Rabbi's and their Torah inspired wartime 'morals'

Now for something a little different.
Often via the main stream media we read or are told of Islams tendencies towards violence.
But, how about Judaism?
This news story is quite interesting, yet, will not gain widespread western media coverage.
Why? To put it simply, it isn't about Muslims.

Following Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira's controversial book laying out Torah wartime morals, book's supporters suspected of incitement refuse to cooperate with investigation. 'Torah not open to investigation,' they say.

I didn't get the impression anyone wanted to 'investigate' the Torah.
Nice job muddying the waters.
Rather this is about religious fanaticism and a call to murder by followers of Judaism.

So, let me quote from the article-

The two rabbis say that the book, "Torat Hamelech," sets out how to behave in times of war and explains wartime morals according to the holy Torah.
The book claims that it is permissible to kill someone who wants to kill you, and that it is permissible to harm someone who shields an enemy in order to preserve the lives of our citizens and soldiers.

They assert that the Torah's moral codes must guide the entire IDF and any judicial system which aims to operate according to the truth. (fanatical holy war)

But, the assertation of who to commit violence and murder against, go further then just warfare-

Shapira, from the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar, wrote in his book, "When we encounter a gentile who has violated the Seven Laws of Noah and kill him out of concern for upholding the seven mitzvoth, no prohibition has been violated."

I am wondering, would this gentile even know what the hell this is about?
Speaking as a gentile, I don't have a clue. Comforting to know someone like me could be killed for this violation of some nonsensical religious law.

Wait there is more!

"Anywhere where the presence of a gentile poses a threat to Israel, it is permissible to kill him, even if it is a righteous gentile who is not responsible for the threatening situation."

Wow! Anywhere, just the presence of a gentile (racist labelling, btw) that a follower of Judaism thinks is posing a threat, real or imaginary, KILL'EM! Even if they haven't done anything!

Can we say "RELIGIOUS EXTREMISTS"?

  1. This will never, ever be discussed in mainstream North American press.

    Never.

At least, and kudos to them, the Israeli press is rising to the occassion to expose these sick bastards for what they are - modern incarnations of Nazis.
