It would be interesting to see the seconds leading up to the hit..

  3. Hi Penny:

Having been to Moscow and made a few inquiries about Putin's living and working situation while in the capital...I discovered that he almost always travels via helicopter now...due to severe traffic jams that are endemic to Moscow. The gridlock is legendary and he would never get where he's going if he used the highways. While on a boat excursion near the Kremlin, we saw two helicopters fly from the Kremlin grounds directly over us. I tried to take a photograph but my camera jammed...very unusal. There is a high end neighbourhood where the officials live. I don't know if Putin lives there while in Moscow (his home is now in Sochi). The streets are heavily treed boulevards with high hedges...you can't see any of the houses at all.

Given all that...the accident did look sketchy with the car going into the opposing lane. Car crashes are legendary methods of offing targets for assassination...witness poor Diana.

    1. Hi gc, was your camera a modern non film based machine? I'll wager a good old bog standard 1990s disposable job would have worked. BTW since we are allowed to see the CCTV, no Princess Diana moment here, we can conclude it is a low level background noise operation.
