just create the right balance of fear and reassurance. Come up with fancy slogans like "this year it is a different flu season" but also reassure the populace that the vaccine is coming, and most cases are mild.

But, how to get all this started? I know, lets start the show with a bang by changing the very meaning of pandemic, as was done by the WHO, so that you can hype a pandemic out of just about any influenza situation. For visuals, see here

This is how WHO once defined pandemic:

"The WHO definition for "influenza pandemic" once required "several, simultaneous epidemics worldwide with enormous numbers of deaths and illness."

Now it requires "sustained chains of human-to-human transmission leading to community-wide outbreaks" in two parts of the world, with this addition: The cause must be an animal or human-animal flu virus; the latter is known as genetic reassortment.

What makes this interesting is this-
Under this new definition, "community-wide outbreaks" of swine flu in two South American countries and somewhere in China could qualify as a pandemic. No deaths required.

But a pure human flu that could maybe kill 20 million people, NOT a pandemic!
Not according to the new WHO definition anyway.

So begins the larding of H1N1 with fear.
And, as this fellow points out it just goes on from there.
(By the way, would someone give this man a medal for bravery. I am thinking he deserves it)

Months of dire swine flu warnings were a dangerous, disruptive cry of "wolf" for an ailment Canadian health officials knew would be a mild, manageable beast.

Canadian health officials KNEW.

In particular, H1N1's May and June run through Australia, which mirrors Canada in its health care capabilities, showed the virus was a temperate one.

"By their measures, things like physicians' visits and the like, this was no different than a usual flu year," says Schabas of the Australian experience. "In fact, it was milder."

Even before that Health Officials KNEW

But even after its terrifying Mexican debut in April, where it was blamed for hundreds of deaths, health officials knew that H1N1 had no apocalyptic potential.

"Within about a week of the first stories out of Mexico, it was becoming clear that the death toll (there) was in the order of hundreds, not tens of thousands," Schabas says.

As for it's effects on the young:

And the tragic death of 13-year-old Toronto hockey player Evan Frustaglio, which galvanized the nation's attention on the disease, did not warrant the ensuing panic.

While mortality rates among people 20 and younger in Canada will be slightly higher than in a normal flu season, the actual number of deaths among healthy youngsters will be in the range of just seven, Schabas says.

"The risk of a young person being killed by a car in Ontario ... is 100 or more times higher than the risk of being killed by H1N1."

As for the bally-hooed 3rd wave of the pandemic:

"They (health officials) sound like burnt-out surfers sitting on a beach, watching the waves go in and out and arguing the next one will be better."
But, still the show goes on, despite reports that swine flu is peaking. I guess, when you have invested so much money, time, hype, fear, advertising, slogan making, the show must go on.
My last question, I am still wondering if there was some other reason for the mass vaccinations.

NASA- To Radiate Monkeys for Project Prometheus and Mars

And after this exposure to radiation they can expect a lifetime of care at the lab.
Ah, isn't that nice?

"The beauty of this is that we can assess at different time points after exposure, so not only do we get a sense of rather immediate effects, but then we can look again at longer time points.

"That kind of information just hasn't been available."

After the radiation exposure, the monkeys can look forward to a lifetime of being looked after by staff and veterinarians at McLean Hospital"

This bunch of Physicians feels a bit different

Giant Leap Backward: Ask NASA to End Cruel Radiation Testing on Monkeys

PCRM has learned that NASA is funding space radiation studies that will use live monkeys as subjects. Please contact NASA Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr., and ask him to put a stop to these cruel experiments.

The studies conducted at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York will expose squirrel monkeys to repeated doses of radiation. Radiation experiments involving nonhuman primates commonly involve restraint and other cruel procedures. Monkeys, like other primates, are highly intelligent, have strong family bonds, demonstrate empathy, and, most importantly, suffer.

Genetic, physiological, and anatomical differences between humans and monkeys dramatically limit the conclusions that can be drawn from the planned studies. Ongoing studies, including those funded by NASA, already use nonanimal methods to determine the effects of low-dose radiation on human tissues.

All this is for Project Prometheus, nuclear powered ships in deep space.

Those that did watch the movie Arsenal Of Hypocrisy, are aware of the dangers of nuclear material in space. If you missed it, the first time around, it is relinked above.

Coca Cola to sponsor advice about soft drinks and health

Because, the consumption of soft drinks and good health go hand in hand, right?
Wrong, but apparently the American Academy of Physicians, thanks to their six figure alliance with Coke, thinks they do.
Joking? I wish I was. Read on.. Full story here

Advice about soft drinks and health from one of the US's largest doctors groups will soon be sponsored by Coke.

The American Academy of Family Physicians has prompted outcry and lost members over its new six-figure alliance with the Coca-Cola Co.

The deal will fund educational materials about soft drinks for the academy's consumer health and wellness website.

That website is FamilyDoctor.org
When you go to that website, and click on the banner at the top, the one that says Pround Partners of FamilyDoctor.org, you will see this

Partners include:

Coke Live Positively
"Our partnership [with AAFP and FamilyDoctor.org] will help provide Americans with credible information on beverages and enable consumers to make informed decisions about what they drink based on individual need.”
-- Dr. Rhona Applebaum
Vice President & Chief Scientific and Regulatory Officer
The Coca-Cola Company

Does anyone really think that "credible information" will be offered, for consumers to make informed choices?

This hearkens back to the good old days when the American Medical Association used to recommend smoking cigarettes, for good health of course!

Here is an old advertisement promoting cigarette smoking. Perhaps they can recycle this idea for the healthy promotion of Coca-Cola drinking?

H1N1 vaccine recalled after severe reactions

In Canada-
More than 100,000 doses of the H1N1 vaccine are being withdrawn across the country, after Manitoba health officials announced Thursday they'd noticed a higher-than-usual number of allergic reactions from the batch.
Vaccine manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline has asked several provinces to set aside 170,000 doses from the questionable batch.

GSK say the batch recall is a precaution an they will investigate to see whether there is something wrong with the batch.
Here is the problem:
One or two allergic reactions were expected in a batch that size. But health officials recorded six severe allergic reactions and alerted GSK. The six who developed anaphylaxis all recovered.
Anaphylaxis reactions are deadly serious.

So the number recalled is actually closer to 200,000 doses! Wondering why the low ball estimating in the opening paragraph when the number is quite a bit higher? How much of this "questionable batch" has already been administered?
Glaxo Smith Kline has asked "several provinces". Which provinces?
I only see three provinces mentioned in the article Alberta, Ontario and Manitoba. Are these the only provinces that received the questionable batch of vaccine?

The 6 severe reactions were all reported in Manitoba. Were these possible vaccine related deaths, both from Manitoba, related to the recalled vaccine?

Health officials investigate deaths of two people who were recently vaccinated

Health Officials in Manitoba aren't saying much about two people who died shortly after receiving the H1N1 vaccine other than they were adults and died within a week of being vaccinated.

One family is asking aloud if the vaccine was the problem - Family questions if H1N1 shot caused Manitoba woman's death

This woman died, and her daughter who is seven years old is also hospitalized after receiving the vaccination - read the complete story at above link.

This story about the questionable batch of H1N1 vaccine is a good segue to this video, a news report out of Poland on contaminated vaccine, lots of it... take a few minutes.
How did 72 kilos of vaccine, from Baxter, get contaminated?

Cluster Bomb Trade funded by World's Biggest BANKS

Banks love to fund warfare, so no surprise here.
Banks finance both sides of a war, because there is so much profit to be made on the indebtedness that war brings

The deadly trade in cluster bombs is funded by the world's biggest banks who have loaned or arranged finance worth $20bn (£12.5bn) to firms producing the controversial weapons, despite growing international efforts to ban them.

HSBC, led by ordained Anglican priest Stephen Green, has profited more than any other institution from companies that manufacture cluster bombs. The British bank, based at Canary Wharf, has earned a total of £657.3m in fees arranging bonds and share offerings for Textron, which makes cluster munitions described by the US company as "leaving a clean battlefield".

Campaigners maintain the deadly weapons can explode years after combat, killing or maiming innocent people. HSBC will face protests outside its London headquarters today. Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, JP Morgan and UK-based Barclays Bank are also named among the worst banks in a detailed 126-page report by Dutch and Belgian campaign groups IKV Pax Christi and Netwerk Vlaanderen.Goldman Sachs, the US bank which made £3.19bn proft in just three months, earned $588.82m for bank services and lent $250m to Alliant Techsystems and Textron.

Ukraine Pandemic:TB and IMF loans connected ?

Could the so called "pandemic" in the Ukraine be connected to their dependence on IMF funds?

If the label "pandemic" is a cover for a major tuberculosis outbreak, as is discussed in this piece, Ukraine, WHO and the Geopolitics of Swine Flu Panic, there may well be a connection.

The latest news out of the Ukraine has the country reforming their entire 2010 budget to get even more money from the IMF. This certainly means more hardship for the Ukranian people.

But how is it that the IMF and Tuberculosis are connected?

Read this- Rise in TB Is Linked to Loans From I.M.F. The rapid rise in tuberculosis cases in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union is strongly associated with the receipt of loans from the International Monetary Fund

Critics of the fund have suggested that its financial requirements lead governments to reduce spending on health care to qualify for loans. This, the authors say, helps explain the connection.

Here is a link to the study

And here is the conclusion of the study

Conclusions

"IMF economic reform programs are associated with significantly worsened tuberculosis incidence, prevalence, and mortality rates in post-communist Eastern European and former Soviet countries, independent of other political, socioeconomic, demographic, and health changes in these countries. Future research should attempt to examine how IMF programs may have related to other non-tuberculosis–related health outcomes."

As lead author David Stuckler, research associate at Cambridge University, says with regards to the results of the studies correlation between IMF loans and tuberculosis increase.

“When you have one correlation, you raise an eyebrow,” Mr. Stuckler said. “But when you have more than 20 correlations pointing in the same direction, you start building a strong case for causality.”

Ukraine, WHO and the Geopolitics of Swine Flu Panic

What the hell is going on in the Ukraine?
I have been following this story for a while, have attempted two posts on it, dumped them, then deleted all my bookmarked information.
Why such difficulty you ask? Because, the "flu" situation in the Ukraine, seems not only to be the swine flu, possibly something else?
Throw in IMF indebtedness, pending elections that the US/NATO puppet Victor Yushchenko, leader after the Orange Revolution, is most definitely going to lose. Unless their is some type of intervention by the west. Aah, geopolitics.....
Then I came across this, by William Engdahl, I like him, I find him to be very good.
I will post some excerpts and urge you to read the rest right here

Not swine flu, perhaps something else?

Exact information about what is really taking place in Ukraine is far from easy. The country is one of the most politically complex and economically distressed states in Europe. One plausible hypothesis emerges from the scientific researches of Dr Lawrence Broxmeyer MD of the New York Institute of Medical Research.

Broxmeyer’s research suggests that the WHO and CDC are covering up a worldwide epidemic of tuberculosis, and focusing attention on flu instead. Indeed recently the WHO changed its categories of causes of death to lump death from influenza in the same group as death from tuberculosis and other pulmonary disease. Given the present Swine Flu hysteria, any pulmonary death seems to be reported as "death from H1N1 influenza." In a passing note the report typically notes the patient also suffered from lung problems.

Broxmeyer states, "Both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are fully aware of a far more serious and ongoing tuberculosis Pandemic in the world today. Yet they choose to downplay the link, disregarding the similar flu-like symptoms tuberculosis often begins with. WHO freely admits that there were approximately 1.8 million deaths from tuberculosis in 2007, the most recent year for which data are available as well as that presently about one-third of the world's population, or two billion people, carry the TB bacteria."1

Broxmeyer is convinced there is a massive coverup of tuberculosis deaths using "flu" as the diversion: "Khomenko's 1993 study showed that the explosive contagiousness of just such influenza-like forms of tuberculosis are exactly the stuff that previous epidemics and pandemics could have been made of... But back in the US, the CDC and NIH seem to feel differently, ignoring everything but "the virus". There was much the same "Influenza" talk when in 1990, a new multi-drug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis outbreak took place in a large Miami municipal hospital. Soon thereafter, similar outbreaks in three New York City hospitals left many sufferers dying within weeks. By 1992, approximately two years later, drug-resistant tuberculosis had spread to deadly mini-epidemics in seventeen US states, and was reported, not by the American, but the international media, as out of control. Viral forms of swine, avian and human TB can be transmitted from one species to another."2

Reality check?

The WHO, the organization responsible for declaration of the H1N1 Pandemic last summer, allowing governments like the USA and Ukraine to declare martial law and a national state of emergency, suspending all rights and imposing arrests and detentions, has validated the dubious Ukraine claims of out-of-control spread of Swine Flu.

The samples have been sent to the WHO Mill Hill Influenza Reference Lab in London, not exactly inspiring confidence in a scientifically honest report given the record of UK health authorities in manipulating data to please the vaccine giants like GlaxoSmithKline. As of this writing, bizarre enough the WHO has yet to utter a single word of the test results at Mill Hill.

Nonetheless, WHO "strongly recommends early treatment with the antiviral drugs, oseltamivir or zanamivir, for patients who meet treatment criteria, even in the absence of a positive laboratory test confirming H1N1 infection." That means Tamiflu, the highly dangerous drug whose major shareholder includes former Pentagon head Don Rumsfeld. And it means GlaxoSmithKline, maker of the rival Relenza drug.

Ukrainian election geopolitics

The bizarre developments in Ukraine over the past two weeks are being blamed inside the country on intense Ukrainian election politics. In four months national elections in Ukraine are due. Among rival candidates are Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and her chief rival, Arseniy Yatseniuk.

Since Washington financed and organized the 2004 Orange Revolution that brought a pro-NATO Victor Yushchenko in as President, Ukraine politics has been a geopolitical tug-of war between Moscow and Washington. How the current political games around allegations of H1N1 panic play into that tug of war is not yet clear.

The best article I have seen yet.

Fintrac may violate anyone's banking privacy

Fintrac is back. In the news that is. If your wondering, what the heck is Fintrac?
I wondered that also in this earlier post.

Banking Probes may violate privacy

Privacy Commissioner Jennifer Stoddart is saying Fintrac may violate anyone's privacy, anyone at all. Based on little more then an individuals ethnic background.

“This is not an insignificant issue,” Ms. Stoddart said in her report. Canadian law requires banks, insurance firms and securities dealers, among others, to “scrutinize and report vast amounts of personal information.”

Without proper controls to screen information, the agency keeps information beyond its authority from over-zealous institutions “on the basis of unsubstantiated suspicion,” Ms. Stoddart said in the report.

An audit of Fintrac “found problems related to reports made on the basis of unsubstantiated suspicion,” Ms. Stoddart said in the report. “We recommend that Fintrac work with reporting entities to ensure the Centre does not acquire information that it has no legislative authority to receive and that it does not need or use.”

A question, is the real problem one of entirely too much personal information available, to just about anyone?
Making it all that much easier for Fintrac and other government agencies to be overzealous?

Omar Khadr - A Canadian Citizen tried in a US Kangaroo Court

I have a number of posts on this blog on Omar Khadr. ( click the Khadr label at the bottom for all of them)
I am of the opinion that Khadr shot no one.
He was found under the rubble of a bombed out structure, seriously wounded and the man, that in all likelihood, shot the medic was killed by US soldiers. A war crime on it's own.

I also think Canada has dragged it's feet and is an embarrassment on the international stage, with regards to getting Omar Khadr brought back to Canada

Khadr was arrested at 15 and has been held for 8 years without trial. He has been tortured, without a doubt, and Canada's government has been complicit in this shameful incident.

Khadr will face military trial, or a kangaroo court as this article says.
Omar Khadr heading for a kangaroo court

Protestors have been asking that he as a Canadian born person be returned to Canada, as every other country in the world has done for it's citizens.
Return Khadr to Canada

He is the only foreign national still being held at the Guantanamo Bay prison.
"Because he is a Canadian citizen and as other countries around the world have done, they brought these people home to their own countries to be tried under their systems," said Charlene Scharf, of Amnesty International.

Swine flu update and the Chemicals in our Body

First a quick update to yesterday's story.

David Butler Jones admission that this flu season will be no different then any other season. In fact it will be milder despite the novel pandemic and despite the fact that to date, 20 percent of the population has been vaccinated, 1 in 5.
It is being reported in parts of Canada that the peak has been reached, and the mass vaccination unnecessary.

Schabas said outbreaks of the swine flu in populous parts of the country, including southwestern Ontario and British Columbia, are on the wane.

The hype and hysteria around the H1N1 pandemic, the millions of dollars spent so far on responding to it, and the dire warnings about it are all unwarranted, according to Schabas — who even questions the pandemic label.

But, the government ordered 50 million doses of vaccines that have to keep on touting the vaccination as vital. Too much inventory has to moved, so "you need it".

Update out of the way, let's share this news on the-
Chemicals in Our Food, and Bodies

Yeah, we have them, and the swine flu vaccine just added more to yours if you got it, some thimerosol and some formaldehyde.

The chemical addressed here is BPA- which previously posted on was banned in Canada, yet, it appears in food products purchased in Canada, as it does in the US

More than 92 percent of Americans have BPA in their urine, and scientists have linked it — though not conclusively — to everything from breast cancer to obesity, from attention deficit disorder to genital abnormalities in boys and girls alike.
Now it turns out it’s in our food.

Consumer Reports magazine tested an array of brand-name canned foods for a report in its December issue and found BPA in almost all of them. The magazine says that relatively high levels turned up, for example, in Progresso vegetable soup, Campbell’s condensed chicken noodle soup, and Del Monte Blue Lake cut green beans.
The magazine also says it found BPA in the canned liquid version of Similac Advance infant formula (but not in the powdered version) and in canned Nestlé Juicy Juice (but not in the juice boxes). The BPA in the food probably came from an interior coating used in many cans.
Should we be alarmed?
The chemical industry doesn’t think so. (no surprise there) Steven Hentges of the American Chemistry Council dismissed the testing, noting that Americans absorb quantities of BPA at levels that government regulators have found to be safe. Mr. Hentges also pointed to a new study indicating that BPA exposure did not cause abnormalities in the reproductive health of rats.
But more than 200 other studies have shown links between low doses of BPA and adverse health effects, according to the Breast Cancer Fund, which is trying to ban the chemical from food and beverage containers.
“The vast majority of independent scientists — those not working for industry — are concerned about early-life low-dose exposures to BPA,” said Janet Gray, a Vassar College professor who is science adviser to the Breast Cancer Fund.
Published journal articles have found that BPA given to pregnant rats or mice can cause malformed genitals in their offspring, as well as reduced sperm count among males. For example, a European journal found that male mice exposed to BPA were less likely to make females pregnant, and the Journal of Occupational Health found that male rats administered BPA had less sperm production and lower testicular weight.
This year, the journal Environmental Health Perspectives found that pregnant mice exposed to BPA had babies with abnormalities in the cervix, uterus and vagina. Reproductive Toxicology found that even low-level exposure to BPA led to the mouse equivalent of early puberty for females. And an array of animal studies link prenatal BPA exposure to breast cancer and prostate cancer.
The Journal of the American Medical Association reported last year that humans with higher levels of BPA in their blood have “an increased prevalence of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and liver-enzyme abnormalities.” Another published study found that women with higher levels of BPA in their blood had more miscarriages.

Change in Tactic?- Less Swine Flu Hype from the top doc.

David-Butler Jones, has made a "360" from his talk just a few weeks back.
H1N1 no deadlier than regular flu: top doctor

"OTTAWA -- Despite the recent surge in H1N1 deaths, the nation's chief public health officer says the pandemic virus appears no deadlier than regular seasonal influenza and that there could actually be substantially fewer flu deaths than normal this season.""When you do take this disease seriously, you can actually dramatically reduce the number of people with severe illness and death," Dr. Butler-Jones said. "So the usual 2,000 to 8,000 range (of flu-related deaths) that we see with seasonal flu, we might actually be able to reduce that substantially."

Experts said the rates of serious illness and death are far from the levels predicted for a novel pandemic virus and that, based on the information available up until now, H1N1 is not on track to causing disease and death on the scope or scale of the flu pandemics of the 20th century.

Yet, today David Butler Jones says, this flu season will likely have substantially fewer deaths.
It can't have been the vaccine program, because the majority of Canadians have not been vaccinated against H1N1.

Despite the hardsell by Public Health Canada, the manipulative means of getting H1N1 diagnosis, the constant fear mongering by the media and the massive profits for vaccine makers, this flu season may actually be an extremely mild one.

But then what was the Difference between Seasonal and H1N1 flu ?

I couldn't see one, could you?

Update:
When you have wasted lots of tax payer dollars hyping a pandemic, to justify massive vaccinations, why not just throw the vaccinations out? What difference does it really make?

Some health authorities across the country have tossed out hundreds of doses of the swine flu vaccine because of miscalculations over how many of the time-sensitive dosages are needed at community clinics.

Israel in the News: Violent Haredi Protests and Annex the West Bank.

While were in the Middle East-

Violent Protests against Intel

A day after violent haredi protests rocked the offices of hi-tech giant Intel in the capital's Har Hotzvim industrial park, Mayor Nir Barkat and Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer on Sunday voiced unequivocal support for the company during an inauguration ceremony for its new International Die Prep-Jerusalem (IDPj) facility there

Meanwhile, The Jerusalem Post learned that the riots on Shabbat had been far worse than originally reported, and that in addition to the rocks and epithets hurled at journalists and other bystanders, haredim had broken into a synagogue on Intel's premises, thrown prayer books to the floor and used prayer stands to bash in the doors. (watch the video)

They apparently attacked a Palestinian journalist who came to cover the riots, but, the Israeli press didn't seem interested in reporting that one. Given the way Palestinians are abused by Israeli settlers, the IDF, the government..... no surprise there.
But this is not the first time these religious fanatics have attacked journalists, remember this one?
Reporter feels mob's hate in the Holy City

And one more:

Israel could annex more of the West Bank

An Israeli cabinet minister said on Monday Israel could annex more of the West Bank if Palestinians declared statehood without concluding a peace agreement.

"If the Palestinians take such a unilateral line, Israel should also consider ... passing a law to annex some of the settlements," Environment Minister Gilad Erdan, a close ally of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, told Israel Radio

Those settlements are illegal under international law, Israel has no right to them in the first place, never mind to annex them. Israel, remember the Palestinians have right of return.
Unless they decide otherwise and then there is the issue of compensation......
So much for Israel really wanting peace. Every action they take with regards to Palestine flies in the face of their claims.

Fallujah: The Hidden Massacre and the use of White Phosphorous

When I put up yesterday's post, I had wanted to touch on more.

This documentary, 27 minutes in length, gives the background needed to understand the birth defects being reported now, amongst the babies of Fallujah.

Fallujah The Hidden massacre - U.S. Use of white phosphorus bombs

Interviews with U.S. soldiers, Iraqi doctors and international journalists on the U.S. attack on Fallujah. Produced by Italian state broadcaster RAI TV, the documentary charges U.S. warplanes illegally dropped white phosphorus incendiary bombs on civilian populations, burning the skin off Iraqi victims. One U.S. soldier charges this amounts to the U.S. using chemical weapons against the Iraqi people.

I would like to point out one more thing. The story that hit mainstream yesterday had been reported on in '08 here.

But even earlier then that, Dahr Jaimail had covered this situation, from Iraq as it was ongoing

Just 27 minutes of your time to get informed.

Huge Rise in Birth Defects in Fallujah

Remember when the US "pacified" Fallujah? Nice litte doublespeak term for massive slaughter.

Get over here and watch the video, The Children of Fallujah . Read the story here.

Doctors in Iraq's war-ravaged enclave of Falluja are dealing with up to 15 times as many chronic deformities in infants and a spike in early life cancers that may be linked to toxic materials left over from the fighting.

The extraordinary rise in birth defects has crystallised over recent months as specialists working in Falluja's over-stretched health system have started compiling detailed clinical records of all babies born

Mass chemicals rained on the mass slaughter of the people in Fallujah.

The Pentagon and other U.S. officials at first denied, and later admitted, that troops had used white phosphorus as a weapon against "insurgents" in Falluja during that fiercely fought campaign. Its use became public because of questions raised by an Italian television documentary Nov. 8, which alleged that civilians had been targeted "indiscriminately" and that hundreds had died.
The reality?
They rained the white phosphorous down on the people of Fallujah and burned them alive and poisoned them in a horrific manner. The birth defects are surely the culmination of these war crimes. The crimes against humanity.

Falsifying History -Revising the H1N1 death toll

On B's suggestion I revised the title.

I just came across this one.....
If the numbers for H1n1 don't look scary enough, you just revise them!
I am not kidding. This is flasifying history, right before your very eyes.
Because these stats will be the "official" numbers though it can't really be known, since no one is checking.

Using new methodology, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has revised its estimate of the total number of deaths caused by swine flu. The new figures will result in a tripling of the number deaths from H1N1 overnight.

While the official estimates have not yet been released, it appears that the tally of deaths from the novel form of influenza will rise to around 4,000, up from 1,200, as was first reported Wednesday by The New York Times.

The changes reflect new surveillance methods thought to be more accurate but also show that figuring out the death toll from influenza is not a precise science.

"We don't really know how many cases of H1N1 there have been, truly," said Dr. Len Horovitz, a pulmonary specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.

Raising the numbers to justify the hype?? Why don't they lower them? The numbers could actually be lower, because they don't really know.

Kids over 3, no need for H1N1 seconds, despite lack of scientific evidence

The H1N1 vaccine reccomendation for children has changed.
It was initially being reported that children ages 3-9 would need 2 vaccinations against H1N1.
Now Public Health Canada is saying only one vaccination is necessary.
What has brought on this decision? How do they know that one vaccine is effective?
Read on, because this is interesting.

"The decision isn't based on the hardest of hard scientific evidence, but on some promising data and the reality that when vaccine supplies are still scarce, it probably makes sense to give more people one dose than to give children a second dose they may not need. It's a position advised by the World Health Organization"

Well, that is not a surprise, that the decision is not based on hard scientific evidence.

I don't know if anything about this entire scenario has been based on HARD scientific evidence.
From the changing of the defintion of pandemic to the lack of testing on the vaccines and now children over 3 do not need the second vaccination.

A number of questions come to my mind-
The decision to vaccinate young children twice, what was it based on? Was there really any "hard scientific evidence" behind that decision? Because, if there was hard scientific evidence behind the two shot policy, how could the evidence be dismissed?

As acknowledged this is no "hard scientific evidence" behind the move to a one vaccination policy. I would think if there had been any hard scientific date behind the initial decision, then the two shot policy would have remained in place, and yet it isn't.

There is talk of promising data? After just a couple of weeks?

"The limited data that exist suggest the vaccine Canada is using may even protect young children with a single dose because it contains an adjuvant, an additive that boosts the immune response. But the data are too limited for the experts advising Canada on H1N1 vaccine policy to feel confident that the youngest children would be protected by a single shot."

Despite the data being too limited for experts to feel confident that the youngest children will be protected, PHC is changing the policy. I can't help but wonder... Is the reality that the vaccine was ineffective anyway, so that one or two shots is irrelevant?

Political expediency is being acknowledged. A panic is created, there is alot of fear, and we are looking foolish. So were going to ration to score political points.

But, if the science was there to support the vaccinations in the first place, political expediency would be foolish. I scratch my head.
