Toxic Legacy of US assault on Fallujah "worse then Hiroshima"

I have covered the toxic brew the US inundated the people of Fallujah with, while pacifying them, on more then one occasion in prior posts. Click the Iraq label at the bottom for more information.
Briefly, I used the word pacify intentionally. Why?

So I could take the opportunity to point out that the use of this word pacify in relation to a brutal, all out kill and destroy everything type assault is pure propaganda.

To pacify usually means to calm and soothe, mothers pacify their crying babies with hugs, or by swaddling and rocking them. Mothers pacify with LOVE.

The US pacified with terror, murder, destruction toxic weapons that keep on killing.

NO love, no soothing, no calming. Only total and complete destruction.

But for the western audience who soaks up their propaganda/mind control this eases the puny brain. This assuages the conscience.
It is a sick game the powers that be play and only a sick mind can except or should tolerate this use of propaganda and mind control.

The latest:

Dramatic increases in infant mortality, cancer and leukaemia in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, which was bombarded by US Marines in 2004, exceed those reported by survivors of the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, according to a new study.

Iraqi doctors in Fallujah have complained since 2005 of being overwhelmed by the number of babies with serious birth defects, ranging from a girl born with two heads to paralysis of the lower limbs.

"to produce an effect like this, some very major mutagenic exposure must have occurred in 2004 when the attacks happened".

US forces later admitted that they had employed white phosphorus as well as other munitions. (what other munitions?)

In the assault US commanders largely treated Fallujah as a free-fire zone (if it moves, kill it) to try to reduce casualties among their own troops.
He added that the US commander who ordered this devastating use of firepower did not consider it significant enough to mention it in his daily report to the US general in command.
The study, entitled "Cancer, Infant Mortality and Birth Sex-Ratio in Fallujah, Iraq 2005-2009", is by Dr Busby, Malak Hamdan and Entesar Ariabi, and concludes that anecdotal evidence of a sharp rise in cancer and congenital birth defects is correct. Infant mortality was found to be 80 per 1,000 births compared to 19 in Egypt, 17 in Jordan and 9.7 in Kuwait. The report says that the types of cancer are "similar to that in the Hiroshima survivors who were exposed to ionising radiation from the bomb and uranium in the fallout".
Researchers found a 38-fold increase in leukaemia, a ten-fold increase in female breast cancer and significant increases in lymphoma and brain tumours in adults. At Hiroshima survivors showed a 17-fold increase in leukaemia, but in Fallujah Dr Busby says what is striking is not only the greater prevalence of cancer but the speed with which it was affecting people.

Of particular significance was the finding that the sex ratio between newborn boys and girls had changed. In a normal population this is 1,050 boys born to 1,000 girls, but for those born from 2005 there was an 18 per cent drop in male births, so the ratio was 850 males to 1,000 females. The sex-ratio is an indicator of genetic damage that affects boys more than girls. A similar change in the sex-ratio was discovered after Hiroshima.

  1. briefly:
sadly, my grandmother passed away yesterday.

It has been a difficult past few weeks, but, she had been suffering and it had been horrible to watch. She suffers no more.

That said, I will likely not post for a couple of days, there is much to take care of at this time.
    Bear with me.
    I will be back.
    Thanks in advance for understanding
    :)

  4. My condolences, Pen. Take care.

As to your article, it is indeed a toxic legacy, and that is just what we know of - I am sure there is twice as much that we know nothing of, the stuff of nightmares.

I have visited webpages with pictures and details on the mutilations, injuries and birth defects that are a legacy of the US Imperial occupation . . . I have never made it through an entire one without having to close it for my own personal need to not to witness such hellish things.

  5. Truly and sincerely sorry to have heard of your grandmother's passing Penny. I hope you and your family are coping well through this mournful event. Please take the time to reflect on all that she's imparted of herself and her experiences that have shaped the person you are today. She will live on through you and your works.

In somber reference to your timely and dedicated post:

The heart of both of these horrific war crimes is what I like to full term as Eugenocide. The twisted union of eugenics and genocide and in the cases of Fallujah, Nagasaki and Hiroshima, this was entirely the intent. Both acts constitute cold acts of murder and naked terrorism under the guise of "war". Just as littering the landscapes of both Afghanistan and Iraq with depleted Uranium, guaranteed to shorten lifespans and severely curtail any progressive population growth. This is by calculated design, and what of the 'Coalition of the Killing' soldiers who are equally exposed and affected? Well, that's called collateral damage and controlled termination of potential future threats. The last thing a government wants is a fully trained and blooded soldier, with military insider knowledge and competencies in specialised weaponry and explosives turning on their masters. After all they might use and teach that very expertise to fight off the living, breathing police state they're soaking in. So they are field-vectored with radiation and covertly deployed biological and chemical weapons of mass disfiguration and slow death. It's financially expedient culling as it lowers the government cost for veteran payouts and care and the soldiers can't come back and sue for the cancers, they've contracted as they're conveniently not attributed to injuries suffered in the battlefield (oops… I meant killing fields).

  7. Very sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing, Penny. My condolences and please look after yourself.

You made some some telling points, particularly, with the word "pacify". It's so insidious this constant word play and manipulation.

HHQ, you make some great points, too. DU causes non hogkins lymphoma amongst other things. It also attacks the next generation through mutation that are passed on. So these countries are having their gene pool destroyed. It must be pleasing to those who have an investment to there really being a 'master race'. The sick joke is that the DU clouds have blown all over the middle east including israel. Afghanistan is stuffed, too.

My brother-in-law was recalled into the army after 9/11 and served in Kuwait working on tanks which have DU armour. He now has non hodgkins lymphoma.
