A justly deserved greeting for Mr. Blair.
Tony Blair pelted with eggs and shoes at book signing
But the protests were not just limited to the book store! He was greeted in kind, earlier, at a tv station.
The projectiles did not hit Blair as he arrived at a bookshop in Dublin, Ireland, to be greeted by scores of demonstrators chanting that he was a "war criminal" and had "blood on his hands" because of the invasion of Iraq.
Irish police blocked off streets around the Eason store on O'Connell Street following the clashes with activists who tried to push down a security barrier.
The demonstrators also shouted: "Hey hey Tony hey, how many kids have you killed today?"
When asked by the show's host about being called a war criminal. Tony answered as any psychopath would- : "Of course I don't believe that."
About 20 members of the Irish Anti-War movement picketed the gate outside the RTE state television headquarters where Blair appeared on the "Late Late" live show to promote his memoirs of a decade in Downing Street.
They shouted "war criminal" as Blair's motorcade passed, in protest at his decision to take Britain into the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Of course you don't "believe that" Mr. Blair. You being of the soul-less, moral-less, lacking any conscience ilk.
Kudos to the Irish protesters!
