Iranian nuclear scientist assasinated - Who could be behind the attack ??

Having briefly got caught up in the BS that is "wikileaks", bane of the Pentagon and other dribble ......
I didn't get to blog on this news story. This does loop a tiny bit back to wikileaks in a way that Israel was so darn proud of.
How it was that wikileaks made there claims and concerns regarding Iran that much more validated.
Or as the LA Times touted in their headline: ISRAEL: WikiLeaks and Israel -- quiet relief, louder vindication, for now

Vindication of what?

Oh and AP, I stumbled across the even more obnoxious headline, it was right in the article linked above Haaretz: "Everybody hates Iran."

“It's, rather, a question of whether WikiLeaks are being manipulated by interested parties that want to either complicate our relationship with other governments or want to undermine some governments, because some of these items that are being emphasized and have surfaced are very pointed.

And I wonder whether, in fact, there aren't some operations internationally, intelligence services, that are feeding stuff to WikiLeaks, because it is a unique opportunity to embarrass us, to embarrass our position, but also to undermine our relations with particular governments.

Someone had a nuclear scientist killed in Iran!
Who would have the most interest in seeing that happen?
Could it be the nation that crowed the loudest yesterday about how right they were on Iran?

Of course, I just want to get right to the point:

Who targeted the scientists?

Israel: The country is pursuing covert operations aimed at hobbling Iran's nuclear programme, as a less costly alternative to mounting a full-scale military attack. Israeli officials admit that such operations are in progress but they give no detail. Israel is widely believed to be responsible for the Stuxnet computer worm that caused problems for the Iranian uranium enrichment programme. The country also has a record of using assassination as a weapon in what it regards as vital national interests.

United States: George Bush, when he was president, ordered a covert programme to sabotage Iran's nuclear ambitions, and that mission is still believed to be under way. Targeted killings have been approved against terrorist targets, but the revelation that a US-backed hit squad was killing civilian scientists would be immensely damaging to the administration.

Jundullah The "Soldiers of God", a Iranian Sunni group based in Iranian Baluchistan, has carried out a series of bloody attacks in recent years that have largely been focused on military targets. The group, known as the People's Resistance Movement of Iran, broadcast a video yesterday of a captive who it claims is a worker from a secret nuclear facility. It did not claim responsibility for the morning's attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists.

The People's Mujahedin (MeK or PMOI) This longstanding rebel group carried out several bombings and assassinations in the years following the 1979 revolution, but has more recently presented itself as a non-violent group. It is focusing its efforts on having itself removed from the US state department's list of terrorist organisations.

Taking into consideration Israel wants war with Iran at all costs.
Israel makes that very clear.
Israel was behind the Stuxnet attack.
Israel regularly assassinates all manner of people in other countries. (this is but one example)

The US assassinates also. But, they have been wavering on an attack on Iran and they weren't lined to Stuxnet in any meaningful way, so?

Jundallah and the MEK. Not bloody likely. Doubtful they could carry this type of attack out. Bombs in marketplaces killing innocents, sure, but not this.

The smart money is on Israel.

Don't breathe. There's a total war on against CO2 emissions, and you are releasing CO2 with every breath. The multi-media campaign against global warming now saturating our senses, which insists that an increasing CO2 component of greenhouse gases is the enemy, takes no prisoners: you are either with us or you are with the "deniers." No one can question the new orthodoxy or dare risk the sin of emission. If Bill Clinton were running for president today he would swear he didn't exhale.

The convergence of the global justice movement and Kyoto, however, prompted some of the elite to rethink and regroup, which created a split in corporate ranks regarding the issue of climate change. Defections from the GCC began in 1997 and within three years had come to include such major players as Dupont, BP, Shell, Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, and Texaco. Among the last GCC hold-outs were Exxon, Mobil, Chevron, and General Motors. (In 2000, the GCC finally went out of business but other like-minded corporate front organizations were created to carry on the "negative” campaign, which continues.)

Those who split off from the GCC quickly coalesced in new organizations. Among the first of these was the Pew Center for Global Climate Change. Funded by the philanthropic offering of the Sun Oil/Sunoco fortune. The board of the new Center was chaired by Theodore Roosevelt IV, great grandson of the Progressive Era president (and conservation icon) and managing director of the Lehman Brothers investment banking firm. Joining him on the board were the managing director of the Castle-Harlan investment firm and the former CEO of Northeast Utilities, as well as veteran corporate lawyer Frank E. Loy, who had been the Clinton administration's chief negotiator on trade and climate change.

At its inception the Pew Center established the Business Environmental Leadership Council, chaired by Loy. Early council members included Sunoco, Dupont, Duke Energy, BP, Royal Dutch/Shell, Duke Energy, Ontario Power Generation, DTE (Detroit Edison), and Alcan. Marking their distance from the GCC, the Council declared “we accept the views of most scientists that enough is known about the science and environmental impacts of climate change for us to take actions to address the consequences;” “Businesses can and should take concrete steps now in the U.S. and abroad to assess opportunities for emission reductions. . . and invest in new, more efficient products, practices, and technologies." The Council emphasized that climate change should be dealt with through "market-based mechanisms” and by adopting “reasonable policies,” and expressed the belief “that companies taking early action on climate strategies and policy will gain sustained competitive advantage over their peers."

Early in 2000, “world business leaders" convening at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland declared that “climate change is the greatest threat facing the world.” That fall, many of the same players, including Dupont, BP, Shell, Suncor, Alcan, and Ontario Power Generation, as well as the French aluminum manufacturer Pechiney, joined forces with the U.S. advocacy group Environmental Defense to form the Partnership for Climate Action. Like-minded Environmental Defense directors included the Pew Center's Frank Loy and principals from the Carlyle Group, Berkshire Partners, and Morgan Stanley and the CEO of Carbon Investments. Echoing the Pew Center mission, and barely a year after the “battle of Seattle" had shut down the World Trade Organization in opposition to the corporate globalization regime, the new organization reaffirmed its belief in the beneficence of market capitalism. “The primary purpose of the Partnership is to champion market-based mechanisms as a means of achieving early and credible action on reducing greenhouse gas emissions that is efficient and cost-effective." Throughout its initial announcement this message was repeated like a mantra: “the benefits of market mechanisms," “market-oriented rules," “market-based programs can provide the means to simultaneously achieve both environmental protection and economic development goals,” "the power of market mechanisms to contribute to climate change solutions.” In the spring of 2002, the Partnership's first report proudly stated that “the companies of the PCA are in the vanguard of the new field of greenhouse gas management.” “The PCA is not only achieving real reductions in global warming emissions,” the report noted, "but also providing a body of practical experience, demonstrating how to reduce pollution while continuing to profit.”

This potential for profit-making from climate change gained the avid attention of investment bankers, some of whom were central participants in the PCA through their connections with the boards of the Pew Center and Environmental Defense. Goldman Sachs became the leader of the pack; with its ownership of power plants through Cogentrix and clients like BP and Shell, the Wall Street firm was most attuned to the opportunities. In 2004 the company began to explore the “market-making” possibilities and the following year established its Center for Environmental Markets, with the announcement that “Goldman Sachs will aggressively seek market-making and investment opportunities in environmental markets;" The firm indicated that the Center would engage in research to develop public policy options for establishing markets around climate change, including the design and promotion of regulatory solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The firm also indicated that Goldman Sachs would “take the lead in identifying investment opportunities in renewable energy;” that year the investment banking firm acquired Horizon Wind Energy, invested in photovoltaics with Sun Edison, arranged financing for Northeast Biofuels, and purchased a stake in logen Corporation, which pioneered the conversion of straw, corn stalks, and switchgrass into ethanol. The company also dedicated itself “to act as a market maker in emissions trading” of CO2 (and SO2) as well as in such areas as “weather derivatives,” "renewable energy credits," and other “climate-related commodities.” “We believe," Goldman Sachs proclaimed, “that the management of risks and opportunities arising from climate change and its regulation will be particularly significant and will garner increasing attention from capital market participants.”

Among those capital market participants was former U.S. Vice President AI Gore. Gore had a long-standing interest in environmental issues and had represented the U.S. in Kyoto. He also had equally long-standing family ties with the energy industry through his father's friendship with Armand Hammer and his financial interest in Hammer’s company Occidental Petroleum, which the son inherited. In 2004, as Goldman Sachs was gearing up its climate-change market-making initiatives in quest of green profits, Gore teamed up with Goldman Sachs executives David Blood, Peter Harris, and Mark Ferguson to establish the London-based environment investment firm Generation Investment Management (GIM), with Gore and Blood at its helm. In May, 2005 Gore, representing GIM, addressed the Institutional Investor Summit on Climate Risk and emphasized the need for investors to think in the long term and to integrate environmental issues into their equity analyses. "I believe that integrating the issues relating to climate change into your analysis of what stocks are worth investing in, how much, and for how long, is simply good business,” Gore explained to the assembled investors. Applauding a decision to move in this direction announced the day before by General Electric's CEO Jeff Immelt, Gore declared that “we are here at an extraordinarily hopeful moment. . .when the leaders in the business sector begin to make their moves.” By that time Gore was already at work on his book about global warming, An Inconvenient Truth, and that same spring he began preparations to make a film about it.

"These (disclosures) don't hurt Israel at all -- perhaps the opposite," said Giora Eiland, a retired Israeli general who served as national security adviser to former prime ministers Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert.

Yedioth Ahronoth, said "a single picture, sharp and clear" had emerged: "the entire world, not just Israel, is panicked over the Iranian nuclear program."

The provocation of China via North Korea

Now to North Korea/South Korea.....

It is quite obvious that this was a provocation on the part of the US and South Korea.
The US and South Korea were engaged in war games and they are planning on keeping the war games provocations up.

The US and South Korea are to stage fresh war games in the Yellow Sea in the coming days in a show of force against the North Korean regime, as diplomatic and military tension remained high on the Korean peninsula.

If they are going to start fresh war games, it means they have held previous war games. Which were the provocations that North Korea responded to.

On top of all this we have the US taking this opportunity to move the USS Washington provocatively close to China, to the Yellow Sea.

"The USS Washington left Yokosuka US Naval Base south of Tokyo on Wednesday morning and will begin the joint exercises on Sunday"

China has previously warned the US on taking such provocative actions. Previously the US backed off.

The US postponed plans for similar exercises last August after Beijing reacted furiously to its announcement that it was sending the USS Washington to the Yellow Sea, with one Chinese general describing the move as a "flagrant provocation".

This time, something else is going on. This time, it has to do with expanding the currency war to a real military conflict.
The US is displeased that China would not devalue their currency.
This decision by China to not destroy their own economy, in order to bail the US out of the disaster of their own making, is all the reason the US needs to fire warning shots at China.

Therefore the provocation of North Korea, the moving of the USS Washington into the Yellow Sea, are all the opening salvos of an attempt to provoke or intimidate China.
This could end badly, or not.
But in a nutshell, this is my take on what is going on.

Memo to Ireland- "Tell the EU and the IMF to shove it"

There is so much going on in the world. And I do not mean, Dancing with the Stars "controversial" ending. Nope. Nor am I talking about entertainment news of any sort.

When I decide what the heck it is I am going to blog on, it is so difficult, in fact impossible to cover all relevant and urgently important topics.

So let's look at Ireland and the so called "bail-out" of the country. Which is NOT a bail-out of the nation. It is just another bank bailout.

This is a black day for Ireland. The Irish people will now face a decade or more of grinding poverty and depression thanks to their venal leaders. As soon as the ink dries on the IMF loans, the second occupation of Ireland will begin, only this time there won't be armored cars and Paramilitaries in fatigues, but nerdy-looking bureaucrats trained in the art of spreading misery. In fact, the loans haven't even been signed yet, and already IMF officials are urging the government to cut jobless benefits and the minimum wage. They're literally champing at the bit. They just can't wait to get their hands on the budget and start slashing away.

And don't believe the hype about European unity or saving Ireland. My ass. This is about bailing out the banks. The bondholders get a free ride while workers get kicked to the curb. Here's a clip from the Financial Times that spells it out in black and white:

"According to data compiled by the Bank of International Settlements, the three largest creditors to the Irish economy at the end of June...were Germany to the tune of €109bn, the UK at €100bn and France at €40bn. These sums amount to 2 per cent of France’s gross domestic product, 4.5 per cent of Germany’s GDP, and 7 per cent of British GDP."

So the bailouts are actually for banks from Germany, UK and France?

See? Another bank bailout. Ireland is being asked to cut to social services, slash wages, renegotiate contracts, and dismantle the welfare state so that undercapitalized banks in France and Germany can get their pound of flesh. But, why? They're the ones who bought the bonds. No one put a gun to their head. They knew they could lose money if Irish banks went south. That's the risk they took. "You pays your money, and you takes your chances." Right? That's how capitalism works.

Not any more, it doesn't. Not while Cowen's in charge, at least. The Irish PM has decided to bail them out; make the bondholders "whole again." But who made Cowen God? Who gave Cowen the right to hand over his country to the IMF?

No one. Cowen is a rogue agent kowtowing to international capital. After he finishes his work in Ireland, he'll probably join globalist Tony Blair on the French Riviera for a little hobnobbing with the tuxedo crowd.

It's revealing to watch the way Cowen works, as though the interests of foreign bankers mean more to him than those of his own people. For example, the Green Party withdrew from the government last night calling for new elections, but even though the government is in a shambles, the slippery Taoiseach wants to stay in power long enough to push through a new 4-year budget that will leave Irish workers on the brink of destitution. Who is Cowen working for anyway?

This is from the Irish Times:

"Opposition parties have today stepped up pressure on the Government as it seeks to push ahead with passing next month's budget.

Fine Gael again called for an immediate general election and said the four-year budgetary plan should only be implemented by a Government which has a proper mandate....

"What is best for the country is that the negotiation about a programme for four years be done by a government which has four years to serve, that has a mandate from the public so that it has the authority and the credibility to not only develop and negotiate it but to implement it. I think that is in Ireland's best interest," he said. ("Opposition steps up pressure", Charlie Taylor, Irish Times)

The prospective belt-tightening measures will include the firing of 28,000 public employees, a boost in property taxes, a 10 percent cut in welfare benefits, and higher taxes on low-wage workers. Cowen believes that taxing low income families is preferable to making billionaire bondholders eat their losses. The whole thing stinks to high-heaven.

Is there a way out for Ireland? Economist Mark Weisbrot thinks so. Here's what he thinks should happen:

"The European authorities and IMF can loan Ireland any funds needed in the next year or two at very low interest rates....Once these borrowing needs are guaranteed, Ireland would not have to worry about spikes in its borrowing costs like the one that provoked the current crisis....The European authorities could scrap their pro-cyclical conditions and, instead, allow for Ireland to undertake a temporary fiscal stimulus to get their economy growing again. That is the most feasible, practical alternative to continued recession.

Instead, the European authorities are trying what the IMF... calls an "internal devaluation". This is a process of shrinking the economy and creating so much unemployment that wages fall dramatically, and the Irish economy becomes more competitive internationally on the basis of lower unit labour costs." ("There is another way for bullied Ireland", Mark Weisbrot, The Guardian)

It's all de rigeur for the IMF. It wouldn't be an IMF program unless someone was starving. That's the benchmark for success.

Ireland doesn't need structural adjustment programs when low interest funding and fiscal stimulus can bring the economy back to life. This is politics not economics. The EU and IMF are using the crisis to push through their own agenda. Their real goal is to crush the unions, shred the social safety net, and roll back the gains of the Progressive Era.

The Irish people are left with no choice but to resist. Presently the Cowen government is collapsing. Bravo. Now it's off to the barricades to see if the damage can be undone. Ireland needs to withdraw from the EU and start fresh. It'll be a bumpy road at first, but there's no other way. Economist Dean Baker sums it up like this in an article in The Guardian. Here's what he said:

"Even a relatively small country like Ireland has options. Specifically, they could drop out of the euro and default on their debt....Like Ireland, Argentina had also been a poster child of the neoliberal crew before it ran into difficulties.

But the IMF can turn quickly. Its austerity programme lowered GDP by almost 10% and pushed the unemployment rate well into the double digits. By the end of the 2001, it was politically impossible for the Argentine government to agree to more austerity. As a result, it broke the supposedly unbreakable link between its currency and the dollar and defaulted on its debt.

The immediate effect was to make the economy worse, but by the second half of 2002, the economy was again growing. This was the start of five and a half years of solid growth, until the world economic crisis eventually took its toll in 2009." ("Ireland should 'do an Argentina", Dean Baker, The Guardian)

The Irish people didn't struggle through centuries of famine and foreign occupation so they could be debt-peons in the EU's corporate Uberstate. Like Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams said, "We don't need anyone coming in to run the place for us. We can run it ourselves." Right. Tell the EU plutocrats to take their Utopian Bankstate and shove it

Ireland is being IMF'd. Austerity measures are being pushed on to the Irish people, to bail out the bankster thieves.

If pitches are to succeed, they need to reach the subconscious level of the brain, the place where consumers develop initial interest in products, inclinations to buy them and brand loyalty, says A. K. Pradeep, the founder and chief executive of NeuroFocus, a neuromarketing firm based in Berkeley, Calif.

Volunteers in NeuroFocus marketing tests wear a fabric cap that houses EEG sensors and an eye-tracking device while they look at a commercial, use a Web site or view a movie trailer. The dual devices enable researchers to connect the volunteers’ brain patterns with the exact video images or banner ads or logos they’re viewing.

“By measuring brain waves, we are able to measure attention, emotion and memory,” says Dr. Pradeep, who holds a Ph.D. in engineering. “We basically compute the deep subconscious response to stimuli.”

Add all those electrical patterns together, he says, and “you find it represents the whispers of the brain.”

And the brain-whispering business seems to be booming.

A handful of neuromarketing firms, like EmSense, Sands Research, MindLab International and NeuroSense, now specialize in the latest mind-mining techniques — EEGs, M.R.I.’s, eye-tracking — or in older biometric methods that track skin, muscle or facial responses to products or ads.

Trying to tap into the consumer subconscious in the hope of moving more merch isn’t new. More than 50 years ago, Vance Packard, a journalist and social critic, wrote a seminal book called “The Hidden Persuaders,” which described how advertisers played on people’s unconscious desires in trying to influence them.

Hidden Persuaders, btw, is a very good book. A little outdated but the basics are there and relevant. Yes I have read it. And so can you! Preview it here, with some chapters available.

Neuromarketing is simply the latest incarnation, says Joseph Turrow a professor of communication at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. “There has always been a holy grail in advertising to try to reach people in a hypodermic way,” he says.

Major corporations and research firms, he says, are jumping on the neuromarketing bandwagon because they are desperate for any novel technique to help them break through all the marketing clutter. “It’s as much about the nature of the industry and the anxiety roiling through the system as it is about anything else,” he says.

But should we worry that a technique that probes subconscious brain patterns might be used to unduly influence consumers, turning them into shopping robots without their knowledge and consent? Indeed, neuromarketing is setting off alarm bells among some consumer advocates, who call it “brandwashing” — an amalgam of branding and brainwashing.

CIA must disclose data on human experiments

(CN) - A federal magistrate judge in San Francisco ordered the CIA to produce specific records and testimony about the human experiments the government allegedly conducted on thousands of soldiers from 1950 through 1975.
Three veterans groups and six individual veterans sued the CIA and other government agencies, claiming they used about 7,800 soldiers as human guinea pigs to research biological, chemical and psychological weapons.
The experiments, many of which took place at Edgewood Arsenal and Fort Detrick in Maryland, allegedly exposed test subjects to chemicals, drugs and electronic implants.
Though the soldiers volunteered, they never gave informed consent, because the government didn't fully disclose the risks, the veterans claimed. They were also required to sign an oath of secrecy, according to the complaint.

The veterans filed three sets of document requests to find out who was tested, what substances they were given, and how it affected them. Between October and April, the government produced about 15,000 pages of heavily redacted records, most of which related to the named plaintiffs only.

The CIA argued that much of the information requested was protected under the Privacy Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
U.S. Magistrate Judge James Larson acknowledged that some of the requests were too broad and ordered the veterans to be more specific and to reduce the total number of requests.
For example, Larson said the plaintiffs' definition of "test program" is "overbroad," as it not only named experimental programs like "Bluebird," "Artichoke" and "MKUltra," but also included "any other program of experimentation involving human testing of any substance, including but not limited to 'MATERIAL TESTING PROGRAM EA 1729.'"
He ordered the veterans to provide a list of specific test programs and test substances.
But once the plaintiffs narrow their requests, Larson said, they are entitled to most of the information. Each government agency must respond individually to each request, he said, and if an agency denies any request, it must explain -- in sufficient detail -- why the records are purportedly privileged.

The CIA has already claimed that some documents are protected under the state-secrets privilege, but Larson said the agency needs to be more specific. He asked for a "supplemental declaration explaining with heightened specificity" why the documents are considered state secrets. Because these documents might contain sensitive information, the judge allowed the CIA to file the declaration under seal.

Larson rejected the government's bid to limit the scope of discovery, saying doing so "removes the remaining hurdle" for the CIA to respond to the veterans' sets of requests.
"Defendants should respond in earnest to Plaintiffs' discovery requests, regardless of any ongoing or prior searches, investigations, or litigation," Larson wrote. He said the government can't limit disclosure to information about the six individual plaintiffs.
The CIA insisted discovery was unwarranted in its case, because it never funded or conducted drug research on military personnel.
Larson wasn't convinced.
"[T]his court rejects the conclusion that the CIA necessarily lacks a nexus to Plaintiffs' claims, and orders the CIA to respond in earnest" to the veterans' requests, "particularly because defendants have presented evidence that would appear to cast doubt on that conclusion," he wrote.

The government also tried to avoid deposition, claiming too much time had passed since the alleged experiments, and any witnesses familiar with the projects likely no longer work for the government. The CIA further argued, unsuccessfully, that the court should stay discovery until the Department of Defense completes its investigation of the experiments.
Larson reminded the CIA that it "cannot use the DoD investigation as an excuse to avoid discovery responsibilities."

He then addressed which topics are fair game for deposition, saying the government must produce witnesses to testify about the following: communication between the VA and test subjects on their health care claims; a 1963 CIA Inspector General report on an experiment called MKUltra, and the basis for each redaction on that report; the scope and conduct of document searches; the doses and effects of substances administered to test subjects; any contract or research proposals concerning the experiments; a confidential Army memo about the use of volunteers in research; all government-led human experiments from 1975 to date, but only those that involve specific drugs; and whether the government secretly administered MKUltra materials to "the patrons of prostitutes" in safe houses in New York and San Francisco, as the veterans claimed.

Judge Larson ruled for the CIA on other issues, however, saying the agency's not required to testify about test subjects who withdrew their consent or refused to participate; devices allegedly implanted into certain test subjects; the alleged use of patients at VA hospitals as guinea pigs in chemical and biological weapons experiments; or the drug research studies conducted by Dr. Paul Hoch, who was purportedly funded by the government and caused the death of a patient named Harold Blauer.

Though Larson declined to sanction the government, as the veterans sought, he warned that he would impose sanctions for any "future unjustifiable discovery recalcitrance."
Named plaintiffs are the Vietnam Veterans of America, Swords to Plowshare, the Veterans Rights Organization, Bruce Price, Franklin D. Rochelle, Larry Meirow, Eric P. Muth, David C. Dufrane and Wray C. Forrest.

Space the next frontier for major conflict. A role for Canada

Me, being a broken record here. How many times have I discussed the topic of the weaponization of space?
Well interesting little msm report over the weekend-

And Canada has a role to play, as subordinate and in coordination with the US.

It won’t look like a scene from Star Wars, but the man in charge of space development for the defence department predicts the initial steps of the next major conflict are more than likely to start in orbit and Canada should be prepared.

There will “absolutely” be more of a military role for Canada in space than in the past, Col. Andre Dupuis said on Saturday as he discussed the defence department’s plans to overhaul its space defence policy.

The defence department’s new space defence policy is almost complete and has reached the highest levels for final review, he said.

Dupuis told the conference the policy “recognizes space as an operational environment” and provides guidance on how to exploit it in support of Canadian Forces operations.

Of course the claim that this is necessary because China is trying to deny the advantage frankly to the West.
I'll quote the man entirely-

Dupuis says the satellite destruction by the Chinese was a clear indication the Chinese are planning ways to conduct operations in space.

“Not space warfare, but operations in space to deny the advantage frankly to the West,” he said.

What he says underhandedly in that sentence is that the west already has the advantage. China is trying to play catch-up. The new arms race!


And right up the alley of big brother is watching...

Another panelist, Doug Bancroft, director-general of the Canada Centre for Remote Sensing, part of National Resources Canada, said the only effective way to monitor the country is from space.

Monitor the country? Sufficiently vague. Does he really mean monitor the citizens? The movement of ? The activity of ? What?

First I have hear of this Canada Centre for Remote Sensing, so check it out.

I want to get back to the first article. There is a sentence in this that, well, gave me pause for thought.

"Over the past decade, viruses and even certain bacterial infections have become far more accepted as contributory causes for particular types of cancer"

This sentence jumped out at me.

If viruses have become far more accepted as contributory causes for cancer, then why so many vaccines, injecting people with "attenuated" viruses?
It would seem all these injection of viruses, may lead more people to have more cancer.

Just a thought.

TSA pat down leaves traveller covered in Urine

Another TSA terror tale.

A retired special education teacher on his way to a wedding in Orlando, Fla., said he was left humiliated, crying and covered with his own urine after an enhanced pat-down by TSA officers recently at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

“I was absolutely humiliated, I couldn’t even speak,” said Thomas D. “Tom” Sawyer, 61, of Lansing, Mich.

Sawyer is a bladder cancer survivor who now wears a urostomy bag, which collects his urine from a stoma, or opening in his stomach. “I have to wear special clothes and in order to mount the bag I have to seal a wafer to my stomach and then attach the bag. If the seal is broken, urine can leak all over my body and clothes.”

On Nov. 7, Sawyer said he went through the security scanner at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. “Evidently the scanner picked up on my urostomy bag, because I was chosen for a pat-down procedure.”

Due to his medical condition, Sawyer asked to be screened in private. “One officer looked at another, rolled his eyes and said that they really didn’t have any place to take me,” said Sawyer. “After I said again that I’d like privacy, they took me to an office.”

Sawyer wears pants two sizes too large in order to accommodate the medical equipment he wears. He’d taken off his belt to go through the scanner and once in the office with security personnel, his pants fell down around his ankles. “I had to ask twice if it was OK to pull up my shorts,” said Sawyer, “And every time I tried to tell them about my medical condition, they said they didn’t need to know about that.”

Before starting the enhanced pat-down procedure, a security officer did tell him what they were going to do and how they were going to it, but Sawyer said it wasn’t until they asked him to remove his sweatshirt and saw his urostomy bag that they asked any questions about his medical condition.

“One agent watched as the other used his flat hand to go slowly down my chest. I tried to warn him that he would hit the bag and break the seal on my bag, but he ignored me. Sure enough, the seal was broken and urine started dribbling down my shirt and my leg and into my pants.”

The security officer finished the pat-down, tested the gloves for any trace of explosives and then, Sawyer said, “He told me I could go. They never apologized. They never offered to help. They acted like they hadn’t seen what happened. But I know they saw it because I had a wet mark.”

Humiliated, upset and wet, Sawyer said he had to walk through the airport soaked in urine, board his plane and wait until after takeoff before he could clean up.

“I am totally appalled by the fact that agents that are performing these pat-downs have so little concern for people with medical conditions,” said Sawyer.

Judging from the number of concerns I have read about the TSA pat downs, it would seem they have little concern for people-period

Cholera in Haiti- Whodunnit ? And, was it intentional?

Indeed, who did do it? More importantly was it intentional?
The opportunity was certainly there. The conditions were all ripe for the spread of disease.
So would someone, some entity, jump at the chance to rid themselves of a problem?
The question begs to be asked.

Reading these news stories...... left me wondering.
Let's say someone, some country, some organization wanted to address a problem of too many people, thereby warranting population reduction, disease may be the solution.

Haiti is one country, where an elite crowd of politically connected sob's would be more then happy to get rid of a good chunk of the unwashed masses.
Of course some would have to be left alive, for cheap labour. As for the rest.....

Cholera in Haiti has been virulent, already killing 1100 people in a very short time.

DNA fingerprinting has confirmed what health experts have suspected -- the cholera epidemic that has killed more than 1,100 people in Haiti came from one single source.

Of course rumours have been circulating that it was UN peacekeepers. Was it? Was it not?

Cholera broke out in Haiti's breadbasket Artibonite Department a month ago and despite efforts to control it, has spread to infect more than 18,000 people.

It perfectly illustrates the classic public health warning -- any disease can be carried anywhere in the world in just hours, and without good sanitation or a good public health infrastructure, can spread like wildfire.

The US Centers for Disease Control has analyzed samples of Vibrio cholerae from several patients and they are all identical. Therefore a single source is suspected.

This suggests it entered Haiti in a single "event" -- not necessarily an infected person, but possibly. Other potential sources include imported food.

With all the food aid pouring into Haiti, how difficult would it be to intentionally contaminate some of that food and distribute it to the people? It really wouldn't be difficult at all.

This concept I am speaking of, intentionally bringing disease to a group of people is nothing new, it is not unheard of. It was done as far back as the whites delivering small pox to the natives.
Or known contaminated vaccines given to people, intentionally.
Of course, there is the entire gamut of MKULTRA inflicted diseases and experiments.
So the precedent is there.

The cholera outbreak in Haiti could end up causing more widespread damage than immediate death and illness.

From this news article, we read:

"This strain of cholera seems to be more virulent than normal strains," Thomas Adams, the special US coordinator for Haiti, told reporters"

So this is an unusual strain. An abnormal strain. That is interesting.
Keep this in mind-

"The Haitian population has no preexisting immunity to cholera, and environmental conditions in Haiti are favorable for its continued spread," it said.

Recall after the earthquake the US and other nations were very quick to set up shop in Haiti.
Very quick to militarize Haiti?! Is it a Humanitarian Operation or an Invasion?

Quite clearly. it was an Invasion. There was no Humanitarian Operation. If this had been a true humanitarian operation, more would have been accomplished by now.

But, if the true agenda is not humanitarian. Then the disease would be very beneficial to cut down on the cost of rebuilding, getting a lot of people out of the way of the job that really needs to be done.

Haiti is strategically located. And in it's vulnerable state ripe for exploitation.

Clinton—US president from 1992-2000—led a conference in Haiti in October 2009 to encourage international investment in the garment, agricultural, and energy sectors of the island nation.

The earthquake that killed more than 150,000 people in Haiti this month may have left clues to petroleum reservoirs that could aid economic recovery in the Western Hemisphere’s poorest nation, a geologist said.

“Haiti, from the standpoint of oil and gas exploration, is a lot less developed than the Dominican Republic,” Pierce said. “One could do a lot more work there.”

To summarize, we have a nation ripe for exploitation by corporations and wealthy elites, but..
there is a little problem of too many people, and to much money being needed to truly address the humanitarian issue.
And along comes a disease that the people of Haiti have no immunity to.

Israeli organ trafficking. It is real. It is happening. It is not anti-semitic.
Every time there is news of Israeli involvement in the illegal organ trafficking, the shouts of blood libel emanate from Israel.
I say nonsense. Utter nonsense.

It has been well reported on...in other parts of the world including Israel.
But coverage of the topic always seems to be lacking in the US and Canada. Why?
(That's a rhetorical question. If your awake in the US and Canada you understand the influence of the zionist lobby)
The last post I did covered Israeli traffickers bringing their "business" to the Philippines.
Recently there is news connecting Israeli organ traffickers to South Africa.
Of course, there was news of another kind of connection between Israel and South Africa. Israel trying to selling their apartheid partner nuclear weapons.
But this story isn't about nuclear weapons, so let's get back to Israel involvement in illegal depraved organ trafficking.

A South African hospital and it's chief executive have been charged, AFTER YEARS OF INVESTIGATION, into a human organ trafficking case that stretched from Israel to South Africa to Brazil.

The case first became known in 2003. That year and the next, arrests were made in Brazil and South Africa. That year and the next, arrests were made in Brazil and South Africa. Investigators said Brazilians who passed a medical checkup were flown to South Africa, where their kidneys were extracted for transplants into Israeli patients.
Eastern Europeans were also donors.

Five South African doctors have been charged with performing illegal kidney transplants for rich Israelis using organs bought from poor Brazilians and Romanians, newspapers reported on Thursday.
Also charged was Richard Friedland, head of the country's top private hospital group Netcare, and the St Augustine Hospital in Durban where prosecutors say 109 illegal operations were conducted between 2001 and 2003.

But it took until 2010 to lay charges?

"Israeli citizens in need of kidney transplants would be brought to South Africa for transplants at St Augustine's Hospital. They paid kidney suppliers for these operations," read the charge sheet, according to the Times.

The kidneys "were initially sourced from Israeli citizens,(that is most likely Palestinians residing in Israel) but later Romanian and Brazilian citizens were recruited as their kidneys were obtainable at much lower cost than those of the Israeli suppliers", it said.

Five years ago South African police tried to bring a case against Israeli Ilan Perry, claimed to be the kingpin behind the syndicate.

That case was never brought forward, but now Perry has turned state witness, the Times said

Curious, because western media (see below) insists on calling this a South African (SA) organ trafficking ring. But is it? Is that an accurate description? Sure, the operations were done in SA, on the affluent Israelis that went to SA to have them done ...but, if you have Israel kingpins and Israeli patients, wouldn't this be an Israeli organ trafficking ring? Conducting their business in another country?

Ilan Perry of Israel approaches Roderick Kimberley of Durban, South Africa, about getting involved in a kidney-transplant ring. Over the next two years, at least 107 transplant operations are carried out at St. Augustine's Hospital in Durban. All the recipients are Israeli. The donors come from Israel, Brazil, and possibly Russia and Romania.

Sounds to me like an Israeli organ trafficking ring. An Israeli approached the South African. And operations were conducted to the benefit of Israelis.

This one straight from Haaretz Interpol hunts two Israelis for Kosovo organ trafficking

Moshe Harel is among seven indicted for membership of a criminal group trafficking people into Kosovo to remove human organs for transplant; another Israeli citizen, Zaki Shapira, identified as co-conspirator.

According to the indictment obtained by the AP on Thursday, the victims came from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey and lived in extreme poverty or acute financial distress.

The EU prosecution has made requests to secure evidence from authorities in Canada, Germany, Kazakhstan and Turkey, including access to e-mails of two suspects on servers in the United States.

The organ trafficking by Israelis is not anti-semitic. It is not "blood libel" It is happening. worldwide. If anyone makes claims to the opposite and uses derogatory labelling or name calling they are attempting to deflect attention away from the facts. Yes, other people are involved. But in every case thus far it seems this is done by Israeli's, for the benefit of Israeli's. Why is this fact hidden?

Orwell's Warning: The Greatest American Paradox

The author of this book, Erik Blaire, was kind enough to send me a copy to read and review.
I have done so and will share my thoughts here.
If Erik wants to chime in and share any thoughts on why he wrote this book, he is more then welcome to do so.

I first came across Erik Blaire when I heard an interview he had done with Jan Irving at Gnostic Media. I am reposting the interview as it will help give the listener/reader some idea of what his book is about, so you will find the interview at the bottom after my review.

By the way, this is the first time I have ever seriously reviewed a book, other then "yeah that was a good book" or "that book was crap". So here we go, for better or worse!

Erik has a quote in his book that in my opinion summarized quite nicely what his book sets out to accomplish.

"We have now sunk to a depth at which restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men.
George Orwell

Stating the obvious, or what should be obvious, to the people would not be necessary. But it is, thanks to the obfuscation of the mainstream media. Therefore stating the obvious has become an absolute necessity in these times.

Erik is stating the obvious in a readable and thought provoking book.

In the preface of the book, Erik introduces us to allopathy (modern medicine), what allopathy is etc., What I found striking was the ever changing definitions of allopathy.
These ever changing definitions serve to muddy the waters on what it is medicine is supposed to be. Helpful or hurtful?
A fact that Erik brings to light is that allopathy or modern medicine is killer #1 of Americans. Or that when doctors strike mortality decreases.
These facts demonstrate that there are big issues with mainstream medicine, and yet they are unknown. Why?

In Part 2 the author introduces us to the terminology of 1984 then applies these terminologies to our modern society.
In Parts 3 and 4 he explores paranoia and disobedience in our conformist society.
Where labels of paranoia and disobedience stem from non-conformity rather then illness.

I like Erik's mono logging experiment. It left me with a picture of the author sitting in a park enduring disapproving stares while he engaged in an activity, that had a child done this would have surely resulted in smiles, and "oh, isn't that cute"

The explanation of Laws vs Norms was quite good. This line of thinking was one I had never engaged in. But, how correct Erik was in pointing out just how restrictive norms are! How well behaviour is controlled, through perceived norms, without a law ever being enacted.

My two wishes for the book were that, first, Erik would have explored the "Laws vs Norms" thought line at length. I can help you out with a recent example of something that happened to me, when I did not adhere to a perceived norm Erik.

My second wish. Erik brings forth a concept, allopathy (medicine) as fascism, that I wish he would have examined further. I see in my notes I wrote "good concept-expand on it".

Overall, I enjoyed the book! 5 stars!

"Inside Job" documentary exposing the banksters thievery.

Body Scanners have mutagenic effect- Passenger refused groping and videos it all

Body Scanners, of course the government says they are safe.

In my opinion, based on multiple reporting of collusion between business and government, government cannot be trusted to be honest with the people. They can be trusted to provide big business the validity they need to promote their products.

A Californian university professor of biochemistry said the Obama administration's claim that full-body scanners pose no health risks to air travellers is in "error".

The administration's defence of the controversial machines, which use x-rays to perform what critics have dubbed "naked strip searches" , has "many misconceptions, and we will write a careful answer pointing out their errors", said John Sedat, a University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) professor of biochemistry and biophysics and member of the National Academy of Sciences.

This professor sent a letter to the US government in which he lays out the very real dangers to people who go through these scanners.

I am going to quote extensively from the letter:

The Red Flags

The physics of these X-rays is very telling: the X-rays are Compton-Scattering off outer molecule bonding electrons and thus inelastic (likely breaking bonds).
Unlike other scanners, these new devices operate at relatively low beam energies
(28keV). The majority of their energy is delivered to the skin and the underlying tissue. Thus, while the dose would be safe if it were distributed throughout the volume of the entire body, the dose to the skin may be dangerously high.

The X-ray dose from these devices has often been compared in the media to the cosmic ray exposure inherent to airplane travel or that of a chest X-ray. However, this comparison is very misleading: both the air travel cosmic ray exposure and chest Xrays have much higher X-ray energies and the health consequences are appropriately
understood in terms of the whole body volume dose. In contrast, these new airport
scanners are largely depositing their energy into the skin and immediately adjacent tissue, and since this is such a small fraction of body weight/vol, possibly by one to two orders of magnitude, the real dose to the skin is now high.

In addition, it appears that real independent safety data do not exist.(Imagine my non-suprise? I guess the Whitehouse just took the word of big business) A search, ultimately finding top FDA radiation physics staff, suggests that the relevant radiation quantity, the Flux [photons per unit area and time (because this is a scanning device)]has not been characterized. Instead an indirect test (Air Kerma) was made that emphasized the whole body exposure value, and thus it appears that the danger is low when compared to cosmic rays during airplane travel and a chest X-ray dose. In summary, if the key data (flux-integrated photons per unit values) were available, it would be straightforward to accurately model the dose being deposited in the skin and adjacent tissues using available computer codes, which would resolve the potential concerns over radiation damage.

Our colleagues at UCSF, dermatologists and cancer experts, raise specific important concerns:
• A) The large population of older travelers, >65 years of age, is particularly at
risk from the mutagenic effects of the X-rays based on the known biology of
melanocyte aging.
• B) A fraction of the female population is especially sensitive to mutagenesis provoking radiation leading to breast cancer. Notably, because these women,
who have defects in DNA repair mechanisms, are particularly prone to cancer,
X-ray mammograms are not performed on them. The dose to breast tissue
beneath the skin represents a similar risk.
• C) Blood (white blood cells) perfusing the skin is also at risk.
• D) The population of immunocompromised individuals--HIV and cancer
patients (see above) is likely to be at risk for cancer induction by the high skin
dose.
• E) The risk of radiation emission to children and adolescents does not appear to
have been fully evaluated.
• F) The policy towards pregnant women needs to be defined once the theoretical
risks to the fetus are determined.
• G) Because of the proximity of the testicles to skin, this tissue is at risk for
sperm mutagenesis.
• H) Have the effects of the radiation on the cornea and thymus been determined?

Hmm, it is almost like this is a government blessed cancer causing machine?!

Another related story- 31 year old softwear engineer refuses Groping from TSA and is ejected from the airport.

This story is from Chicago Independent Press

John Tyner, a software engineer in California, refused to go through the extra security measures now in place at the San Diego airport this past weekend. When the 31-year-old refused the controversial search, he was ejected from the airport.

“I don’t think that the government has any business seeing me naked as a condition of traveling about the country.”

John Tyner said that only his wife and doctor are “allowed to touch his groin and that if it were not the government doing this, it would be considers a sexual assault.”

The missile launch is being blamed on China.

We have had the failed G-20 talks.
The western media is attempting to blame China for this failure.

When in fact the blame for the economic mess the globe finds itself in sits squarely on the shoulders of GLOBALIZATION. Globalization is the most advantageous to one entity and one entity only. That is banking. Then corporations fall in lock step. Globalization does not serve the 'unwashed masses' The media fails to speak of this, ever.

The US has been the main driver of globalization, so as it's locomotive, the engine that has driven the move to globalization. it bears the blame for the global mess. Through the fraudulent mortgage backed securities, which the US allowed, the whole global house of cards has fallen.

In the eyes of policymakers in many developing countries, U.S. primacy and credibility have been eroded by the global financial crisis, which had its origins in the U.S. subprime mortgage meltdown.

The ultra-loose monetary and fiscal policies that the United States has adopted in response is testing faith in the dollar to destruction -- and not just among the likes of China and Russia.

No less a figure than World Bank President Robert Zoellick, himself a former U.S. Treasury official, said last week it was time to start thinking about building a new monetary system.

Aside from all the financial shenanigans of the banks. I want to get back to China.
I am of the opinion the missile launch had nothing to do with China.
But, China makes a convenient scapegoat for a country hell bent on war with and balkanization of China. That country would be the US. The missile launch would be a handy-dandy diversionary false flag.

So I am going to take you back to an interesting news story.. back almost a month ago, to October 25/2010.

But first..... a map!
Always good to help understand where in the world, geographically speaking, all these happenings are taking place.

US is building an £8 billion super military base on the Pacific island of Guam in an attempt to contain China's military build-up.

They are not thinking about building, they are building right now as I type this. And they have been for sometime. The inhabitants of Guam are less then happy, for a number of reasons, but no matter to the US they are infinitely more concerned with containing China.

The expansion will include a dock for a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, a missile defence system, live-fire training sites and the expansion of the island's airbase. It will be the largest investment in a military base in the western Pacific since the Second World War, and the biggest spend on naval infrastructure in decades.

And let's talk about the missile briefly, shall we?

The missile off the coast of California. Why would China take such a risk?
Something that would be interpreted as a direct challenge to the US?
Particularly considering China lacks Naval supremecy.

"Experts agree China does not currently have the capability to challenge US supremacy in the Pacific and Indian Ocean. "China has a large appetite", says Carl Ungerer, an analyst at Australian Strategic Policy Institute, "but it hasn't got enough teeth".

As for the concerns of the people...

This (base building) could trigger serious water shortages. The EPA said that dredging the harbour to allow an aircraft carrier to berth would damage 71 acres of pristine coral reefs.

But that is not all. The US will move forces from Okinawa, where they are really unpopular, to Guam.

The island's population will rise by almost 50 per cent from its current 173,000 at the peak of construction. It will eventually house 19,000 Marines who will be relocated from the Japanese island of Okinawa, where the US force has become unpopular.

That couldn't have anything to do with the fact that the US soldiers are troublemakers and pedophile rapists....???

No really, it couldn't. The fact is the US needs the soldiers in Guam. They really don't care and have never cared about the atrocious behaviour of the soldiers

Guam is not alone in the build-up!

The US is also investing another £126 million on upgrading infrastructure at the British-owned Indian Ocean atoll of Diego Garcia, 700 miles south of Sri Lanka.

Always money for war

With war and super bases comes of course the necessity for a steady supply of oil.
And the US has already got a secure supply for the Guam base.
A very interesting article, but curious in the way it was written- steering well away from the facts into some irrelevant historical references, unless one is promoting a specific agenda?

Guam, US Territory – Businessman Ricky Delgado scored another business coup with the entry of Japanese conglomerate Itochu Petroleum into Ricky’s IP&E or Isla Petroleum and Energy. IP&E is currently one of the major suppliers of petroleum in the island of Guam and Saipan. By the year 2014, when the US military base in Okinawa will be relocated to Guam, IP&E will be the biggest supplier of petroleum for the US Armed Forces

. The Japanese conglomerate bought a 25 percent stake in the company for an undisclosed amount. Jose Ricardo Delgado Jr., Ricky’s namesake and son who runs IP&E, told us the Japanese equity will boost the company’s funding for future expansion plans possibly from the Philippines all the way to Hawaii. Another Guam-based Delgado company IT&E, a telecoms firm, recently obtained an $8 million grant to expand its broadband capabilities which includes the replacement of existing inter-island services and the use of 3G wireless and Wi-Max technology within the CNMI (Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands) and Guam.

Who is this Ricky Delgado? This is where the article get's strange.

Ricky Delgado traces his roots to Valladolid, Spain where the Delgado family first started. According to him, their ancestors come from Spanish-Jewish descent, which probably explains some of Ricky’s business skills in identifying business opportunities. The Jewish people are probably among the most resilient of races considering the persecution they received from Valladolid-born Tomas de Torquemada who instituted the persecution of Jews and non-Catholics through the infamous Inquisition, and then later from Adolf Hitler who authored the Holocaust, which systematically purged six million Jews all over Europe.

I also wonder at this sentence from the article linked above-

Ricky’s venture in Guam started in 2001 when the family-owned Citadel Holdings along with a partner tried to purchase Verizon’s Guam franchise
