Israel attacks Syria aiding their takfiri (Kurds and others) Netanyahu hints in advance

Lots of reading including, best for last, UNDOF confirming Israel supporting terrorists in Syria
Israel’s air force launched two raids inside Syria including the area of Damascus airport, the Assad government claimed on Sunday.
“The Israeli enemy attacked Syria by targeting two safe areas in Damascus province, namely the Dimas area and the area of Damascus International Airport,” state television announced.

There was no confirmation from Israel.

Israel struck two areas

-Damascus International Airport and a smaller airport used by the military near Dimas

“Dimas hosts a smaller, military-run airport which may have been the second target”

Head of Syrian Military relays facts regarding Israeli support of terrorists murdering Syrian civilians and destabilizing a nation
"This aggression confirms Israel directly supports terrorism in Syria, in addition to the known Western and regional countries, raising the morale of terrorist organizations, led by Jabhat al-Nusra, an arm of al-Qaida in the Levant, and ISIS," the head of the Syrian military said.

"The Israeli enemy committed aggression against Syria by targeting two safe areas in Damascus province, in all of Dimas and near the Damascus International Airport," state television said, adding that there were no casualties.

Israel refuses to comment.  They do not acknowledge or deny the attack.
"We traditionally do not comment on reports of this kind," a representative of the Israeli Defense Forces told RIA Novosti.

The office of the Israeli Prime Minister has also refused to comment on the issue
Yet? Netanyahu may have hinted at Syrian action right  before it took place.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu appears to have hinted at the reported strike against targets in Syria, several hours before it occurred, in a comment he made at the start of Sunday morning's cabinet meeting, as cameras rolled.
"We are following with great alacrity the goings on in the Middle East,” Netanyahu said – “with alert ears and watchful eyes. And much is going on. We will remain with our finger on the pulse and we will take care of these challenges, which do not take time off."
“We will take care of them with the same responsibility with which we took care of them until now,” he added.
Cryptic perhaps, but, it sure seems Netanyahu alluded to a taking of action on the part of Israel

Foreign Ministry addresses two identical messages to heads of UN, UNSC on Israeli aggression

Damascus, SANA – Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Sunday addressed two identical letters to the UN Secretary General and Chairman of the UN Security Council on the Israeli aggression on the Syrian soil.
The messages read that Israel has committed a heinous crime against the sovereignty of Syria as Israeli warplanes attacked two safe areas in al-Dimas and near Damascus International Airport in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage in a number of institutions there.
The Ministry stressed that the attack is in the framework of extending help and support to the armed terrorist groups in Syria, especially after the series of achievements made by the Syrian army in Deir Ezzor, Aleppo, Daraa and other areas.
The attack also aims at covering up the internal disputes in Israel through diverting the attention away from the collapse of the Israeli coalition government and the extremism of this government, embodied in its continued occupation of the Arab territories and violation of the international legitimacy and law in addition to UN Security Council’s resolutions, according to the Ministry.
The attack reflects the Israeli explicit involvement in supporting the armed terrorist groups in Syria, on top of which Jabhet al-Nusra, along with well-known regional and western countries.
The messages highlighted that such attacks will never dissuade Syria from countering terrorism with all its forms, types and tools on all the Syrian soil, warning against the repercussions of these attacks on the security and peace in the region and the world.
The Syrian government called for imposing deterring sanctions on Israel, which did not hide its policy in supporting terrorism, calling also for taking all procedures, in accordance with the UN Charter, to prevent Israel from repeating such attacks.

In turn, the General Command of the Army and Armed Forces said the Israeli enemy targeted two areas, al-Dimas and outskirts of Damascus International Airport, in Damascus Countryside, causing material damage to a number of institutions there.
The Army Command highlighted that such attacks, which aim at providing support to terrorists, will never dissuade the army from countering terrorism with all its forms, types and tools and on all the Syrian soil.

UNDOF confirms Israel aiding terrorists in Syria

Observers from the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) confirmed the growing coordination and standing cooperation between the Israeli enemy’s forces and terrorist organizations, documenting more facts confirming this.
A report made by the observers revealed details of ongoing communication between leaders of terrorist organizations in Syria and Israeli army officers and officials, saying that 59 meetings between the terrorist leaders – who are labeled as “opposition” by Syria’s enemies – and Israeli officers took place from March 2013 to May, and that during this same period 89 injured terrorists were transported to Israeli hospitals, and 19 of these terrorists were returned to Syria along with two bodies.
The report said that the relations between the two sides began in March 2013 (read further it's clear it began earlier then that) when the Israeli occupation authorities began treating injured terrorists in their hospitals, in addition to building a field hospital for them in the occupied Golan, with the report adding that observers witnessed several meetings between terrorist leaders and Israeli army forces between December 2013 and March 2014, in addition to witnessing the transportation of injured terrorists to Israeli hospitals following confrontations between the terrorists and the Syrian Arab Army.
It's odd that the March date is cited by UNDOF, when it was clear to me, from simply reading the news, that Israel was colluding with the terrorists:  I wrote about this topic as early as February 17/ 2013, without the benefit of being on the scene, following up with another post February 20/2013. It really was quite clear Israel was aiding and abetting the terrorists!

  1. Russia MIG goes down around Moscow Friday.

Today S400 being deployed and Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile systems, as well as the Kasta radar station..

Russia demands Israeli explanation for air strikes in Syria

    Another Saudi admin shakeup

  2. thanks- went and read the news items- wonder what happened with the migs?
It's interesting that contact was lost in the minutes before the crash?
was something wrong with the pilots?
    were the communications interfered with?
    I wonder?

  3. all of a sudden a change by actually calling the LEAGAL AND DEMOCRATICALLY elected Government of Syria a government NOT a regime. I hope this continues. As for Fake Isreal it needs to gone for good, and what land it stole from Palestine be given back every single cubic feet, to the point that Fake Isreal is either a size of a postage stamp or no longer existing. It has learnt much well from its master the United States(Satan) of America.

    1. Ziad was mistaken, as are you- my posts, my words, used here- have always called the Syrian government as such- because Ziad made an honest error- don't pile in and compound it.

All my previous posts on Syria at the blog are testimony to that fact

"A "truce" or a "freezing" of the conflict? Whichever label you want to give it, doesn't matter.
As I made quite clear to readers here, back in August, the truce has nothing to do with peace. It is not being done out of concern for the very war weary Syrian people. Some of the bravest people on this planet- No this truce/freezing of the conflict is being proposed so the NATO nations can undertake training their "Syrian Awakening" Councils to make easier their final strike on the Assad government and deal the final blow to Syria as they did to Iraq!"

Oh, how I wish people would really actually read what is written- Perhaps that could be my Christmas Wish?

  4. Hi penny,

Do you know if there is an international law against aiding the terrorists? They use the excuse of "oh, the occupied state treats people for humanitarian purposes".

    1. Hi Shoes!
I don't know specifically- I would suppose there are some laws regarding aiding terrorists?

But then you know what the spin is regarding the entire Syrian situation?
Israel would just claim they are aiding "democracy loving freedom fighters"
and we all know that is not true at all

  5. Does Israel shoot down any planes that gets closer to these "tents"?

    1. Not sure what you are referring to here shoes?
      Can you clarify?

    2. Sorry, I meant what is holding the Syrian airforce or artillery to flatten those tents that are close to the occupied settler's border?

    3. That's ok shoes
as for what is holding them back? I have no good answer for that.
I wouldn't even begin to guess at it :(
      Not much help, sorry
