Debtocracy- Greece's "Debt Crisis"

I was reading a mainstream business author who was writing about the Greek debt crisis.
He mentioned that Greece "cooked" their books for admission to the EU.
He forgot to mention who the chefs were, of course!
But, I will mention them by name- GOLDMAN-SACHS.
He wrote of this documentary that has had views in the multi-millions, but called it a "conspiracy" documentary......
That is code for not the officially condoned, squeaky clean, dumbed down version of events.
You know the one spoon fed to the sheep headed willingly to slaughter?
I have been watching it. It is 75 minutes long, subtitled and so far worth the time.

Debtocracy-
"For the first time in Greece a documentary produced by the audience. “Debtocracy” seeks the causes of the debt crisis and proposes solutions, hidden by the government and the corporate media."

  1. Their conspiracy theory which does not mention Goldman Sachs or the banksters as being at fault.

The only real conspiracy theories going are from them.

  2. Who would have thought, recalling our own childhoods, that Russia would now be far more free than we are here.

They are far more sophisticated wrt propoganda than the average North American, they lived with so many lies for so long and now know very well when they are being screwed over. I can't see the Russian peoples ever giving up their hard earned rights as easily as we have here.

Looking forward to the film Penny, the BF and I will settle in to the really frikkin hot computer room later and watch it over some wine and :).

    Ciao ciao

  4. Interesting synchronicity Penny. I have been reading this;
    http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article28637.htm

Goldman Suxs managed to make a deal with the Greeks to kick their debt into the future and then they went on to bet against the debt.

    The Greek people have two options;
    Repudiate the debt
    Lubricate liberally

Sorry for being flippant as we know that submission to the IMF is a death sentence – literally for the real humans on the receiving end.

  5. "He wrote of this documentary that has had views in the multi-millions, but called it a "conspiracy" documentary......"

My goodness I'm sick and tired of hearing this ignorant fallacy. Immediately declare factual information presented to be a "conspiracy theory" and you instantly discredit what is being presented, at least to those of us lacking in the critical thinking department. It's just as old as the "anti-Semitic" canard. Luckily, both fallacies are being discredited and are losing their legitimacy.

    Hey Chucky,

    "The Greek people have two options;
    Repudiate the debt
    Lubricate liberally"

Lubricate liberally! Haha, good one!! Us Americans are getting ready for just that! But we better not say anything too conspiracy-sounding, we may look too radical in the eyes of the ignorant masses. It's a fucking shit show over here man.

I posted that brilliant video of the European revolution on my Facebook page the other day (I post a lot of stuff on my Facebook page), which I also posted on my blog if you don't know what I'm referring to, and one of my friends (an Obama supporter) told my he was worried about me, that I was sounding a "bit angry." Well fuckin' a right I'm angry! Haven't you noticed- our government is spending all of money we give them on killing innocent people around the world, Israel and the criminal bankers that wrecked our economy. Aren't you pissed about that?!?! The silence was deafening...

I think I'm finally starting cause some major cognitive dissonance with some of the brainwashed people of Facebook. Good, it's about damn time.

  6. If only the rest of the world had the balls that Icelanders do and would tell the international bankster gangster crowd to "Piss Off, you made the bets that busted, now YOU pay off. We refuse to sentence ourselves, our kids and grandkids to a lifetime of economic slavery."

What a beautiful world we could live in.

  8. Hey Buffy:

I hear ya on the sweltering, yesterday was absolutely unbearable!
Our old cat could hardly take it.
She looked a bit disoriented at one point in time...wobbly walking, poor thing.

A lot of folks were not working, the ministry of labour was actually ensuring that people were not being worked to death by the slave owners, I mean employers.

Some places around here were working 15 minutes on, 45 off, it was so dam hot and humid.

We were out and about, trying to find places to cool off, but, my god the heat was so bad, got more dizzy headed then usual ;)

So yes "blame the frikkin heat baby!!"

It makes one lethargic and kind of unambitious, hence the slower week in posts.

Plus it is like a drought here, no rain for weeks, our barrels are empty

" we are all headed in this direction aren't we."

    Yes, definitely yes

  9. chuckyman: I started to read that one, but, it is a bit longer then I had anticipated,

I see it is Andrew Gavin Marshall, a young man from BC, Canada.

I happen to enjoy his writing immensely so I will go back to it.

You may be interested in this interview, also about the Greek debt crisis with Max Keiser

    http://www.kpfa.org/archive/id/70900

"Global Insurrection Against Banker Occupation" with Max Keiser. Financial occupation of Greece; IMF Greek Memorandum; financial terrorism; controlled demolition of European economies; asset grab; lawsuits against bankers and government; Pirate My Film, including crowd funding and copyright free media; new European funding facility in the planning stage; global bank; coming housing collapse and banking disaster; devaluation of the dollar; the wild card."

had a listen to this the other day. it is typical max keiser, but, I like his "style" and helps to fill in and get a bigger picture of the situation in Greece

I am too! that is why when I saw that, I thought to myself, oh I really must check that out!
Because this so called business writer is so full of shit, scuse the language...
he is. My poor husband when I read this guys stuff. It just infuriates me! So I rail, not at my hubby, just at the bullshit that passes for "truth"

This same idiot wrote a piece about the bankers and the mortgage crisis that went like this
    I'll summarize-

"Being greedy is not a crime"

Disregarding the fact that all kinds of crimes were committed, this toady didn't even mention that, none of that.

Nothing of the fraudulent mortgages, nothing of the robosigning, nothing about MERS.
Nope, just being greedy is not a crime.

the author of this garbage is David Olive who propagates lies and massages truths for the toronto star.

I really must be a glutton for punishment

  11. Oh and John, nothing wrong with being angry, just use it in the right manner! Direct it correctly channel it, whatever.

I believe in anger management, not suppression.

Anyone who thinks people should not be angry, upset or plain pissed off about the economic situation is an idiot

  12. Greg, I love what you said so much
I am just going to repeat it!

"If only the rest of the world had the balls that Icelanders do and would tell the international bankster gangster crowd to "Piss Off, you made the bets that busted, now YOU pay off. We refuse to sentence ourselves, our kids and grandkids to a lifetime of economic slavery.

What a beautiful world we could live in."

    make that a mantra!

  14. John Friend:

I suggest going slower. Keep your status as an informed, intelligent and questioning person, and try to think of the most thought provoking tidbits you can give your aquaintancest o ponder, to help them break out of their mirage-prison.

I have learned the hard way that this is the better way, in that you can do the most good, and influence the most, by trying not to go too far into territory that makes the sheep utterly repel everything you have to say as heresey.

The mind is so powerful, and the power of rationalisation to cover up doubts and fears is incredible. Like nourishing back to life a man who is dying of thirst, one must give drops at a time at first, otherwise he will throw it up.
