It will increase cancer, leukemia and other diseases, globally.
It will increase birth defects, globally.
Despite those realities, the main stream media and other powerful institutions give us all - spin.
The constant comparisons to Chernobyl. What is the point?
We have the talking heads assuring us this is no Chernobyl.
So I will tell you right now, to quote the words of my wise husband, this is not Chernobyl, it is Fukushima.
This is not one power plant-Chernobyl
It is FOUR nuclear reactors-Fukushima
This is not happening in a sparsely populated area.(Chernobyl)
This is taking place in an area that is densely populated.(Fukushima)
No MOX at Chernobyl!
MOX Fuel involved at Fukushima
Just one of the 4 plants at Fukushima, involved in varying stages of meltdown, that had an explosion is a MOX fuel plant. PLUTONIUM.
In fact a MOX reactor has never, ever, been involved in a nuclear catastrophe. Except for now, at this present time, at Fukushima. What are the ramifications of that? Unknown.
And all the spent fuel rods. What about them? The talking heads don't go there. I notice they talk spent fuel pools. Spent fuel pools are on fire, spent fuels pools have dried out.
What is in those spent fuel pools? Tons and tons of spent fuel rods! How much has burnt up? Melted down? How much radiation went straight up into the atmosphere when the MOX plant blew up, taking with it all of it's spent fuel rods??
How about if the western main stream media talks about that?
So you know what, Fukushima is not Chernobyl.
It is worse. On every count. It is worse.
More plants, more spent fuel rods, plutonium. I mean for cripes sakes!
And you know what else, 33 days have passed, 33 days of steady radiation emissions, into the air, into the soil and into the ocean. 33 DAYS with no end in sight.
To give you just an example here is a breaking news story-
As for the spent fuel pool at reactor no. 1?
The radiation level 6 meters above the spent-fuel storage pool at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant was measured at 84 millisieverts per hour Tuesday. Normally, it's 0.1 microsievert
That is today my friends, today.
"It's quite an amount"
Tokyo Electric Power Co. was unsure whether the surge in radiation was being caused by the spent fuel rods or radioactive material leaking from the reactor's pressure vessel.
It just keeps on going and going...... is it the reactors, is it the spent fuel, is it all of it and they don't have a clue!?
