Red Cross Says Aleppo Evacuation Complete- Syria's Army Takes Complete Control

Hopefully the door hit them on the way out!
I'm not waving Bana at you all- See below? That's most of what left Aleppo.

GENEVA: A week-long operation to evacuate tens of thousands of people from east Aleppo as well as two Shi’ite villages in Syria’s Idlib province is complete, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Thursday.
“All civilians who wished to be evacuated have been, as well as wounded and fighters,” ICRC spokeswoman Krista Armstrong said. The aid agency led the complex operation in snowy winter conditions with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
The Syrian army said it had retaken complete control of Aleppo on Thursday after the last rebel fighters were evacuated from the battered city, handing President Bashar al-Assad his biggest victory of the nearly six-year-old war.

  2. http://pennyforyourthoughts2.blogspot.ca/2016/12/russia-iranturkey-guarantors-of-moscow.html

“Iran, Russia and Turkey are ready to facilitate the drafting of an agreement, which is already being negotiated, between the Syrian government and the opposition, and to become its guarantors,“ the declaration read.

The ceasefire should be implemented in all parts of Syria, Lavrov’s Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavusoglu, said at the conference.

“Today we are talking about the ceasefire, and the ceasefire should be in all Syria,” he said, adding this shouldn’t apply to attacks on terrorist groups such as Islamic State or Al-Nusra Front (now rebranded as Jabhat Fateh al-Sham).

That bit of information, which at least has partial attribution, does not include Hezbollah

niqnaq's article doesn't contain any direct quotation from Çavusoglu at all-

I'm an absolute stickler for verification to the best of my ability.

However- if Turkey, Iran and Russia are going to be guarantors of some kind of a ceasefire agreement..... they may have made an agreement wrt Hezbollah.

    but, I do not know

  3. Syria has a long way to go given how much more territory is in various terrorist groups slimy hands. Hopefully the biggest blow will come from the new US administration if they recall their own battalions of terrorists and mercenaries. Even better if the US turns on them and eradicates them with Russia's help with the full force of the baddest military on the planet.
