Israel intercepts Aid Ship- Free Gaza

Breaking News:

Israeli navy takes control of activist ship to Gaza

"We are outraged, they just stole (pirated) our boat and kidnapped our people," said Greta Berlin, a representative of the movement in Cyprus.

"The last we heard from them was 'they are surrounding us, they are surrounding us', and then the phone line went dead."

Israel stops aid ship to Gaza

The Israeli navy has intercepted ( hijacked) an aid ship on its way to Gaza, pro-Palestinian activists say.

Members of the US-based Free Gaza Movement, who were on board the boat, said on Tuesday the Israeli navy threatened to open fire unless they turned the boat around.

Navy stops Free Gaza boat from reaching the Gaza Strip

The Israeli Navy stopped a Free Gaza boat ( filled with humanitarian aid) from reaching the Gaza Strip overnight Monday, activists said.

(thereby ensuring the death and misery of Gazans will increase)

One person on the boat said the navy threatened passengers that they would be shot at if they did not turn back.

The 21 human rights and solidarity workers, representing eleven different countries, set sail from Cyprus Monday morning for Gaza in yet another attempt to break the (inhumane) Israeli blockade of the Palestinian territory.

Coup in Honduras- Obama's first

Global Research has an interesting article about Honduras posted. It contains some interesting tidbits from the past. And a name that always precedes hell on earth for the people.
What name is that? None other then the grim reaper, John Negroponte.
Honduras is a nation that has been the victim of dictatorships and massive U.S. intervention during the past century, including several military invasions. The last major U.S. government intervention in Honduras occured during the 1980s, when the Reagain Administration funded death squads and paramilitaries to eliminate any potential “communist threats” in Central America."

Mr John Negroponte was U.S. Ambassador in Honduras at that time, and was responsible for directly funding and training Honduran death squads

It is also interesting to note- when the President of Honduras was kidnapped he requested the US condemn the coup, or it would indicate their complicity.
Strange request, no? Why would he think the US would even be involved?
Secondly the US has somewhat sort of condemned the coup, but not really....
It is a little sneaky and a little underhanded, but what the US seems to be doing is putting on just the right kind of show for the folks.

U.S. Condemns Honduran Coup - Still, Administration Steps Lightly

President Obama said yesterday that the military ouster of Honduran President Manuel Zelaya was illegal and could set a "terrible precedent," but Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said the United States government was holding off on formally branding it a coup, which would trigger a cutoff of millions of dollars in aid to the impoverished Central American country.

But the Obama administration has had cool relations with Zelaya, a close ally of Venezuela's anti-American president, Hugo Chávez. While U.S. officials say they continue to recognize Zelaya as president, they have not indicated they are willing to use the enormous U.S. clout in the country to force his return.

Asked whether it was a U.S. priority to see Zelaya reinstalled, Clinton said: "We haven't laid out any demands that we're insisting on, because we're working with others on behalf of our ultimate objectives."

John D. Negroponte, a former senior State Department official and ambassador to Honduras, said Clinton's remarks appeared to reflect U.S. reluctance to see Zelaya returned unconditionally to power.

So the US is not really saying it is a coup, and is still sending millions in 'aid' to Honduras.
Aid is never for the people, so who is this aid going to if not the democratic government of Honduras. Is it going to the military that conducted the overthrow? Clinton says "they are working with others, on behalf of OUR ultimate objectives" Who are the others? What are the ultimate objectives? Do the US objectives include the wishes of the Hondurans?
Negroponte acknowledges the reluctance to see him returned to power??

Coup in Honduras: Shades of the US backed Haiti overthrow

How much mainstream coverage is this garnering? Anyone? How about the Honduran people's protests? Are they getting mainstream media coverage?
Or is the mainstream still busy, dumbing the populace down with it's non-stop Michael Jackson coverage?

Here is the story:
Manuel Zelaya: arrested by soldiers, taken to Costa Rica

Military Coup in Honduras

A military coup has taken place in Honduras on Sunday, June 28, led by School of the Americas (SOA) graduate Romeo Vasquez. Members of the Honduran military surrounded the presidential palace and forced the democratically elected president, Manuel Zelaya, into custody. He was immediately flown to Costa Rica.

School of the America's graduate Romeo Vasquez, led the overthrow.
Hmmm, makes ya think America must have had a hand in this one.

Shades of the overthrow in Haiti??
Forcible regime change violates international law

Haiti's democratically elected President Aristide was removed from Haiti by the United States, and taken to by threat of force, his destination the Central African Republic. Forcible regime change violates the well-established principle that people should be able to choose their own government. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights recognizes self-determination as a human right, and specifies that all peoples have the right to "freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development." The United Nations Charter also prohibits the use of force "against ... [t]he political independence" of another state.

Ordinary Hondurans have taken it to the street!

Due to intermitant power outages and heavy rain, independent media within Honduras has had extreme difficulty transmitting news. This means that while there's been plenty of news in the mainstream media about the actions people with a lot of political power have been taking--from Chavez and the ALBA nations to the Organization of American States to the United States--there's been very little reported about what rank-and-file Hondurans have been doing to reverse the coup.

However, it is clear that Hondurans are resisting. People are taking the streets in Honduras despite incredibly hostile conditions created by the military.
Where is the condemnation from Obama???

This man holds a banner in support of a referendum for a new Constitution

So the soldier punches him!

Military has been coming down hard on the media

Is the US behind this overthrow? Were the constitutional changes being voted on in the referendum detrimental to wealthy powerful and foreign interests? Were the changes set to empower ordinary Hondurans?

How much weapons went to Somalia?

First it was all about the pirates, but, that news has gone away.
In a previous post (April 19th/09) regarding the pirates I speculated

"Just wondering if the big deal about the pirates is to sell a land invasion of Somalia to the western populace."

What with all that perceived lawlessness. It makes it that much easier.

Thursday it was revealed that the US had already sent weapons to Somalia, after an altered UN resolution was passed in May, with the weapons arriving sometime in June, no date of arrival given.

But how much weapons has the US sent?
How about in the neighbourhood of 40 tons so far and the necessary funds for training soldiers.

Quoting from the article, and confirming my suspicions:

* Arms provided after insurgents began offensive in May
The arms were not provided after the call for help from the transitional government.
They were provided prior to that supposed call for help.
Which like I said, was a call to arms.

Given the conditions of the citizens of the US, the depression, the home losses, the tent cities- I can't help but wonder at the fact that the US is trying to "get their war on" wherever possible. Let's see Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Georgia, Iran and Somalia, to name just a few..
All the while leaving their people, their own citizens to rot in the fall out of their crashed economy.

One more point to ponder. What other countries are sending arms?

US weapons ARRIVED in Somalia this month

Which came first? The request from Somalia's transitional government for assistance?
Or did the transitional government, knowing the shipment of US weapons had already arrived then make the call for back up?
Which would make the most sense, when one thinks about it?
Obviously the call to arms, once the arms arrive!

U.S. Sends Weapons to Help Somali Government Repel Rebels

The United States has sent a shipment of weapons and ammunition to the government of Somalia

Oh and the answer to the opening question, which came first the call or the weapons?
It was the weapons!

Quoting from the Washington Post:

"The shipment arrived in the capital, Mogadishu, this month", according to the official.

"The shipment arrived in the capital, Mogadishu, this month", according to the official.
The call was put out by the transitional government this past Saturday.

OH, and one more item, I found rather interesting....
State Dept Briefing, Ian Kelly June 25th/09

QUESTION: As you know, the UN Security Council has had a longstanding ban on arms shipments to Somalia. But I believe in May, they, I think, passed a resolution that would allow for this, provided that such shipments were approved by the relevant UN committee. Did the United States seek and obtain the approval of the committee and, therefore, this does not in any way violate UN resolutions?

MR. KELLY: Well, Arshad, it’s my understanding that all this assistance is provided in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.

In May the OK is given to ship weapons to Somalia.
In June the weapons arrive.
June 2oth the call for help goes out from the Somali Transitional Government.
Looks like a plan!

Withholding hand sanitizer from the Natives?

What to make of this?
Such a simple means of sanitizing hands, especially if these are flu stricken reserves?

Withholding hand sanitizer from flu-ravaged reserves 'outrageous': chiefs

WINNIPEG - Canada's health minister must apologize on behalf of Health Canada for withholding hand sanitizers from flu-stricken reserves because they contained alcohol, one of Manitoba grand chiefs said Tuesday.

The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs says some communities had to wait almost a month before they got the hand sanitizers they needed. Acting Grand Chief Donavan Fontaine said it's outrageous to delay essential supplies to reserves in the middle of a severe flu outbreak.

"There should not have been any delay in getting the supplies to the communities. That is the real issue," Fontaine said in a statement. "If we've learned anything from this outbreak, it's that the federal bureaucracy needs to improve its response time."

Aboriginal leaders have said poor living conditions, including cramped housing and lack of clean water, have made some reserves a "breeding ground" for the virus.

Reading the above story, got me thinking about this.

Vaccinate Canadians under 40 and natives first: experts

Wouldn't it be better for the native population to, oh I don't know, have clean water and better living conditions?
I realize big pharma won't make as much money.
But those types of improvements would certainly be money better spent in the long run.

Somalia: Pirates from Puntland and it's Canadian head of state

First off, I gotta thank Hubris for leaving this in the previous post.
Hubris has an interesting blog and it is linked in the sidebar.

I have read through it, and it is quite interesting. Lots of good links.
Gives a good idea of all the varying interests operating in Somalia, generally making the peoples lives a hell on earth.

Somalia's Prima Ballarin-a Returns

and an interesting Canadian connection?

Former Ottawa gas station operator rules home state of Somali pirates

Many of the pirates hijacking vessels in the region are based in an autonomous region called Puntland, beyond the control of what passes for a central government in Somalia.

The president of Puntland for the past three years has been Mohamud Muse Hersi, a former Ottawa gas station operator.

Hersi emigrated to Canada in the 1980s, bought a gas station and raised a family, but his clan connections to Somalia remained strong. When the elders of Puntland were looking for a new president in 2005, they chose Hersi.

Yup, you read that right! A former Ottawa gas station owner.
And, why would the elders chose him after what looks like a 25yr absence?
Did they choose him, really? Or was he chosen for them?
Which begs the question, who is really running Puntland?
And, what does it suggest about the pirates or at least some of the pirates operating out of that region?

Heads up! Somalia in western sights?

While your eyes have been diverted to the "colour revolution in Iran... things have been heating up in Somalia!

I am not going to go into the whole sordid history here, I have other posts on this blog that have already covered this, so here is the latest.

Somali president calls emergency

On Saturday, June 20th)Somalia asked for urgent foreign military intervention - a call backed by the African Union.
and requests foreign intervention?!!!

Initially(June 20th) Ethiopia rejects the Somali request

However today (June 22nd) it is reported that Ethiopia has entered Somalia.

Must have got there marching orders from on high?

Less than a year after fleeing in the face of an Islamist insurgency, Ethiopian forces have come back to help prevent a moderate government from collapsing at the hands of militant Islamists.

Umm, hate to rain on the propaganda parade, ok, well no, I don't really hate to.
Ethiopian forces did not flee an Islamist insurgency a year ago, they left.
The time had come to go. So they left.
Well actually here is the skinny....

Ethiopia agreed to pull out last October as part of a UN-backed peace deal between the fragile transitional government and one of the main opposition factions.
This made the Somalians very happy, no surprise there, who likes an occupier?
Somali joy as Ethiopians withdraw (see link above)

So despite the bogus claim that Ethiopian troops were "fleeing" an insurgency a year ago, that was not the case, at all.

So what is going on with this latest Somali episode?
Is this going to be the new hot button western media destination?

Iran is fading away quickly. Just can't keep the momentum up on the western attempt at intervention in Iran? I guess it is difficult when the masses of people don't really have their heart set on regime change?
Riot police fired tear gas to break up an opposition rally in Tehran today after around 1,000 demonstrators defied a threat from the Revolutionary Guard to crush any further protests over the disputed presidential election.

1,000 protesters in Iran. Yet in Georgia after two months of protests they can get 50,000 protesters to show up. Is that the difference between legitimate and illegitimate dissent?
One has staying power? The other, not so much?

Anyway, back to Somalia.
I came across a news story that I can only find western media outlets covering.

Somali Islamists order teenagers' hands, legs amputated

I can only find this story, at this time on Reuters, AFP and the BBC. (BBC has picked up the AFP story)

It seems a really vague story.
Allegedly 4 men, 4 "young men", no names.
No indication of when this punishment is to be doled out, nothing.
Some details, rather gory about the weather effecting amputees?
But, is it true?
We have sure seen these kind of false stories before!
One of the most famous being the incubators and Iraqi soldiers.

Coupled with the spin about the Ethiopian troops allegedly fleeing Somali last year, I got thinking...

Is this more of the kind of spin, the propaganda, the misleading news, that is needed to sway western opinion?

Oh look at these bad people in Somali, ISLAMISTS, amputating the limbs of nameless "young men"

Creative use of the law creates many criminals

U.S. prison population dwarfs that of other nations

The United States has less than 5 percent of the world's population. But it has almost a quarter of the world's prisoners. Indeed, the United States leads the world in producing prisoners, a reflection of a relatively recent and now entirely distinctive American approach to crime and punishment. Americans are locked up for crimes — from writing bad checks to using drugs — that would rarely produce prison sentences in other countries. And in particular they are kept incarcerated far longer than prisoners in other nations. Criminologists and legal scholars in other industrialized nations say they are mystified and appalled by the number and length of American prison sentences. The United States has, for instance, 2.3 million criminals behind bars, more than any other nation. The United States ... has 751 people in prison or jail for every 100,000 in population. (If you count only adults, one in 100 Americans is locked up.) The median among all nations is about 125, roughly a sixth of the American rate. "Far from serving as a model for the world, contemporary America is viewed with horror," James Whitman, a specialist in comparative law at Yale, wrote last year in Social Research. Prison sentences here have become "vastly harsher than in any other country to which the United States would ordinarily be compared,"

this despite the fact that-
Censored news: Violent crime decreases over 50 percent in last 15 years
But then it is prison for profits in the US!
Corporate run prisons need prisoners to roll in the dough.
Of course while imprisoned and already profitable just while being incarcerated, prisoners routinely work for slave wages producing all manner of goods for other corporations.
Therefore the more incarcerations, more slave workers and way more prison profit.

Desperate times, desperate measures: Army recruits racists

"I Hate Arabs More Than Anybody": Desperate Army Recruits Neo-Nazis

This story opens with the saga of the racist Forrest Fogarty, and ends with his own words

"I hate Arabs more than anybody, for the simple fact I've served over there and seen how they live," he tells me. "They're just a backward people. Them and the Jews are just disgusting people as far as I'm concerned. Their customs, everything to do with the Middle East, is just repugnant to me."

Then some other interesting tidbits emerge:

The presence of white supremacists in the military first triggered concern in 1976. At Camp Pendleton in California, a group of black Marines attacked white Marines they mistakenly believed to be in the KKK. The resulting investigation uncovered a KKK chapter at the base and led to the jailing or transfer of 16 Klansmen. Reports of Klan activity among soldiers and Marines surfaced again in the 1980s, spurring President Reagan's Defense Secretary, Caspar Weinberger, to condemn military participation in white supremacist organizations.

Then, in 1995, a black couple was murdered by two neo-Nazi paratroopers around Fort Bragg in North Carolina. The murder investigation turned up evidence that 22 soldiers at Fort Bragg were known to be extremists. That year, language was added to a Department of Defense directive, explicitly prohibiting participation in "organizations that espouse supremacist causes" or "advocate the use of force or violence."

Today a complete ban on membership in racist organizations appears to have been lifted -- though the proliferation of white supremacists in the military is difficult to gauge. The military does not track them as a discrete category, coupling them with gang members. But one indication of the scope comes from the FBI.

Following an investigation of white supremacist groups, a 2008 FBI report declared: "Military experience -- ranging from failure at basic training to success in special operations forces -- is found throughout the white supremacist extremist movement." In white supremacist incidents from 2001 to 2008, the FBI identified 203 veterans. Most of them were associated with the National Alliance and the National Socialist Movement, which promote anti-Semitism and the overthrow of the U.S. government, and assorted skinhead groups.

Because the FBI focused only on reported cases, its numbers don't include the many extremist soldiers who have managed to stay off the radar. But its report does pinpoint why the white supremacist movements seek to recruit veterans -- they "may exploit their accesses to restricted areas and intelligence or apply specialized training in weapons, tactics, and organizational skills to benefit the extremist movement."

In fact, since the movement's inception, its leaders have encouraged members to enlist in the U.S. military as a way to receive state-of-the-art combat training, courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer, in preparation for a domestic race war. The concept of a race war is central to extremist groups, whose adherents imagine an eruption of violence that pits races against each other and the government.

To think of people with these kinds of attitudes intervening in other people's countries......
I shudder.

Contrasting protest coverage Iran vs G-20 and Georgia

Iran, Iran, Iran. You would think this was the only news in the world. Odd isn't it?

What is so unique about unrest in Iran? Isn't there unrest everywhere? Sure there is!
Aren't there protests everywhere?
Yup, there are!
Look at the G-20 protests. The coverage that was given served to portray the protestors in a negative light and law enforcement as doing their job to keep the peace. Even when the death of an innocent bystander resulted, Ian Tomlinson at the hands of head bashing police officers, the main stream media stayed quite quiet. Apologies I stand corrected, quiet, except for the smear campaign that was launched against the victim after the police brutality was exposed! Apparently, Ian Tomlinson liked to drink. As if that justified his murder at the hands of law enforcement. The main stream media was clearly making excuses, clearly justifying the actions of law enforcement.

In Iran, it is a different story.
The police trying to control some extremely unruly crowds are portrayed as ruthless and "videos of police beating demonstrators hit hard at the emotions"
Unusual for western media to be sympathetic to unruly protestors.

At the G-20 where the police were bashing peaceful protestors, those on line videos sure didn't "hit hard at the emotions".

But, the protests in Iran? Resulting in heart strings being tugged?
Does this coverage make one suspect the western audience is being played?
Makes me suspicious.
If protesting is legitimate in Iran for an election, it surely should be at the G-20 protests, when issues affecting the world populace are being discussed and decided upon by elites behind locked gates. Gates that ensure the masses are left out in the cold.
But if the G-20 protests aren't relevant in your mind.
Let us look at another country. Georgia.
There have been many protests there.
Did you know that? Most people don't.
Why is that? Well there hasn't been much western mainstream media coverage of it. Certainly not the wall to wall, 24/7, coverage Iran has garnered.
Yet, in Georgia on June 15th/09, guess what was going on?
Protests! Along with police beatings!
Police in Georgia beat opposition protesters Mon Jun 15, 2009

The protests have been going on for a while now.

Here is a story from May 26/09. Thousands attend Georgia protest

On May 5/09 I covered the news story that there was an attempted coup in Georgia
Tank Batallion Mutiny in Georgia

The protests have in fact, been going on for two months now. TWO MONTHS!

Where is the western media coverage on this situation. Where are the hard hits at the western emotions for these disgruntled citizens? Why there aren't any at all! None.
It is just like, it doesn't exist.
Why is that?
Look at these two countries, Georgia and Iran.
One already has a pro-western puppet installed. That would be Georgia.
As for Iran, well there are hopes to install a pro- western puppet, or to at least demonize sufficiently to "bomb, bomb, bomb,-bomb, bomb Iran" to quote John McCain.

The agenda is political.
There are western aspirations (regime change and more) behind this wall to wall media coverage.

Power, Control, Midnight Climax, LSD and the required Laurel Canyon connection

Well, well, well, Glenn is back and left a response regarding Operation Midnight Climax.
God, that name still makes me chuckle!
Let's see what Glenn had to say..
Glenn said...

Read your new post! To answer your question about the new series called Operation Midnight Climax:
The research we did was mostly done on the web, from old time articles, etc. The rest of it was conjecture and a little imagination. For example: the series takes place in LA, but the real OMC took place in New York, San Francisco and Marin.

However, we recently filed a Freedom of Information Act Request with the CIA so there is slight chance that we could get our hands on some pictures or videotape. We'll keep you updated! Meanwhile, you should be able to subscribe to the Strange Science podcasts on itunes very soon!

Thanks for the interest and support!

While there is some info available on the mkultra topic, a lot of it was destroyed. Shredded, burned, whatever! Since, experimenting on human beings, without their knowledge or consent, is a very serious human rights abuse, a crime and a rotten thing to do
It is something the Nazi's took a great deal of heat for.
But in the 'freedom' loving USA, you just destroy the documents.
I am hoping Glenn will get some info and share it. Good luck to you Glenn and co. and do keep me posted! I would love to read what you get. I am rooting for yah here!!!

On the topic of operation midnight climax, Mkultra and all the weirdness that comes along with experimenting on humanity, Roger, was kind enough to leave a link to another documentary.
I watched it last week, and I liked it. It gave me some food for thought. Or to use some cheesy acid phrase, it gave me something to trip on?

It is called Power & Control LSD in The Sixties.
Here is Part 1:

Links to the rest of it, each part about 10 minutes.
Part 2
Part 3

Part 4

Some highlights. Discussion of Mkultra, Operation midnight climax, experiments on students at a religious school conducted by Timothy Leary. The use of Agent Provocateurs in the anti-war protests, reminding us all this is nothing new.
If this topic interests you, this is good!

Now, watching this documentary brought some questions to my mind.
I'll get to that, but first some background....
For anyone who has been following -Dave McGowans/ Laurel Canyon (latest piece here )
It should be clear, well in my opinion anyway, that the government was using the counter-culture movement ( the anti-war movement in particular) as one massive drug experiment.
This would be the illegal experiments with drugs done on unwitting citizens I referred to earlier...
Now some have postulated that this was done to crush opposition to the government.
Which would be a great idea for the powerful people.
We have to keep in mind that LSD was legal, unrestricted and lots of it was given free of charge to masses of people. So I can see that. Drug the populace, and run rough shod all over them.

We see the modern version of a complacent population at this time, medicated via prescription drugs by the big pharma dealer with the help of willing to benefit governments.
Sorry, digressing, back to topic.

LSD, given freely as part of the MKUltra experiments.
What if it backfired? What if it was actually increasing opposition to government?
What would be the answer to that dilemma?
The only answer would be, obviously, make it illegal and criminalize it, and everyone that uses it.
This is exactly what happened, LSD went from free and easy to illegal and your going to jail.
So now, I am left wondering, were the results of this societal experimentation NOT what had been hoped for. Instead of complacency had the results been turmoil and upheaval.
Had the LSD caused youthful minds to question the authority that loomed largely over them?
Thereby necessitating the criminalization of the substance?
With Timothy Leary's help, of course.

Israel on the defence

So far as public relations go, Israel is at a crossroads.
Open communication, free-flow of information has made it impossible for Israel to control the image of itself to the world.
It is getting tougher to play the victim, when one just looks like and acts like an apartheid regime.

Israel is telling the people this.....
Don't talk to other people in the world, cause they are scary, and they could harm you!
However, the reality.....
Israel fears interaction between Israelis and the rest of the world, may change a cause in perception or an awakening amongst the populace.

then this one-

Israel is losing the PR war so badly that even evangelical support is eroding

Among evangelicals the religious equivalent is a movement led by people like Brian McLaren, author of A New Kind of Christian; Stephen Sizer, a pastor who has gained popularity by condemning "Christian Zionism"; and, of course, Jimmy Carter, who accuses Israel of committing a "holocaust."

Thank goodness, the rapture happy believers are coming to their senses.

You ain't going to get into heaven supporting the land theft and displacement of a segment of humanity.

Jesus said:
Whatever you did for the least of My brothers and sisters, you did for Me. Matthew 25:40

Pretty clear, if you treat humans poorly, you treat Jesus poorly.
Evangelical christians, have been very un-Jesus!

Squabbling siblings and Bug's Bunny 'bombs' hit the news

News that is a little different.

Girl, 10, arrested for fight with big sis

- A 10-year-old girl was arrested and charged for fighting in a park with her 13-year-old sister, police in Texas said.

Yes, you are reading that correctly, police arrested a 10 yr old, for fighting with her sister, while at a park. A bystander called police, who arrested the girl at her home.

"'This is criminal, and one of them is going to have to go to jail and it's probably going to have to be your younger one because she was the aggressor,'" their mother quoted the officer as saying. "And I said, 'Are you kidding me?' and he said, 'No, no.'"
So, siblings fighting, like they do, is worthy of this type of law force intervention?

Then this one, Carrot 'bombs'!

The carrot bombs had been placed around the city at the request of a local art gallery, as part of an open-air arts festival.

They had only been in place for an hour before police received their first call.

"We received a call ... from a person who said they saw two real bombs placed outside the public library," Ronny Hoerman from the Orebro police force, was quoted as saying by the AFP news agency.

How did the caller know they were "real bombs" and not carrots?
How paranoid are people these days?
"After all, it is just carrots with an alarm clock and nothing else... this is just a caricature of a bomb," he said.

Oh, those wascaly wabbits!
Has society gone a little mad?

Penny's saying to Ponder

"In the technotronic society the trend would seem to be towards the aggregation of the individual support of millions of uncoordinated citizens, easily within the reach
of magnetic and attractive personalities effectively exploiting the latest communication techniques to manipulate emotions and control reason."
—Zbigniew Brzezinski

Imagine the ultimate control, when the powerful can finally manipulate you via your own thoughts.
And, you will actually think the thoughts in your head are all your own. You will believe the choices made are your own, made through exercising your alleged free will. What is so frightening is you will be none the wiser.
That is tyranny

This saying fits in so nicely with many of the themes touched on here at the blog.
Mind Control, MKultra, rfid chips, DARPA and telepathy.

If you haven't already, separate yourself from the tv, the "boob tube" and all it's programming. (I ain't talking entertainment)
That is a dam good way to start freeing yourself.

Bilderberg & the "good club". Global elites, dictators for the masses.

Doesn't it seem odd that in such an alleged modern and enlightened age, we who believe we are free to make our own choices as we see fit, have a group of elites who meet behind closed doors and plot courses for humanity?
And, we have no say in it at all? We aren't informed?
Odd, yes, but the reality is these elite groups like it exactly that way!

There was an interesting meeting of these elites, a meeting of "the good club", as noted by insiders.
But, if these people constitute the "good club", who then constitutes "the bad club"?
Would that be the people shut out of the meeting? The great unwashed masses of humanity?
So let us read on here and see what this "good club" is up to?

America's richest people meet to discuss ways of tackling a 'disastrous' environmental, social and industrial threat

They gathered at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel prize biochemist and president of the private Rockefeller University, in Manhattan on May 5. The informal afternoon session was so discreet that some of the billionaires’ aides were told they were at “security briefings”.

So, what qualifies these people to sit around and talk about things that affect the masses, to the exclusion of the masses? Is the fact that they are rich, billionaires to be exact, that qualifies them to make decisions for the world? Like bluebloods, sickly inbred, but somehow empowered?

Well, I don't know about you, but I am feeling better already, rather like, I have been put in my place, as a serf.

Why did these ultra-rich people require such secrecy?

“They wanted to speak rich to rich without worrying anything they said would end up in the newspapers, painting them as an alternative world government,” he said.

Then there is Bilderburg. Ah, yes, Bilderburg...... more elite people plotting the course of the everyman's life from behind closed doors?! How very, very democratic. David Rockefeller, who by the way, attended the meeting of the "good club" is also a regular Bilderburg attendee.
Bilderburg has been in the news as of late also, let's see what it is they have been up to?

Our man at Bilderberg: Let's salt the slug in 2010

Publicity is pure poison to the world's global power elite. So we should all turn up to its next annual meeting with a few more tubs of the stuff
I do like that salting the slug analogy! Anyone who has gardened will get that one.

Shadowy Bilderberg group meet in Greece — and here’s their address

The Bilderberg consensus is that national problems are best solved by an internationally oriented elite, that a global network of decision-makers should have a common language and that the boundaries are fluid between the monied and the political classes

Again with the elitism, of the wealthy and the powerful. And the common people the rest of the billions of us? What do we say? When are we asked?
Ever get that feeling your a game piece being played on a board game?
Reading this type of talk gives me just that feeling.
I don't like that feeling.

The Bilderberg Group - Rulers of the World?
Interview with investigator and author, Daniel Estulin, on his just published book, The True Story of The Bilderberg Group.

Pentagon via DARPA funds telepathy research

Pentagon Preps Soldier Telepathy Push

Forget the battlefield radios, the combat PDAs or even infantry hand signals. When the soldiers of the future want to communicate, they’ll read each other’s minds.

At least, that’s the hope of researchers at the Pentagon’s mad-science division Darpa. The agency’s budget for the next fiscal year includes $4 million to start up a program called Silent Talk. The goal is to “allow user-to-user communication on the battlefield without the use of vocalized speech through analysis of neural signals.”

The project has three major goals, according to Darpa. First, try to map a person’s EEG patterns to his or her individual words. Then, see if those patterns are generalizable — if everyone has similar patterns. Last, “construct a fieldable pre-prototype that would decode the signal and transmit over a limited range.”

The military has been funding a handful of mind-tapping technology recently, and already have monkeys capable of telepathic limb control. Telepathy may also have advantages beyond covert battlefield chatter. Last year, the National Research Council and the Defense Intelligence Agency released a report suggesting that neuroscience might also be useful to “make the enemy obey our commands.” The first step, though, may be getting a grunt to obey his officer’s remotely-transmitted thoughts.

the new direction of mind control???

Operation Midnight Climax

Who needs fantasy, when we have reality.
Reality can be so strange.
In a previous post, I touched upon Operation Midnight Climax.

Briefly: "Operation Midnight Climax was a series of CIA run brothels in San Francisco and New York. The operation paid prostitutes $100 a day to lure men into the net. The prostitutes spiked their Johns' drinks with LSD" And the officers watched.

This operation was part of the larger MKUltra mind-control experiments that the CIA conducted. If so inclined here is some additional info

Anyway, someone named Glenn, left this message here. I think Glenn may be affiliated with this tv series.

"There's actually a new webisode series about this called, appropriately, Operation Midnight Climax. Check it out! www.strangescience.tv"

So, I did.
You can too!
There is a trailer and the first episode that sets up the premise for the series.

I got a question for Glenn and the people making this series.
How did you do any research for the show, if you did? Without a doubt, alot of pornographic images must have been produced from this experiment on unwitting subjects. Able to view any?

MI5 Blackmailing British Muslims

According to this report, YES, that is the case!
If they are doing it in Britian, it's quite safe to say it is done in the US, Canada, Australia, and other 'freedom and democracy' loving countries.

"Work for us or we will say you are a terrorist"

Five Muslim community workers have accused MI5 of waging a campaign of blackmail and harassment in an attempt to recruit them as informants.
The men claim they were given a choice of working for the Security Service or face detention and harassment in the UK and overseas.
They have made official complaints to the police, to the body which oversees the work of the Security Service and to their local MP Frank Dobson. Now they have decided to speak publicly about their experiences in the hope that publicity will stop similar tactics being used in the future.
Three of the men say they were detained at foreign airports on the orders of MI5 after leaving Britain on family holidays last year.
After they were sent back to the UK, they were interviewed by MI5 officers who, they say, falsely accused them of links to Islamic extremism. On each occasion the agents said they would lift the travel restrictions and threat of detention in return for their co-operation. When the men refused some of them received what they say were intimidating phone calls and threats.
Two other Muslim men say they were approached by MI5 at their homes after police officers posed as postmen. Each of the five men, aged between 19 and 25, was warned that if he did not help the security services he would be considered a terror suspect. A sixth man was held by MI5 for three hours after returning from his honeymoon in Saudi Arabia. He too claims he was threatened with travel restrictions if he tried to leave the UK.
Apparently this was already know to be a problem

Home Secretary was warned of MI5's 'blackmailing of Muslims'

Whatever it takes to create state-sponsored terror?
More fake terror rings?
Whatever is needed?

Jimi Hendrix 'murdered by manager'

Well as soon as I saw this, my mind went back to Laurel Canyon.

Jimi Hendrix appeared in Part III of Dave McGowan's Laurel Canyon series, refresh your memories here. Jimi makes his appearance amongst the long list of those who died under mysterious circumstances, with military connections, such as Jim Morrison and Gram Parsons.

According to a new book written by Jimi's former roadie, Jimi Hendrix was murdered, as part of an insurance scam, by his manager!

"James "Tappy" Wright, one of the rock star's roadies, claims Hendrix's manager, Michael Jeffery, confessed to killing him. "

He quotes Jeffery as saying: "I was in London the night of Jimi's death and together with some old friends ...we went round to Monika's hotel room, got a handful of pills and stuffed them into his mouth ...then poured a few bottles of red wine deep into his windpipe

"I had to do it. Jimi was worth much more to me dead than alive. That son of a bitch was going to leave me. If I lost him, I'd lose everything."

Wright also claims Jeffery told him he had taken out a life insurance policy on Hendrix worth £1.2million, with Jeffery as beneficiary.

Interestingly enough, Jimi Hendrix's manager Michael Jeffrey, was also manager for another Laurel Canyon band The Animals. With regards to Jimi's death and the Animals connection, besides having the same manager Dave McGowan notes-

" The truth, alas, remains rather elusive. At the time of Jimi’s death, the first person called by his girlfriend – Monika Danneman, who was the last to see Hendrix alive – was Eric Burden of the Animals. Two years earlier, Burden had relocated to LA and taken over ringmaster duties from Frank Zappa after Zappa had vacated the Log Cabin "
And curiouser still, Michael Jeffrey died two years after Hendrix in a plane crash.

Plane crashes always set the mind wondering????

Oh, and one more thing!
I just want to put this video up, it is Janis Joplin-Summertime.
She fits into the Laurel Canyon scene and it is just a great, great summertime song!
Ok, it ain't for everyone, but I dig it!

Homeland Security Money for Synagogues

Recall a couple weeks back, the arrest of the so called "Temple Plot"
Ignore the usual brouhaha about the arrests, a number of media outlets pointed out that this was the same old, same old useful idiots kind of sting.
Read here or here or here.

Yet not every New Yorker was impressed by the latest in a long line of purported anti-terrorist triumphs that have supposedly averted tragedy in New York, Chicago, Toronto and several other North American cities since September 11, 2001.

Kindlon’s complaints were echoed by other legal experts who have repeatedly questioned the FBI’s reliance on undercover informants – known as confidential witnesses (CWs) – who lure gullible radicals into far-fetched plots that are then foiled by the agents monitoring them.
Useful idiots, with no real weapons, no real explosives wooed by an undercover informant who sets up the entire sting.
Yup, this same operation has been carried out before. One writer even noted this was an ideal false flag op.

Face it, law enforcement has to do, what it has to do to make and keep itself relevant. To keep taxpayer dollars pouring in, they have to demonstrate their necessity. Even if that means concocting "terrorist" groups.

Busted New York Terror Plot Strengthens Plea for More Anti-Terror Funding

See what I mean, a call for more funding. Concot a terror group and get more funding.

Not necessarily limited to law enforcement, it seems everyone wants a piece of the taxpayer pie? Also getting a slice of the taxpayer pie, the two synagogues, the alleged targets, are now getting money from Homeland Security $25,000 dollars each to upgrade or install security systems.
It seems it was Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz, who approached Gov. David A Paterson and requested the security money.
Now a bunch of thoughts come to my mind..
Seperation of church and state?
Were the synagogues really threatened?
Was this a reward to synagogues for their use and/or abuse in the set up?
Also, when Mosques are targetted are they afforded the same type of security???
How about other churches? And other terrorists?

Dr. Mary's Monkey, had a Family of Secrets that led to Evidence of Revisionism

What a title, eh? Say what? It is nonsensical! That's alright!
How does one title a post just loaded with interesting stuff, it's tough.
But, hell it makes sense when you get through this.
I've been meaning to get around to this........
Look at this as an info filled post that can keep you occupied.
But not mindlessly occupied, like tv.
Or brutally occupied, like Iraq and Palestine.
This is the kind of time occupier, if you will, that will leave you better informed and wanting to know more.

I posted the first part of the movie Conspiritus Ubiquitous- Evidence of Revision.
Hope you watched it and enjoyed it, me, I have gotten through 3 parts of it.
If you liked the first part, the second and third are even better.

Here are the links, I won't embed it this time as it is a bit cumbersome.
You can find Conspiritus Ubiquitous -Evidence of Revision: Part 2
Then Part 3 . On to Part 4. Now here is Part 5. Last, but by no means least Part 6.

Now, I have made that very easy for you to catch this great documentary.
But, there is one more thing!
I have been hearing alot about a new book. I have heard the author interviewed a few times already.

The book is called -Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty, The Powerful Forces That Put It In The White House, and What Their Influence Means For America.

It ties quite nicely in with Conspiritus Ubiquitous-
According to this well researched book, it seems the Bush Family has played quite a role in conspiracies and their revision for quite a while now.

So here is 1 good interview in 2 parts:
Guns and Butter Part 1
Guns and Butter Part 2

Enjoy the documentary and the interview.
I am waiting for Meria Heller to interview him soon and am looking forward to that!

Oh and one more thing! I know I already said that, but if I had said there were 2 more things, would you have kept on reading?
Meria has put up at the free show link another interview that coincidentally or not, ties in with this subject.

It is with the author of the book- Dr. Mary's Monkey-

Meria Interviews Ed Haslam, author of the fabulous book “Dr.Mary’s Monkey“.
Ed’s been in the middle of this story his whole life; what you hear will shock you; monkey viruses and cancer in labs in the 1950′s and 1960’s; AIDS - a monkey virus; Mary Sherman-David Ferrie & Lee Harvey Oswald; the polio vaccine of the 1950’s and monkey cells and viruses; SV40 - simian virus; the brutal murder of Dr. Mary Sherman-why and how?

Click here to download or listen to the free weekly show.

I found that a most interesting interview myself.

Check Meria's show out, she is well worth the time and subscription and she has a special right now. If you can spare 10.00 bucks. I have been a long time subscriber and she never lets me down!

Canadians Take Notice, the U.S. Is Militarizing the Border

This story ties in quite nicely with this post here
Electronic surveillance of the human goods, or should I say subjects?

More troops, more searches, more surveilance drones. The U.S. is taking Canadians' pictures as they cross the border, and their biometrics.

DETROIT – About 50 feet before a car from Canada reaches the border inspection booth, the screenings begin.

A camera snaps your license plate.

An electronic card reader mounted on a yellow post scans your car for the presence of any radio-frequency ID cards inside. If there is an enhanced driver's license embedded with biometric information, its unique PIN number is read without you offering it.

say bye bye to privacy!

The Customs and Border Protection computer connects with your province's database and in less than a second – .56 to be exact – your personal information is uploaded to a screen in the booth. A second camera snaps the driver's face.

Welcome to the United States of America.

This is what that border already looks like:

A post-mounted scanner screens your vehicle for radioactive material that could be used to build a "dirty bomb" - a probe so sensitive it will detect if you've recently had a medical test that used isotopes.

As you pull up to the booth, a computer monitor may be filling with information about you, even before the guard asks, "Where are you coming from? What's your citizenship? Where are you headed? Why?"

If a border lookout, arrest warrant or criminal record pops up on the guard's screen, or if something doesn't quite add up - maybe you're sweating bullets on a cold day - expect to get hauled over for a secondary inspection.

The port of entry at the Ambassador Bridg e in Detroit - the busiest commercial land crossing in North America, through which a quarter of all Canada-U.S. trade passes - has strict controls, as does the Detroit-Windsor tunnel.

Border agents, packing pepper spray, collapsible batons and 9-mm automatic pistols, are the first point of contact for people and cargo alike. Sometimes their supervisors order vehicle sweeps at random. Then for 30 minutes, agents will pop every trunk, just for a look-see.

It seemed a song was in order for this one. Something fitting.

I know you deceived me, now here's a surprise.

I know that you have cause there is magic in my eyes.

I can see for miles and miles and miles
