This isn't the first time either. I have lost count of how many Pro -Assad mass protests there have been. I have covered them previously.
Here are some pictures from the latest-
This outburst of support came after the Arab league moved to push Syria out, at the behest of the western masters of course.

From the BBC
Curious about something?
Did the BBC intentionally muddy the photo?
Also "Jon Leyne, reporting from Cairo, says it is unclear how many of the protesters are there of their own volition.
How brazen! Realistically speaking how could anyone force million of people into the street. It is simply not possible in terms of manpower.
The above sentence was placed at the beginning to create a perception in the mind of the reader. Just another way the media manipulates perception.
Video footage of the pro-assad anti/west manipulation supporters
Good for the people on the street! In the first minute the woman from Syria calls it like it is!
As I have followed along with the Syrian situation for months now I have never seen any "anti-regime" (western puppet backed protests) come as close to this protest, or any of the other real Pro- Syrian gatherings in sheer size and numbers.
What they have been is more appropriately compared to armed insurrections and acts of violence and destruction.
Here is another video that the main stream manipulators haven't shared.
With thanks to Felix!
No nation is without problems. No nations have citizens without grievances.
But intervention (western backed-tyranny-debt enslavement) such as the type that happened in Libya, in Iraq, in Afghanistan is not the answer for the vast majority of citizens of any nations.
There was a recent news story regarding Iraq that should make this very clear-
Since the attack on Iraq and subsequent destruction of that nation- many Iraqi women have been forced into sex slavery- not just women, children as young as 10 or 12 years old
All news outlets were very careful in their wording- not to put the blame where it belongs.
The blame belongs squarely on the shoulders of the US, Israel and all the other nations that encouraged, manipulated, participated and lied to justify the attack on Iraq.
Had there been no war there would have been no poverty, no confusion and no lawlessness.
The misery for these women and children directly resulted from the attack on Iraq by western nations. The exploitation of these individuals parallels the exploitation of the nation.
This is Libya's future now. This will be Syria's future.
For the vast majority things will get worse.

In the chaos of war and the confusion, lawlessness and poverty that followed, an untold number have become victims of sexual traffickers, some within Iraq and others sold over the borders.

It really amazes me the persistance of the West in addition to their puppet Arab countries which have all turned a blind eye on Syria.
ReplyDeleteDespite all that, Syria has been one of the biggest contributors in terms of aid, monetary funding and sending of arms to Palestine throughout all these years and it did not think twice when it came to voting Syria out during the Arab League Meeting.
They talk about human rights but ignore to see that there are a vast amount of armed 'gangs' who are being funded to ruin the country and destabilise it as has previously happened with Libya. Syrian people have seen what has happened in the region and will settle for Assad if it means not being raped or oppressed by the American forces/Muslim Brotherhood.
I support Assad all the way, I have seen the country and lived there for a while and he is doing a great job! By the way thanks for this site!

such an important observation Pen. it is really a reflection of the RACISM that people have which allows them to assume that it is ok to interfere, necessary to interfere, etc.
those people in Syria look perfectly capable to me.
And further to A.Peasant's point,
ReplyDeleteany of the major supposed "threats" to world peace have all been either egged on or supplied by the US arms trade. Stop that, and suddenly, these dictators (not Syria, but elsewhere) don't have the hold over people that many do now.
Of course, that means not killing people, same as economic/trade threats to rein in a tyrant, which can be just as powerful. Again though . . . too peaceful.
This Syria thing is just the opening act to Iran, and a WWIII scenario. Not that this is a revelation to you Pen or anyone else, but . . . the continuing US and European intervention in Syria is going to eventually provoke a reaction from Iran. And guaranteed, JUST before that point, Israel attacks/provokes it further, to goad the nation and others into action.
It feels like a slo-mo movie sequence where we just know what is going to happen.
"A 5.6-magnitude earthquake has killed at least seven people in eastern Turkey, and trapped many more under collapsed buildings.
ReplyDeleteAbout 20 buildings have collapsed, including a six-storey hotel in the city of Van, where dozens of aid workers and journalists were staying.
The quake late on Wednesday was centred 16km (10 miles) south of Van"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-15668071
Noticed this in the earthquake report.
Van is in the east overlooking the borders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Syria , Iraq and Iran.
Aid workers and journalists!!
cheers

ReplyDeleteJust look at the ANC government in RSA and the back stab of Ghaddafi. Zuma and his cronies are no different then the Abbas and his cronies. My worry is really Iran, what is their strategy when it comes to this crisis. What is Ayatollah Khamenei up to?
Hi Penny, great coverage. (I don't mean the BBC which continues to plumb the depths of corrupt reporting!)yes, all those tens of thousands of Assad supporters were clearly forced into the square against their will - some logistical exercise! Here in the UK we are bombarded with stuff about how many hundreds of people have been killed by tanks in Syria....I tried to find some YouTube video footage of it but failed. I did see some charred bodies (just like in Libya)

Videos like these have no context

but the world's media will use them for their own end. If you want to see some fakery, look here...

the usual blurring says it all really.

ReplyDelete"They talk about human rights but ignore to see that there are a vast amount of armed 'gangs' who are being funded to ruin the country and destabilise it as has previously happened with Libya. "
yeah, they TALK about human rights, emphasis on talk, because that is the smokescreen that soothes the masses
It allows western masses, with their superiority complexes firmly intact to "feel good" about military interventions..
It is a sick game
" I have seen the country and lived there for a while and he is doing a great job!"
A bit of an insider take. Nice.
And btw you are most welcome, thanks for stopping by
Hey NYS!
ReplyDeletethanks for the links
I have heard the "laptop" is being dredged up, again and again and again... I think somewhere on the blog I have some older posts on what a joke the laptop of mass destruction really is
If I find time, I will have to go way back and see if it can be located
Hey AP!
ReplyDelete"it is really a reflection of the RACISM that people have which allows them to assume that it is ok to interfere, necessary to interfere, etc."
Oh yes, most definitely, racism plays a big role in the acquiescence of the masses to these types of military crusades.
And I chose crusades intentionally to evoke the religious aspect of it also
Hey slozo
ReplyDeleteYes, I have firmly believed all along that Syria is the opening act to the eventual attack on Iran.
Will playing the Syrian card provoke Iran?
Possibly?
I am still keeping my eyes on Russia and China.
I have some serious doubts that either nation wants the NATO nations ensconced in Iran.
It is a wait and see kind of thing definitely.
With a bad ending for a great many innocent humans
Aferrismoon;
ReplyDeleteIsn't that interesting about all the earthquakes and their sudden timely appearances......
Is there fracking going on in the midst of all this?
Or something else?
Coincidences, coincidences......
But then I am not a coincidence theorist

ReplyDelete" My worry is really Iran, what is their strategy when it comes to this crisis. "
I haven't been following the Iranian angle as much as could be done for lack of time...
If anyone else has entertained some thoughts on the Iranian angle /response, to the crisis being created in Syria, share them please.
Hey Felix
ReplyDeleteYeah the BBC has been the media outlet I have plumbed the depths for some of the most brazen propaganda on the Syrian situation
They gave us all the infamous ghost fighters
Fudged photos
Fantastic opening statements from some person in Egypt
Probably even more then what I can recall off the top of my head
"Here in the UK we are bombarded with stuff about how many hundreds of people have been killed by tanks in Syria"
It's not just in the UK, it is in the US, in Canada, in Australia
It is everywhere...
I will check out the links
and yeah, the blurring?
Can the obfuscation be any more obvious?
Why don't people realize that?
