"extremely concerned"

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is “extremely concerned” about reports that Syrian forces recently used chlorine gas as a weapon in attacks in the eastern Ghouta area of Syria, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said on Thursday.
While not ruling out military action, of course.

The latest unconfirmed attack came on Thursday, in the rebel-held town of Douma. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said three people suffered respiratory problems after a rocket attack.
A senior US official told AFP that military options against Damascus similar to those launched in April 2017 were always on the table and "always feasible."
Trump "hasn't excluded anything" in the bid to halt the programme, the official said.
"Using military force is something that is still considered."
I'm extremely concerned the US is looking for a pretext- Any pretext will do. As has been the case previously

  1. I don't think its a matter of pretext, because they probably have enough material to justify the attack. What they are doing is stretching time.

Russia wants closure because it cannot keep sustaining it economically, Iran wants Closure because of the same reasons, Turkey wants Closure because well, refugees.

America though.... Is training their "partners" and waiting for an opportunity.

We are just ending Chapter One: Killing Isis
the next Chapter, Chapter Two: Assad (probably)

      Hey Kaz:
Entirely possible the Assad take down, one way or another.
Remaking the region is still the agenda

  2. Noted when I posted the notice of your article "The U.S. was' extremely concerned' about the supposed use of chlorine gas in Iraq too, so much so that it blocked supplies needed for water treatment. That worked together with sanctions to kill thousands and thousands."
HR Bush set the stage. Search "The Secret Behind the Sanctions"
Water treatment was part of "Iraq Reconstruction" Funny how years went by without anything being accomplished except squandering of funds.

    1. Thank you for pointing that out opit!
It's a vile way to use water as a weapon against the Syrian people- Did you write this at your blog and if so is there a link I can check out?
