Yesterday's news in the West, had headlines touting a win in Libya.
Yes, it was all sewn up!
Gadaffi was no where to be seen. His son's were captured or killed. Tripoli falls. Etc., etc., etc.,
Take your pick from the lies and what appears to be a concerted media campaign to mislead.
Propaganda. Perception Management. Whatever.
Here is some interesting news reports today, the media is backpedalling and trying to make excuses for the lies of yesterday.
Gadaffi's son, whom the rebels "claimed" was captured, looks quite free in the video.
Saif al-Islam- "My father is safe and in Tripoli… They (rebels) said they control Libya, they can't. Tripoli is under our control," he told reporters.
In this article there is an audio clip from a spokesperson from the International Criminal Court indicating there had been NO official confirmation of the arrest of Gadaffi's son
Give the audio a listen
UPDATE and apologies- the audio has been removed from the BBC page.
Here are two news stories that confirm the audio.
War crimes court had no confirmation of Seif al-Islam’s arrest
If I can find another copy of the audio I will repost it. If anyone else can find it let me know?
I am not surpised the BBC would remove it. Since the ICC's lack of confirmation makes a lie of the NATO claims made yesterday.
And ooops, Tripoli hasn't fallen
The BBC is reporting that the "Fog of War" caused the mistakes in the news out of Libya
It is hard to see through the fog of warfare?
Really? Because the Brits are not in full contact with the "rebels"
And the media isn't there spying and reporting back to their masters?
Yesterday was a propaganda ruse, clearly.
Rather then a reality, they created the unreality the situation.
Inadvertently the main stream media lay bare the fabricated world we live in daily.
Also- Rebels asks leaders of UK's Libyan Jews to run for office
Libyan Jews of the UK? Really?
As a reward for Israel's help in stirring up the trouble in Libya?
Thanks for the mercenaries?
"Raphael Luzon, the head of Jews of Libya UK, told The Jerusalem Post on Monday that opposition leader Mustafa Abdul Jalil recently invited him to return to his country of birth and participate in the political discourse."
He hasn't lived there since 1967. Are there not enough Libyans residing within the nation of Libya that can participate in a government there? Of course their is!
"If he were to return to Libya, Luzon said the reconstruction of the war-torn country and the restitution of Jewish assets which were confiscated by the Libyan regime to their rightful owners would top his political agenda.
“As you know we left there 82 synagogues, land and property and I would like to take care of this because it belongs to the Jewish community of Libya,” he said."
I wonder about this? Is he going to take care of the land, property and mosques confiscated by the Israeli government also. Return all that to the Palestinian community?
