Purim Costumes on Parade: Twin Towers

Freethinker brought this article & the provocative pic from Ynet news to my attention
Thanks freethinker!
Lets walk through this Purim article and note the very different presentations.
One for foreign consumption, the other for domestic.

 Ynet news:,7340,L-4348121,00.html
An article about Purim. How do I know, since this is not in English.
Obviously, I put it through the translate function of Google, which results in this:

Including a "Google Error" stating that this page is available in English
( If anyone can do screen shots, feel free. I am not that technical)
And the article is available in English. That is correct.
However there is quite a difference between the images of Purim costumes on parade, presented in the two articles.
Here is the English link and a link to the Israeli version of this Purim holiday coverage

Ileana and Nehorai 7 people dressed up as the twin towers (Photo: Bad Beaton)

The Israeli article has this costume on parade.
Is this an appropriate celebratory costume for Purim?
I don't know. I don't celebrate Purim.
Is Purim a celebration of death? Judging by the 'costumes' these children are dressed in it would seem so.

I understand Bibi Netanyahu was pleased with  9/11
Netanyahu says 9/11 terror attacks good for Israel
"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."
Taking into consideration all the benefits that accrued to Israel because of 9/11 as suggested by Mr Netanyahu, it would seem the two towers under attack could be construed as something celebratory in Israeli society.
Others may feel differently

Hi Pen,
Richard Edmondson has a very good article about Purim here
Thanks for the heads-up James! It was a good read. Thanks, also to Richard for taking the time to write a very informative article

BTW: don't forget my two earlier posts, it was a busy day ;)

Abdication of the Pope, Phrophecy and Usary in Christendom

Are the US and Russia bridging the divide on Syria?

  1. These kids won a contest that was for the worst taste costume for Purim. I imagine the parents thought it was a funny idea, all those gentiles dying ~ to remember this on Purim the blood feast held for Queen Esther the honeypot responsible for the death of 75000 Persians. Hence the call for the destruction of Iran)

The feast includes food shaped like the ears of the enemy and all Hews are told to get so drunk they cannot tell the difference between good and evil. Kids are encouraged to smoke cigarettes on that day as well.

As with Halloween although there is family stuff, the adult stuff has become a sleazy drunken porn fest in which women are expected to dress skimpy.

    1. Hi Pen,
Richard Edmondson has a very good article about Purim here

    2. Hi Noor

Yes, it does seem to fit into the general them of the 'holiday'
      Holy day?

    3. Thanks James
I added Richards article to the post, it was indeed a good read

  2. A Purim story from last year- Netanyahu gives Obama the Book of Esther. Biblical parable for nuclear Iran? which tells the story of Esther. So for the Jews its a celebration of how they outsmarted the Persians and got their revenge and to the Persians it's a tale of deception and the slaughter of 75,000 Persians.

To me this twin-towers costume looks like a celebration of an Israeli victory, by deception, on 9-11. Purim isn't just a bad-taste party, the costumes have a meaning.

    1. freethinker: from the CSM article

"Did this 2,500-year-old tale of double-dealing and deceit, set in the old Persian Empire, really happen? "

Of course it didn't! I mean goodness, when are people going to stop taking this crap literally

    2. All of these so called 'holy books' were written with politicking in mind
      Manipulation and worse

  3. oh and one last thought
how much coverage would this story get on the msm if this had been arabs dressing their children as the twin towers under attack???

  4. While doing some research, I ran across the White House web page dedicated to Jewish interests. Hmmm... Thought the Pentagon, DOJ and the Treasury Department handled that, but the page has some interesting stuff, for those with a strong stomach.

    1. Thanks Greg

      I will check that out

  5. The costumes betray the total preening arrogance of a true terror state. From a nation state that dresses up as perpetual victims, it appears they foster a cult-ure that revels in the degradation and mocking of others they have been indoctrinated to feel superior to. joyous, dancing Israelis taken into custody near the 9/11 crime scene says it all. A better costume would have been one of them to dress as Dick Cheney in a bridal gown, and the other as Netanyahu as the groom.

Penny, when you get a moment you might find this YouTube video I found intriguing.

Tunisian Ex-Jihadist Tells Tunisian TV Why He Stopped Fighting Alongside the FSA in Syria

It concerns a Tunisian mercenary who deserted the FSA in Syria. He confesses how the operation is being staged out of Turkey with the assistance of intel-sponsored cut-outs. He has some very interesting details on other behind-the-scenes machinations.

    1. HHQ:

"From a nation state that dresses up as perpetual victims, it appears they foster a cult-ure that revels in the degradation and mocking of others they have been indoctrinated to feel superior to"

Well said. It does appear that way. The perpetual victims, for time immemorial...
mocking the incident that resulted in the deaths of many ordinary people

But then I have seen picture of the Israelis going to watch the attacks of the IDF on the Palestinians and also at Golan where they go to watch Syrians being killed by NATO's goons

It seems they take some kind of perverted pleasure out of that kind of stuff
      Atrocious, really

  6. After 15 years of research, the US government may be well on its way to control people’s minds, as American scientist report they have discovered a way to transmit information from one brain to another via Internet and control the thoughts of test subjects.
During a lab test, a group of scientists allegedly captured the thoughts of a rat in Brazil and transmitted them via Internet to the brain of a rat in the US.

    1. Thanks Anon

I saw that news yesterday, so am glad you mentioned it

My hubby showed it to me and said facetiously
"why would they be doing this type of research"
Of course I said, "think of the borg"
      The hive
      The ultimate control of humanity...
We are like frogs in the pot- the heat keeps turning higher and we are not jumping out
OK, not me I jumped out long ago and am rejecting any sort of movement which sees my brain interlinked to some computer
      forget about it
However the younger people are heavily connected to their electronic devices and we see this as novel
      I see it as terrifying

    2. IMHO it's intended to scare you-Stockholm syndrome(if you like).

But it's simply not possible. A bit like walking on the moon in the 60's with computer technology akin to Coleco-Vision or Atari....

  7. I have been thinking about this whole narrative from the "Book of Esther" that has nothing to do with God at all.....
The narrative is very familiar. It is the war on terror narrative. Take it to them before they bring it to us

If we take the Purim story at it's face value?
Then we must face the reality that nothing was actually done to the followers of Judaism in the narrative of Purim
There is an alleged plot against a group of people.
The premise is hearsay. (Information received from other people that cannot be adequately substantiated; rumor.)
This hearsay/rumour of an alleged plot, is then used as the justification for mass slaughter of other peoples
This is the war on terror narrative.
It is obviously an old narrative. Maybe even an ancient narrative.
It has worked in the past, it works presently and might work in the future if people can't break out of the mind control/perception management indoctrinated mind set

    Mind Control, magic and spelling.

  8. From PressTV- Israel celebrates successful 9/11 operation on Purim holiday

"For more than eleven years, Israel has been wildly celebrating the success of its 9/11 operation against the United States of America. The latest example: Israeli children recently dressed up as the burning Twin Towers, complete with impaled exploding airplanes, to celebrate the bizarre Jewish holiday known as Purim.

Purim exalts and commemorates an ancient operation very much like 9/11. It glorifies the deceptions of Esther, who concealed her Jewish identity to seduce the King of Persia, then slyly tricked him into slaughtering 75,000 people deemed “enemies of the Jews.”

Exactly. It's not about fancy dress or bad-taste.

    1. Thanks Freethinker

      An interesting read, indeed.

That appears to tie in nicely IMO with nothing actually being done to the followers of Judaism, just a rumour and then a slaughter visited upon innocents

      A familiar narrative

    2. I should have included the 3rd paragraph also to make the point complete, but please read the whole article at source -

"In other words, Purim celebrates Jews lying, secretly penetrating the highest levels of government, and manipulating the leaders of an empire into mass-murdering perceived “enemies of the Jewish people.” That is exactly what the neoconservative Likudnik extremists - Wolfowitz, Perle, Libby, and the rest - did on September 11th, 2001. The only difference is that these modern, neocon Esthers would eventually kill millions of innocent people, not just 75,000."

  9. you said
    freethinker: from the CSM article

"Did this 2,500-year-old tale of double-dealing and deceit, set in the old Persian Empire, really happen? "

Of course it didn't! I mean goodness, when are people going to stop taking this crap literally

This event did occur in Persian history and can be verified by Iranian as well as Judaic Historians. Kevin Barrett has just written an article on this subject
Many many more articles throughout the website on this ugly subject. In fact most of the so called 'religious' Judaic celebrations[Hanuukah, Yom Kippur, Purim etc], have nohing to do with the worship of God and His Prophet Moses, but ALL to do with events amongs their 'Tribe/Clan' involving REVENGE taken on all their enemies- even upto modern times against the 'Amaleks' . Their Rosh Hashannah is also about cleansing the Judaics of all their past sins as they start a New Year, with all their previous sins absolved by their g-d,Yahweh

So,Why is it crap? why is it hard to believe that the Judaics could be so vindictive, so vengeful, so deceptive as they have been like this since the time of Christ:

Jesus said [to the Jews]: "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a mur-derer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8:43-44

      Second attempt at being concise
      Will I succeed?
I will give it my best

      -Thanks for your comment.
Freethinker left the very article you are referencing.
      I went and read it.
I apologize for being imprecise in my comment.
If this event actually occurred and has historic references then I do stand corrected.

But, I do not personally view the bible as historical fact.
      Old or New Testament.
I hope that does not cause you offense?
That is just my own opinion.

"why is it hard to believe that the Judaics could be so vindictive"

I am not suggesting they are not capable of being extremely vindictive nor do I find it difficult to believe.

Just using their activity in the ME as an indicator demonstrates the extremes of vindictiveness the followers of Judaism are capable of.

I can also use the activities and comments of the Judaic troll that insists on keeping watch on this blog & every comment made here as a real life example of extreme vindictiveness, stooping to a level of filth and viciousness that I have never before experienced personally.

I don't know all the ins and outs of the various Judaic holi-days, except now Purim and Hanuukah has something to do with soldiers and lamp oil
A 'holy day' that seems strangely defined as such

That which is a holy day to me would equate to something much more humane, inspirational and uplifting. It would not revolve around killing innocents and battles

For me a holy day would be equated with planting a garden, bringing forth life from the soil
Walking in the woods on a day long hike. Feeding the birds. Helping a neighbour.
      These are my holy days

Did I make things worse or more clear?
      Hopefully more clear :)

  10. It so happens Purim coincides with the Chinese New Year Celebration of the 1st New Moon. [I think both cultures follow the Lunar Calendar.]

It has connections to love.Young Chinese people will wish that they will find the right partner more than anything else.

If there is any connection to this celebration to 'love' on the same Lunar date, then Purim as in the book of Ester cannot be true. Time for the Jews to follow the Chinese.
