Perhaps it is time to lock up the "sane" people?

After all, isn't it always the 'sane' ones that wage war, causing untold death and destruction? Hmm maybe we would have some peace if we locked the alleged 'sane' people up? Just a thought!

Mentally ill at risk of violent abuse
Mentally ill people living in the community are twice as likely as members of the general public to be the target of violent abuse.

AGAIN!

Mentally ill people living in the community are twice as likely as members of the general public to be the target of violent abuse.

As many as 16 per cent of patients with psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia and manic depression, were victims of violence in the past year, compared with just under 7 per cent of the general population.

These alarming findings were revealed in a study published last week by the Institute of Psychiatry in London. It is based on interviews with 708 patients with psychotic disorders living in four inner-city areas.

Dr Elizabeth Walsh, a senior lecturer at the Institute of Psychiatry, who carried out the research, said it showed only a small number of those with mental illness were dangerous. "We are always reading in the media about how people with severe mental illness are dangerous," she said. "We may see them as a risk but we are probably a greater risk to them."

Mentally ill unfairly portrayed as violent

  1. You are right Penny.

There has been fear-mongering above and beyond.

There isn't a shadow of a doubt that Li will never see freedom again outside a maximum security mental institution.

That said, it's still too bad the Vancouver Airport RCMP weren't on the scene.

  2. I read that Li will get a criminal record from this??

If he does, it is only because he is not ever coming out of the institution he is going into, making the issue of him having or not having one, moot anyway.

So what allegedly sane person, thinking of world leaders would you like to see locked up.

I'll start off with Georgie boy himself!

The only world leader who should not be taken out and shot outright is James Carter as he is the only one with so much as an ounce of integrity.

As for the others why waste a jail cell, a bullet is cheap, better yet a rope is reuseable and would add Sooo much more spectator appeal.

Oh and the word verification( meddness )It certainly has been that.
