US defends bogus European terror alert to justify attacks on Pakistan

Interesting news item at the Guardian
US state department defends Europe-wide terror alert
.

"The US state department today defended the decision to issue a terror alert covering all of Europe but admitted that it had no specific information of any plot or potential target."

WHAT! I just can't imagine that... how could the US do that? No specific information of any plot or target? Nothing!

The alarm led to consternation across Europe, "tit-for-tat" warnings by France and Britain about travel in each other's countries, German government complaints the US was over-reacting to a "hypothetical" threat, anonymous criticism by European security officials, and claims by Pakistani diplomats that the US move was politically motivated.

It was quite obvious that the move had been politically motivated. As I mentioned just over two weeks ago.

  1. Unless your brain was washed, pressed and dried, no one believed this latest booga booga.

That said, with the Uhmerikan Dollar in the shitter, I imagine they're looking for more wars to start.

The BF put Obama on the tele yesterday (forgive him, he was sick) I just about barfed, started talking back to the tele, which of course resulted in the desired outcome - the channel got changed. I simply cannot stand even looking at that man. Never thought I could hate someone more than Bush. But at least with the shrub one knew exactly where one stood. Sorta like bikers and cops.

  2. I just took it as a threat that the CIA and their friends were thinking of blowing stuff up here again, maybe as a kind of payback for Europe having different financial policies to America. Who knows eh?
