When 11 Becomes 12

In all the busy-ness of the past couple of weeks- The birth day of the blog was missed by a few days.

Yup- year 11 came and went and now year 12 has begun.

There are almost 4900 published posts here. It's an astonishing number to conceive of.
All the searching, reading and writing along with the learning over these many years.

Mr Fantasy- Traffic
cause we need a song :)

  1. Congratulations on 12 years of posting, Penny.

    1. thanks GC..:)
good to have you along for the ride

  2. Happy Anniversary, Penny! I'm exhausted just thinking about all the indepth works you've produced over the years. When I came back from my hiatus, you were the first blogger I thought of to get back in touch with, and I'm over here every day, even if I often don't say anything. Wishing you amazing health and energy for (at least) another 12 years! Sincerely ...

    1. hey gallier2

did you realize it's been that many years you've been around here?
      where does the time go?

    2. Yeah. I recently went back reading the stuff from that time about the Apollo stuff here and on nobody's blog and was surprised to see that my language skills were better at that time. I wouldn't be able to write so long comments any more. Looks like my stroke took a little bit more braincells than I thought.

As for the current affairs, looks like the yellow vest is starting to escalate. With the gouvernment wanting to use the army next saturday and introducing ever more dictatorial powers, media getting more and more desperate and unhinged. Yves Calvi (random pundit) calling for rounding up yellow vests in stadiums, some other asking for shooting of YV because the Fouquet's burnt down last week*. Yeah, things are not looking good here (I'm sure your media is not reporting much of it).

      * there's a lot of footage showing that the fire started because of smoke and teargas grenades thrown be the cops at hooligans who were indeed looting the place.

I'm so sorry to read that gallier2

      re: yellow vests

we have some in my city..

I did a post on Macron's move to ever more autocratic actions..

You're right North American media hasn't covered the yellow vest protests, much, if at all. I have to search to find information.

Sigh... don't know what to say about the sorry state of affairs :(
