Patraeus "resigns"? Israel strikes Syria- a direct hit and more

Some stuff I wanted to get to over the week-end, but, it was not possible
Patraeus’ “resignation”- An affair? As if !!

More likely Benghazi and the death/murder/assassination of Ambassador Stevens
“But the timing of Petraeus’ resignation becomes more interesting once one learns that that he was scheduled to testify under oath next week before power House and Senate committees regarding the Benghazi consulate.”

Will he still testify? Or, now that he has “resigned”, can he walk away from the mess that the  US/CIA was involved with in Benghazi??

Freethinker left a link to the interview with Bashar Assad. Hope you watched it. If not see below. Thanks Freethinker!

RT:  Why has Turkey, which you call a friendly nation, become a foothold for the opposition?
BA: Not Turkey, but only Erdogan’s government in order to be precise. Turkish people need good relations with the Syrian people. Erdogan thinks that if Muslim Brotherhood takes over in the region and especially in Syria, he can guarantee his political future, this is one reason. The other reason, he personally thinks that he is the new sultan of the Ottoman and he can control the region as it was during the Ottoman Empire under a new umbrella. In his heart he thinks he is a caliph. These are the main two reasons for him to shift his policy from zero problems to zero friends.

RT:  There has been many times…not you but the government forces have been accused for many times of war crimes against your own civilians, do you accept that the government forces have committed war crimes against their own civilians?
BA: The second point, if you have an army that committed a crime against its own people, this is devoid of logic because the Syrian Army is made up of Syrian people. If you want to commit a crime against your people, then the army will divide, will disintegrate. So, you cannot have a strong army while you are killing your people. Third, the army cannot withstand for twenty months in these difficult circumstances without having the embrace of the public in Syria. So, how could you have this embracement while you are killing your people?! This is a contradiction. So, this is the answer.

Another interview that compliments the one above.
From Guns and Butter

"US/NATO Humanitarian Intervention In Syria: Toward A Regional War?" with Michel Chossudovsky. What the destabilization of Syria is really about; Responsibility To Protect (R2P); violence in Syria; the rebels, who they are, who supports and trains them and where; Free Syrian Army; role of the United Nations; Islamization of the Middle East as an intelligence operation; role of Israel; effect of sanctions; media disinformation.

Though this is an encore presentation, it is still very, very relevant.

In “response” to mortar fire, Israel has fired on Syria. Thanks anonymous!

You may recall me making mention of this chicanery in an earlier post?

The chicanery continues :Israel reports 'direct hit' on target in Syria, stoking fear of widening conflict

An Israeli tank struck a Syrian army vehicle Monday.
On Sunday, Israel fired a "warning shot" into Syria in response to the shelling.
Two consecutive days Israel has struck Syria...... Turkey redux.
What will tomorrow bring?

  1. quite short on time today,
    keep on commenting
    I will be back

  2. hmmmmmm

  3. any update on this from august
PARIS (Reuters) - A retired air force colonel who served under the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has disappeared from a Paris military hospital and relatives fear he may have been abducted or worse, a lawyer for the family said on Thursday.

Police are searching for Abdusalam Aboudajaja, 68, who vanished from the Val-de-Grace hospital on August 6 wearing his hospital pyjamas, lawyer Francois Gibault told Reuters.

"It's very odd," Gibault said. "We fear the worst. He could be lost, he could have been taken, or killed, we have no information. He doesn't speak French, he doesn't have any money and he doesn't have a credit card."

An appeal for witnesses has been launched, he added.

Since the toppling of Gaddafi, Libya's government has struggled to control armed groups inside the country who have often taken the law into their own hands and families of former Gaddafi loyalists have expressed concern about the safety of their relatives outside of Libya as well.

Aboudajaja was in France with his wife and son undergoing medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment on a trip authorized by Libya's new government.

But while in France he suffered brain damage and was transferred in July to the military hospital, Gibault said.

Aboudajaja's son told the daily Liberation newspaper that his father had served for thirty years in the air force of Gaddafi, who was killed last October during a NATO-backed rebel uprising.

Aboudajaja, who retired in 1998, transported military cargo such as "suitcases of banknotes and atomic things, radioactive material for the nuclear industry" to countries such as Iran, Chad, Rwanda, Nicaragua, Lebanon and Syria, his son told the newspaper.

A relative of Aboudajaja said the hospital had at first said it had no trace of him leaving the premises but had later shown him CCTV footage of him walking out of a main door alone dressed in his pyjama top and beige trousers.

Val-de-Grace, which refused to comment on the matter, first told his family that the patient was in a radiology session when they discovered his room empty on August 6, Gibault said.

Gibault said he had not been allowed to view the hospital's file on the incident.

Police did not immediately return a call seeking further details.

Last month, officials in Vienna ruled out foul play in the drowning death of Gaddafi's former oil chief, Shokri Ghanem, whose family had accused enemies of killing him because he knew too much.

  4. Here is the live presentation at her (Broadwell's) Alma Mater connected to her book release.

I believe the stand down order came from Obama to let the 4 Americans die without reinforcement from the Seals because he didn't want the clandestine CIA torture facilities and transport of mercenaries to Syria to be exposed.

Petraeus laid the blame where it belonged (on Obama) and he was forced to resign. The honeytrap is maybe true but is a demonization of Petraeus in preparation for him to be the fall guy.

The Seal commander's report is consistent with the CIA being told by Obama to let the 4 Americans become collateral damage.

Seal Commander: 'I gave the order to our Seals to go to the rescue - but my order was overruled and so no help was sent. I was relieved of my authority.'

Petraeus: 'No one in the CIA gave the order to stand down.'

Broadwell: 'It is unfortunate the whole (Benghazi) situation got politicized - it is political hunting season (i.e. a few days before a media tagged dead-heat election).'

  5. Aboudajaja, who retired in 1998, transported military cargo such as "suitcases of banknotes and atomic things, radioactive material for the nuclear industry" to countries such as Iran, Chad, Rwanda, Nicaragua, Lebanon and Syria, his son told the newspaper.

Iran and Libya??? Seems the Zionist are at play again.

  6. Facebook bans Greece's Golden Dawn party:

This is after Wordpress banned the party from using its services earlier this year and took the party's website down:

Anonymous has also attacked the new Golden Dawn website:

This is why I don't trust Facebook for my news.

  7. Paula Broadwell claims attack on Benghazi "annex" was because it secretly held Libyan prisoners:

Was Obama's CIA engaging in torture in this facility?

  8. My own gut instinct on Paula Broadwell is to tread carefully with what she claims

It looks to me as if the downfall of Patraeus was concocted to take the heat off of the Obombin admin.

There affair came to light a year or more ago
She drew attention to it by sending threatening emails to someone else

    There could have been torture?
    It's possible
Most likely, the ambassador was offed to tidy up loose ends and clean up all the dirty dealings going on via the US and Libya's rebels particulary as it involved the destabilization of Syria and possibly more
    like drugs and arms deals
who knows this is after all the CIA
It always bothered me that rather then get the ambassador out he was 'locked' up for his own safety, then some loyal libyans rescued him, so when was he killed and who killed him

  9. Hi to all and thanks for the comments!!
anaughty mouser haven'tseen you around for a bit
and LVB, I missed you in the previous thread!!!
How are you? Good I hope?

  10. WWM:

FBI agents discovered Petraeus affair months ago

High-level officials at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Justice Department were notified in the late northern summer (some time ago judging by the headline) that FBI agents had uncovered what appeared to be an extramarital affair involving the director of the Central Intelligence Agency, David H. Petraeus, government officials said on Sunday.

But law enforcement officials did not notify anyone outside the FBI or the Justice Department until last week because the investigation was incomplete and initial concerns about possible security breaches, which would demand more immediate action, did not appear to be justified the officials said.

The new accounts of the events that led to Petraeus' sudden resignation on Friday shed light on the competing pressures facing FBI agents who recognised the high stakes of any investigation involving the CIA director but who were wary of exposing a private affair with no criminal or security implications.

The same Petraeus family friend confirmed on Sunday the identity of Kelley, whose complaint to the FBI about "harassing" emails, eventually traced to Broadwell, set the initial investigation in motion several months ago.

Broadwell appears to be the cause of all this commotion, as if through her actions, this affair had to come to light, Petraeus 'resigned' and walks away from the assassination of the Ambassador.
No criminal or security breaches. No concerns and yet..

  11. Who knows what's going on with Petraeus.

Maybe they were practicing his questioning and discovered he's a horrible actor or his conditioning has gone astray and they are worried he'll collapse again under questioning:
