The EU's "peace prize" sparks protest

I find myself a bit short of time. Bare with me, please?

The EU's "peace prize" sparks protest, for the obvious reason that it is as much a farce as Obomba's peace prize

Around 1,000 people have marched through Oslo to protest against the award of the Nobel Peace Prize to the European Union.

Fifty organisations held the torch-lit march on the eve of the award.

They say the EU is "undemocratic" and maintains a large military even during an economic downturn.

A similar protest was also held outside the offices of the European Parliament in Dublin this evening.

Of course it is undemocratic, it was designed to be.
