Britain considers airstrikes on Iraq-pushing R2P as the selling point

So much for  the US alone. So much for limited time. So much for limited area.

Britain considers air strikes to avert genocide in Iraq

-Britain could join America in launching military strikes
-US forces began raids against fighters in northern Iraq on Friday after Barack Obama pledged to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe.
- But it is understood British forces could also take part in attacks if the situation in Iraq deteriorates

Who decides if the situation is deteriorating? The perpetual war mongers? The mass killing machine?

- It is understood that there has been significant contact between British and American national security teams. The White House said that there was no specific end date for the military action, leaving open the possibility that the mission could broaden.

Look at the name that appears anon and everyone else?

Vallares Plc, the investment vehicle led by BP Plc (BP/)’s former Chief Executive Officer Tony Hayward, will merge with Turkey’s Genel Energy International Ltd. in a $2.1 billion deal to gain oil fields in Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
"Vallares, a so-called “blank check” company founded by Hayward, financier Nathaniel Rothschild and banker Julian Metherell, raised 1.35 billion pounds ($2.2 billion) from investors in June.

You have piqued my interest- bankers and oil; oil and bankers

I am less familiar with Marc Rich- Have heard the name, but, only in passing

    Boiling Frogs indeed...

The US President is on the verge of a mental breakdown: He’s a liar of Munchausen proportions with a bad case of political paranoia, war hysteria and megalomania. He’s gone amok, braying, ‘I lead the world: its US leadership or chaos’. Increasingly the world has another message: ‘It’s the US and chaos.’

U.S. Airstrikes against IS in Iraq Part of War on Baghdad

Christof Lehmann (nsnbc) : The U.S. Air Force carried out air strikes against artillery positions of the Saudi – US – backed Islamic State (IS) who were targeting Kurdish forces near the city of Irbil. Ironically, the U.S. is targeting the IS not to defend but to destroy the nation-state Iraq.

    1. thank you anonymous

I have been saying exactly that, because that is exactly what it appears to be!

" Ironically, the U.S. is targeting the IS not to defend but to destroy the nation-state Iraq"

Using different language more along the lines of dealing the death blows to Iraq!
