South Korea and US to stage joint naval drills

Keeping in mind that just Kim Jong-Il was in China, on a hastily arranged visit, that just ended on Monday

South Korea said Tuesday it will stage a joint naval exercise with the United States next week, the latest in a series of drills aimed at warning North Korea after its alleged attack on a warship.
The anti-submarine drill will take place in the Yellow Sea from September 5 to 9, a spokesman for Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff told AFP.

"Now we're coordinating final details with the United States," he said, declining to say which ships would be involved.

Yonhap news agency, quoted an unidentified military official, said the exercise would involve two US Aegis-class destroyers and a 1,200-tonne submarine plus South Korean corvettes and destroyers, but no aircraft carriers or nuclear submarines.

The US military in South Korea said on August 20 that its flagship aircraft carrier, the USS George Washington, would not take part -- an apparent concession to China which strongly opposes the drills.

Any war games involving the United States in the Yellow Sea are a sensitive issue because of the area's proximity to China and the disputed maritime boundary between South and North Korea.

South Korea and the United States, citing a multinational investigation, accused North Korea in May of staging a torpedo attack which killed 46 sailors on a South Korean corvette.

The South announced reprisals, including a cut in most cross-border trade.

The North vehemently denies sinking the ship and has threatened retaliation against the series of military drills staged this summer.

In July South Korea and the United States held a major naval and air drill in the Sea of Japan (East Sea).

The South in August staged its largest-ever anti-submarine drill including live-fire training near the disputed Yellow Sea border, prompting a North Korean artillery barrage fired into the sea

Possible gearing up for the distraction.... which Israel and the US will use to their advantage to attack Iran???

Canada can forge ahead with green house gas emmissions trading, without the US

The carbon/cap and trade market has, for now, been stalled in the US.
How to circumvent that problem?
Might one way be to have Canada start their Carbon market up?
Rather then Canada following suit as usual, Canada will set the tone and the US will just have to 'sing along". In NAFTA Harmonization, of course!

While GHG emissions legislation is at present going nowhere in the US Congress ......

Canada can forge ahead with its own greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions trading system, while limiting the risks of getting too far out of step with the United States, according to a study released today by the C.D. Howe Institute. In Better Together? The Implications of Linking Canada - US Greenhouse Gas Policies, economists Dave Sawyer and Carolyn Fischer suggest that a policy of "go it alone," with prices on emissions that are similar to those of the US, based on the expectation that a US policy eventually will be in place, would be a low-risk strategy for Canada.

The Stealthy X-37B shuttle

I first covered the X-37B, April 26th of this year. Refresh your memory here.

So...what has been going on with the X-37B? What is new or interesting? Why did I call the initial launch of the X-37B, more of that weaponization of space?

US military's top secret X-37B shuttle 'disappears' for two weeks, changes orbit

AMATEUR astronomers are enjoying a cat-and-mouse game with the US military in keeping track of its secret space plane, the X-37B.

Only a very select few in the US military know what it's for, but observers on Earth believe they're putting together the puzzle piece by piece. Several sources claim quote arms control advocates who say it's clearly the beginning of the "weaponisation of space".

In May, avid skywatcher Ted Molczan studied the X-37B's orbit from his home in Toronto and said its behaviour suggested it was testing sensors for a range of new spy satellites.

Since then, the X-37B has been followed, as fellow backyard astronomers joined in the scrutiny, aided by how-to video guides and apps such as the Simple Satellite Tracker. That is, they did until July 29, when the shuttle disappeared, causing all kinds of consternation and conspiracy theories about its fate.

It took amateur skywatcher Greg Roberts of Cape Town, South Africa, who noticed that it failed to appear as scheduled above his base on August 14, another five days to find it. When he did, he noticed it was some 30km higher and on a different trajectory, according to calculations from other colleagues in Rome and Oklahoma.

The X-37B's new track means it takes six days to pass the same spot on Earth, as opposed to its original four-day track. Mr Molczan believes this may be another small piece to the puzzle about what role the shuttle may play in US military operations.

"This small change of orbit may have been a test of OTV-1's manoeuvering system, or a requirement of whatever payload may be aboard, or both," he said in a release paper about Roberts' X-37B find.

The shuttle has been in orbit now for 124 days. It uses a solar array once in space for power, which theoretically will allow it to stay airborne for up to 270 days.

But the additional presence of large fuel tanks and a rocket motor allows it to change orbit, as evidenced by the latest sudden change of course.

According to the The Register, this is a key component of its surveillance-related capabilities, along with the fact it can land in a much more versatile fashion than other shuttles. Using its "cross-range" wings, it can duck off elsewhere once its entered the Earth's atmosphere rather than follow its oribital track to a pre-specified landing pad. This means the X-37B can get up and down from space in one orbit, as its wings allow it to compensate for the slight turn in the Earth and bend it back to its original launch pad.

The Register says that capability would make it difficult to track, as it would only pass over a region once. Theoretically, it could drop a spy satellite on one run, then pick it up on the next without the satellite having ever been detected. Other observers claim the X-37B can carry a payload roughly the size of a medium-sized truck bed, or enough to hold a spy satellite. According to the Pentagon, a second X-37B is under construction, so expect the guessing game to continue for some time about what the US military is really up to in space.

Until now, all that remains known about the X-37B is that is it has at least one trick - the ability to hide from skywatchers for two weeks.

DARPA wants to SMITE you

In case the meaning of smite is not familiar to you

Smite: To hit; To strike down or kill with godly force; To injure with divine power

To DARPA SMITE stands for: “Suspected Malicious Insider Threat Elimination”

same, same.

Darpa Wants Code to Spot ‘Anomalous Behavior’ on the Job

Looking for clues that a turncoat or accidental leaker is about to spill (.pdf) “could potentially be easier than recognizing explicit attacks,” Darpa notes in a request for information. But even that simpler search won’t be easy. “Many attacks are combinations of directly observable and inferred events.” Which is why SMITE’s program managers are interested in techniques to figure out“the likely intent of inferred actions, and suggestions about what [that] evidence might mean.” That goes for “behaviors both malicious and non-malicious"

How to go about this? Build a big data base..

“The next step is to determine whether an individual or group of individuals is exhibiting anomalous behavior that is also malicious.

Anomalous in one context might be perfectly normal in another. One possible solution, the SMITE paper adds, could be detecting “deceptive” activities, which are a sign of cyberspying. Or cheating on your taxes. Or carrying on an office affair. Or playing World of Warcraft on the job. Depending on the situation.

Another article calls this the witchfinder ware.
A clear reference to the ridiculous killing of multitudes of innocent women justified by, as claimed, their alleged witchcraft practices and allegiances to satan.

This time the Pentagon boffins want nothing less than some kind of automated witch-finder technology able to finger "increasingly sophisticated malicious insider behavior" in the USA.

It will no doubt be a comfort for anyone in a position of trust within the US information infrastructure to know that mighty military algorithms and hybrid engines will soon sniff your every move so as to forecast any context-dependent malice on your part and then in some unspecified way (remember what the E in SMITE stands for) eliminate you as a threat

Too fat to fight and the legislation to ensure a supply of soldiers

It is follow-up time!
Yesterday, I put a post "to0 fat to fight"

A group of retired admirals and generals released a report in April expressing concern with America's obesity problem

The report, called "Too Fat to Fight," outlines how America's obesity statistics are seen by some as a security threat. The study calls on Congress to pass nutrition legislation to remove junk food from schools and clean up the quality of lunchroom meal.
Some military leaders worry that the shrinking pool of eligible potential service members will cause problems for future generations.

I happened to catch this on the television news last night. I thought to myself- serendipity!
A law passed. An action undertaken to deal with the problem of a future shortage of soldiers

A state law goes into effect next month that regulates food and beverages in schools includes a provision for body mass index (BMI) and weight screening for students in four grade levels. (Look! Exactly what the military group wanted in their report released in April)

The law calls for participating schools to require students in kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade, and ninth grade to undergo screening for BMI and weight status before May 1 of each year.

Food- GMO crops destroyed and junk food addicted rats

Speaking of food, poor quality garbage, GMO's, artificial sweeteners, glucose/fructose sweeteners, pesticide laden produce etc., some are fighting back.

Activist destroy gmo crops

Before dawn Sunday, about 70 masked activists associated with the European protest movement Faucheurs Volontaires -- or Voluntary Reapers -- pulled 70 experimental grape vines by their roots and chopped them to pieces, said Jean Masson, president of the National Agricultural Research Institute, or INRA, in eastern France.

Police detained about 60 people, questioned them and then released them pending charges.

The vines were part of a transgenic experiment to develop disease-resistant plants at the INRA research station and had been attacked once before by a lone activist.

In a communique, the Faucheurs Volontaires said the grape vines were "neutralized" because "this experimental field was a first step toward imposing this type of agriculture, which is currently forbidden."

Junk food-addicted rats chose to starve themselves rather than eat healthy food

A diet including unlimited amounts of junk food can cause rats to become so addicted to the unhealthy diet that they will starve themselves rather than go back to eating healthy food, researchers have discovered.

In a series of studies conducted over the course of three years and published in the journal Nature Neuroscience, Scripps Florida scientists Paul Johnson and Paul Kenny have shown that rats' response to unlimited junk food closely parallels well-known patterns of drug addiction -- even down to the changes in brain chemistry.
This story seems to lead in perfectly to the next post (which is actually the first post today)
on the obesity problem. How it could have came about?

Could it have been all that fast food, processed food, dyed and sweetened food, that caused the obesity epidemic? What about the push for GMO's? How will that affect humanity?
Read on......

Too Fat to Fight ?

Obesity as a national security issue?

Is this the rationale behind all the "concern" for the obese children of the US?
The government needs soldiers?

"WASHINGTON: A study initiated by more than 100 retired generals and admirals claims that being overweight or obese is the leading medical reason why potential recruits fail to qualify for military service.

The group, who call themselves "Mission: Readiness," released their study in April. The report, called "Too Fat to Fight," outlines how America's obesity statistics are seen by some as a security threat. The study calls on Congress to pass nutrition legislation to remove junk food from schools and clean up the quality of lunchroom meal

According to the study, the number of states with 40 percent or more of their young adults who were overweight or obese went from one to 39 in 10 years. Also, 75 percent of Americans aged 17-24 are ineligible for military service because of their weight, educational status or criminal history.

"Over the past 30 years, while adult rates of obesity have doubled, childhood obesity rates have tripled," states the report.

And while current recruiting quotas are being met, some military leaders worry that the shrinking pool of eligible potential servicemembers will cause problems for future generations

While I do think obesity is an issue, I believe people should be healthy, not soldiers.

The congress will pass legislation to combat obesity, so they can recruit soldiers in the future!

But, they will tell you they care...............

Breaking news - DNA and Hitlers' Jewish Family ties...

Well, well, well.....here is an interesting story. Hitler's Jewish Family History

Covered in a few media outlets TODAY but, considering the historical importance of the story, not as many as you would think it should be. You can access all 28 related articles, yup, all 28 at this link.

A brief round up from a few sites.

The researchers reached the conclusions after examining saliva samples of 39 of Hitler's relatives.

Journalist Jean-Paul Mulders and historian Marc Vermeeren published their findings in Belgain magazine Knack. The Sun reported that the two did not directly receive the saliva samples used for their DNA tests from all of Hitler's descendants. In one case, they picked up a napkin dropped by a distant Hitler relative currently living in the United States.

Other Hitler relatives were located in Austria and asked to hand over DNA samples. According to the study, the DNA tests discovered a chromosome called Haplogroup E1b1b1, which is considered rare in Western Europe. (I wonder how rare this chromosome is in Eastern Europe? Why mention western Europe, when most follower of Judaism are Eastern European, where this chromosome may be more common?)

The researchers noted that this chromosome is very common in North Africa - mostly in Morocco, Tunisia, and Algeria - as well as among Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews.

The African DNA is not as uncommon as many think. Anyway....

From Jerusalem Post

Some historians had previously suggested that Hitler had Jewish ancestry.

His father, Alois, was thought by some to have been the illegitimate offspring of a maid called Maria Schickelgruber and a 19-year-old Jewish man with the family name of Frankenberger

Maybe, maybe not?

From here:

A Psychologial Profile of Adolph Hitler

His Life and Legend

Walter C. Langer
Office of Strategic Services
Washington, D.C.

With the collaboration of-
Prof. Henry A. Murr, Harvard Psychological Clinic
Dr. Ernst Kris, New School for Social Research .
Dr. Bertram D. Lawin, New York Psychoanalytic Institute

Specifically this part: Hitler as he knows himself (worth reading)

Adolph's father, Alois Hitler, was the illegitimate son of Maria Anna Schicklgruber.
It is generally supposed that the father of Alois Hitler was a Johann Georg Hiedler, a miller's assistant.

There are some people who seriously doubt that Johann Georg Hiedler was the father of Alois. Thyssen and Koehler, for example, claim that Chancellor Dollfuss had ordered the Austrian police to conduct a thorough investigation into the Hitler family. As a result of this investigation a secret document was prepared which proved that Maria Anna Schicklgruber was living in Vienna at the time she conceived. At that time she was employed as a servant in the home of Baron Rothschild. As soon as the family discovered her pregnancy she was sent back to her home in Spital where Alois was born. If it is true that one of the Rothschilds is the real father of Alois Hitler, it would make Adolph a quarter Jew

Which contradicts the name given in the Jerusalem Post piece. Not Frankenberger, but Rothschild?

Would the OSS have been able to track down reliable information on Adolph whoever?
I would assume they could have. You?

And if this statement, attributed to Adolph Hitler in 1920 is correct..
Was Hitler a Zionist?

'Let him (the Jew) look for human rights where he belongs: in his own state of Palestine.'
Adolf Hitler - April 1920
And what about this? The Transfer Agreement

During the first months of the Hitler regime, leaders of the Zionist movement concluded a controversial pact with the Third Reich which, in its various forms, transferred some 60,000 Jews and $100 million---to Jewish Palestine. In return, Zionists would halt the worldwide Jewish-led anti-nazi boycott that threatened to topple the Hitler regime in its first year. Ultimately, the Transfer Agreement saved lives, rescued assets, and seeded the infrastructure of the Jewish State to be.

So, thanks to Hitler, Israel exists? The Ultimate Zionist achievement?

CIA, MKUltra and the Military Contracting of Psychiatrists and Psychologists. Ethics? What Ethics?

Yesterday while searching about for something to put up here, I came across an interesting story on the CIA and MKUltra experimentation, then I realized aangirfan had covered it here.

After I was done cursing those "school girls" for scooping an excellent story on the CIA's experimentation on children. I narrowed my search down to one individual in that story, and lo and behold up pops this massive article on Ethics of CIA and Military Contracting by Psychiatrists and Psychologists

This had the DSM's latest changes ringing in my ears....who are these so called changes really benefiting???

I have digressed briefly, but relevantly, so let's get back to Drugs the CIA, Psychiatrists and Military Contracting

There have been extensive, systematic violations of human rights by American psychiatrists, psychologists, and neurosurgeons throughout the second half of the twentieth century. These violations have occurred at the leading medical schools with funding from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the U.S. military.

There was extensive involvement of psychiatrists and psychologists in CIA and military mind control experimentation at the major medical schools in North America throughout the second half of the 20th century. Participation of psychiatrists and psychologists in ongoing, classified mind control programs, for instance, the Behavioral Science Consultation Teams operating at Guantanamo Bay, must involve continued systematic violation of human rights.

The first major manufacturer and distributor of LSD in North America was Eli Lilly Company, manufacturer of Prozac. LSD was discovered by Albert Hoffman, a chemist at the Sandoz pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, in 1943 (Lee & Shlain, 1985). In the early 1950s, according to documents obtained from the CIA through the Freedom of Information Act, the CIA was concerned that the Russians were trying to buy the entire world ' s supply of LSD (Ross, 2006). Both sides were using the drug for mind control, brainwashing, and interrogation.

The CIA wanted to develop a secure domestic supply of LSD. In 1953, the CIA therefore signed a $400,000 contract with Eli Lilly Company to manufacture and supply LSD. This was done under Subproject 18 of the CIA ' s MKULTRA mind control program.

The first people to take LSD in North America were psychiatrists, military personnel, and CIA officers. America was introduced to LSD by psychiatrists.

LSD experimentation on soldiers by the U.S. Army continued at least till the late 1970s, according to Senate testimony by army medical personnel. Other drugs first introduced into American culture by CIA psychiatrists include psilocybin and PCP or " angel dust. "

Psychiatrists gave LSD and mescaline to children in massive doses in the 1950s and 1960s. Dr. Lauretta Bender, a child psychiatrist, gave street-level hallucinogenic doses of LSD and mescaline to children aged 5 to 10 years old. Some children received doses daily for weeks, months, or even years at a time.

Psychiatrists and neurosurgeons at Harvard, Yale, and Tulane implanted electrodes in the brains of children and adults on contract to the U.S. Army and the Office of Naval Research. At Yale, Dr. Jose Delgado (1955, 1959, 1979) developed a technique for stimulating the implanted brain electrodes using remote radio transmitters. He performed these experiments on children as young as 11 years of age, and also on cats and monkeys

Dr. Louis Jolyon West was a MKULTRA contractor with top secret clearance . He attempted to set up a center for the study of violence while he was chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at UCLA. He recruited Dr. Frank Ervin, one of the Harvard brain electrode psychiatrists (Mark & Ervin, 1970), to work in his center. The center was never opened due to public protest. One of the potential projects was to insert brain electrodes into violent criminals.

Dr. Delgado (1969) wrote a book called Physical Control of the Mind: Towards a Psycho- Civilized Society. In it he described a utopian society of the future in which an elite squad of mind control doctors controlled the entire populace through implanted brain electrodes.

The brain electrode implant experiments were done for no therapeutic purpose, and were based on unscientific diagnoses and unproven, unscientific treatment methods. They were unethical and harmful. They must have caused permanent brain damage and the complications included brain infections, strokes, and death. There was no meaningful follow-up of subjects. There was no real informed consent. Subjects were not protected by the advice of independent counsel. Subjects were often criminals, orphans, psychiatric patients, drug addicts, or other individuals who could not resist.

Utopian for who? It's is as good a time as any to share a quote from Zbigniew Brzezinski.
You may have read it before? You may not have? If you haven't, read it now-

The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.
A more controlled society? Dominated by an elite unrestrained by traditional value?

Ponder that...and I will get back to the mind control article.

It covers the Manchurian Candidate experimentation. Then goes on to the False Memory Syndrome.

Drs. Orne and Dr. West advised the CIA on how to create iatrogenic multiple personality disorder, and they spoke with, published with, and reviewed the work of other mind control contractors including G. H. Estabrooks. (this is a name that has been mentioned on the blog previously, a master at hypnotism)

Dr. West and Dr. Orne, before their deaths, were both members of the Scientific and Professional Advisory Board of the False Memory Syndrome Foundation, an organization that claims that most, if not all, clinically diagnosed cases of multiple personality disorder are iatrogenic (resulting from the activities of doctors)

The fact that both Dr. West and Dr. Orne were top secret contractors on CIA programs designed to create iatrogenic multiple personality disorder must surely introduce a possibility of bias and vested interest.

Their bias and vested interest could run a number of ways. First- They may wish to take credit for being capable of implanting false memories. As if they were successful at their experimentation. That is one angle.

However, another agenda may be at play. If they were indeed successful at creating Manchurian candidates, or just the conducting of brutal experiments, these doctors and others like them may use the claim of false implanted memories to cover up for the extreme abuses the multitudes of patients suffered at the hands of these so called doctors and their CIA backed, taxpayer funded experimentation. Young children, orphans, mentally incapable persons, abused by the mind control system and the claim that let's the abusive doctors off the hook??
It is not a real memory. It was just implanted by the doctor.

Operation Midnight Climax-
I did an entire post on this one previously

For instance, under MKULTRA, CIA officer George White constructed safe houses in New York and San Francisco that were decorated like brothels. CIA officers watched through one-way mirrors while prostitutes the CIA had hired had sex with men they had picked up at bars. The prostitutes gave the johns LSD without their knowledge. The purpose of the experiments was to determine the effects of LSD on unwitting subjects in a natural setting. Dr. James Hamilton, a Stanford psychiatrist who worked as a CIA contractor under MKSEARCH, participated in these LSD-prostitute experiments.
Unethical mind control experimentation is a political abuse of psychiatry. Under the guise of medical research, human beings have been subjected to unethical experiments for the benefit of the state. This abuse of psychiatry has occurred at all the major medical schools in North America. It has been pervasive and extensive. Many of the leading figures in psychiatry have either participated directly or looked the other way while friends and colleagues received grants and promotions.

So much for the hypocritcal oath, "do no harm"

We can't kid ourselves that this kind of stuff is 'just not happening at this time' or it is 'all in the past'. It isn't! June 19th/2010 I put up an article about Doctors in the employ of the CIA who aid in torture

This article was based on a brand spanking new report that had been released regarding medical professionals, involved in CIA interrogations of terrorism SUSPECTS, engaging in forms of human research and experimentation in violation of medical ethics and domestic and international law.

Nothing has changed.

20% of our Genes already patented by private companies

So, how do you humans feel about this?

One-fifth of the human genome is currently controlled by companies that have received patents issued by the U.S. government. More than 40,000 gene patents have been awarded to biotechnology businesses, with even more on the way, what with three million gene patent applications having been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Critics of gene patenting question why the federal government has allowed the human genome to become proprietary possessions of business, given that genes are discovered, not invented.
The legality of human-gene patenting, which began in 1990, came into question during a recent court case, when, in March, U.S. District Judge Robert W. Sweet struck down the patent claims of Myriad Genetics, which had been selling genetic screening for breast and ovarian cancer.

Myself, I don't feel very good about this at all

Morality, is an oxymoron, for the Israeli Defence Forces

As I was contemplating today's post, wondering, what to blog about today....
There is always so much to cover!
When I came across this - Army shocked by 'flotilla looters'
In reference to the IDF soldiers stealing from the Gaza bound flotilla aid workers.

Yes, the IDF is shocked. Shocked they say!

"If the suspicions prove to be true, there must be a serious problem in the IDF in terms of values"

That sentence made me laugh, the irony. Values in the IDF?
Let's take a look at the so called 'values' the IDF (Israeli Defence Forces) have.
Another story on the IDF perpetrated Gaza flotilla thievery

Second lieutenant arrested along with six other soldiers earlier this week on suspicion of stealing at least(?) six laptop computers from Gaza-bound aid flotilla.

Of course Israel claims no one reported laptops stolen. Quoting from first news story-
"The IDF did not receive complaints of stolen computers"

Which is nonsense, as I recall reading numerous complaints of stolen property.
From this story;

Complaints by flotilla passengers about stolen equipment surfaced not long after the raid. Activists told the British Guardian in June that credit cards confiscated by the IDF had been used.

But, the IDF was unaware?! And didn't receive complaints. Utter nonsense.

I will agree there are serious problems within the IDF. In terms of values and morals that are not shocking in the least. They start at the top and go on down.....
An arguement could be made that the problem is societal, much larger then just the military alone, but for today we will stick with the IDF.

So we have soldiers that looted property (laptops, credit cards) from flotilla passengers, that the IDF claims they had no knowledge of...... and of course are making the usual claim it is a few bad apples. Or in this case a few bad weeds.

Let's take a look at another news story making the rounds this week.
More 'bad apples/weeds' in the IDF.

Eden Abergail and her trophy photos.
- Eden has defended her action by saying “in war there are no rules“.
While having the "best time of her life" which included happy poses beside Palestinians prisoners. The "best time of her life"? How sick is this individual?

Let her words speak for her-

"I can’t afford to have Arab—lovers ruin the perfect life I’m leading!!! I am not sorry and I do not regret it.”

“I hate Arabs and wish them all the worst. I would gladly kill them all and even butcher them; one cannot forget their actions.”

But is this obvious psychopath (definition below) Eden Abergail really just a single bad apple?

(psychopath- n. A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse.)

-IDF soldiers arrested over alleged mistreatment of Palestinian detainees

5 Nahal Haredi soldiers suspected of taking their photographs alongside bound detainees, as well as two cases of drug use.

Another 5!

And look more photos

Breaking the Silence, an organisation that collects testimonies from soldiers serving in the West Bank, uploaded new images including a group of soldiers posing next to a seriously wounded Palestinian lying on the floor and a picture of a soldier pointing a rifle at a prisoner stripped to his underwear.

While the Israeli media and government want you to believe the bad apple propaganda, when it comes to Eden Abergail's photo diary. The truth is, this type of treatment is widespread amongst IDF soldiers.

Meanwhile, supporters of Ms Abergil set up a new Facebook page yesterday entitled: “We’re all with Eden Abergil.” They also posted fresh images of troops posing in front of Palestinian prisoners.

Hurray, more images from more psychopaths! Suddenly the bad apple has turned into an entire orchard!
While I have your attention, or should I say, since we are already standing in an orchard full of bad, rotting apples, let's delve a little more into the actions of the "most moral army in the world".( As claimed by Ehud Barak, a man that certainly knows morality.)

You may or may not have known, because it certainly didn't garner any attention in the western media, but Israel took a look at it's conduct during operation Cast Lead. Their actions, at least the ones they admitted to are ugly, abusive and horrific. It indicates, again, that the problems within the IDF have nothing to do with bad apples or weeds that need pulling. The problems are widespread.

New Israeli report on Operation Cast Lead confirms Goldstone report’s main findings
IDF confirms over 20 gravest findings of the Goldstone Report

Several of the most dramatic instances of war crimes, which previously stirred Israel’s defenders into fits, are now publicly admitted by the IDF in the recent update to its official response (which can be found here).

Some examples of war crimes include:

-White phosphorous in urban areas
-The murder of two unarmed Palestinians carrying white flags of surrender.
-Al-Samouni family massacre:
-Firing on Al Maqadmah and other mosques during prayer time.
-The use of innocent Palestinians as human shields: The Goldstone report explains that in order “to carry out house searches as human shields the Israeli soldiers took off AD/03’s blindfold but he remained handcuffed. He was forced to walk in front of the soldiers and told that, if he saw someone in the house but failed to tell them, he would be killed. He was instructed to search each room in each house cupboard by cupboard. After one house was completed he was taken to another house with a gun pressed against his head and told to carry out the same procedure there. He was punched, slapped and insulted throughout the process.” The new Israeli report identifies this anonymous human shield AD/03 and confirms this episode. Other cases of human shield use, e.g. Abbas Ahmad Ibrahim Halawa and Mahmoud Abd Rabbo al-Ajrami, were also confirmed.

Thievery, prisoner abuse, the use of white phosphorous, human shields, massacring entire families etc., etc.,

There are problems in the IDF, cleary it is not limited to a few, it is spread throughout the entire military.

One last item, an image, which speaks volumes of the 'morality' of the IDF.

Profits of doom

I am going to post excerpts, as this article is very lengthy and fairly indepth.
But..... Worth reading. Especially if you have been mislead into thinking big oil will finally be served up it's 'just desserts' when all the energy 'goes green' ( Like the bogus "clean coal and of coarse "green nuclear", imagine rolling eyes)

I have maintained all along, that big oil has their foot firmly planted in profit making that comes from the theory of man made global warming. Higher energy prices, carbon capture etc., Big Oil is there. As are the big banks. Especially Goldman-Sachs.

-Fast forward to 2010, and with the dirty stain of oil spreading inexorably over the clear blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, threatening to choke the delicate wetlands of Louisiana and Florida
you can't help but make a link between the warning and the business model of BP. But there is an even better reason to "Think BP" when you hear the Earth Institute's warnings: a key member of its advisory board is none other than Carl-Henric Svanberg, chairman of BP and now perhaps persona non grata.

My oh my Earth Institute and BP, why am I not surprised? And, it get's better......

But what could the head of an oil company offer to researchers dedicated to helping "the world pave a path toward sustainability"?

Answer- Help me to make money?

Big-money projects concerning nuclear power and the conversion of solid waste into usable energy: here, green values and business opportunities mesh perfectly.

"We are developing the next generation of carbon-capture and storage technologies, as well as working on questions related to renewable energy," continues the institute's website. And these are areas where there is a lot of money to be made.

And no surprise, Earth Institute is touting solutions that will help BP and others make alot of money.

Like the big banks, who have, as is the norm, spread their misery globally.

Meanwhile, sitting on the board of another virtuous-sounding group - the Alliance for Climate Protection (ACP) - is one of the world's most famous green champions, Al Gore, the former Democratic vice-president, who founded the organisation in 2006. Alongside him sits Theodore Roosevelt IV. An "active conservationist", Theodore the Fourth is a member of the Wilderness Society's governing council, chair of the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, a trustee for the World Resources Institute - and a managing director of Barclays Capital.

But, not just Barclays or BP, there are also the not so hidden hands of Goldman-Sachs (be sure to read my previous post, linked below Goldman and the Carbon Bubble)

Consider another environmental-economics powerhouse, Generation Investment Management (GIM). Yes, Gore founded it, too, but this time with the aid of David Blood - chief executive of Goldman Sachs Asset Management from 1999 to 2003.

Gordon Brown turned to a former World Bank chief economist for insight into the implications of a changing environment. The Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change was published in October 2006. Lord Stern is the epitome of a wise mandarin, equally comfortable advising on business or morality

Bankers for insight into the environment? Or morality for that matter? Um... Okay.

Bankers have one concern and one only, sucking every last cent out of humanities pocket. If they can use environmental concern to do so, they will. Infact, it is not to much of a stretch to imagine them engineering the idea of environmental concern, bringing their 'concerns' through think tanks that they serve on the boards of...., reported on by the main stream media, to create your perception of man-made global warming as a reality.

And, what about Hadley CRU?

Mind you, one forward-looking feature was established with the government's support for new "climate-research" centres, such as the Hadley Centre at the Met Office and the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. Research turned "decarbonisation" into a virtue - and a profitable one at that. Between 1990 and 2010, the Department of Energy provided a snug £180,293,252 for climate science research at the Hadley Centre.

Nice dollar amount to promote a specific agenda.
When you have the conclusion already at hand, you just make the science support it.
Rather like the intelligence fitting the policy in the lead up to the attack on Iraq??

It is economics, not environmentalism, that has driven the search for ethically superior energy from "clean" sources derived from previously sacrosanct areas of wilderness, the exploitation of which has suddenly been legitimised, perhaps as new "energy farms" or for "biofuels". Likewise, previously off-limits coastal areas have been designated as not only suitable but also positively benign sites on which to drill for oil and gas

After all, the long-term interest - one might say the fuel - propelling countries is money. We don't have an ethical foreign policy and we certainly don't have an ethical energy policy. With their pretensions to such, nations have found a way to infuse economic priorities with a virtuous, ecological, green tinge. It is greenwashing on a global scale.

So we sure as hell aren't getting ethical green policies that are going to change a dam thing!

I am going to skip through a bunch of this article to explain the some of the nonsense that is passing as 'green policies'. I have already mentioned the ill-named clean coal and clean green nuclear fuel nonsense.

Here is some more-

Although green groups may have revised their views on biofuels and may not like the policy now, they certainly helped to put it in place. As did Neste Oil, which just two years later, in May 2009, was able to lay the foundation stone for a renewable diesel plant in the port of Rotterdam. Neste's biodiesel is a blend of palm oil, rapeseed oil and waste animal fat. Its Rotterdam factory, at an estimated cost of €670 million.

But still, it is a good thing, isn't it? It is to save the planet, right? Not exactly. Biofuels make no sense economically or ecologically. As Alex Kaat, a spokesman for Wetlands International, an advocacy group based (like the Neste plant) in the Netherlands, puts it: "Deforestation and palm oil go hand in hand. It is definitely a very, very dirty fuel."

Then there is the issue of growing food crops for bio-fuel and starving people

By 2007, American farmers were already responding to the enticement of biofuel subsidies by planting more corn than at any point since 1944, in the process reducing rice, soybean and cotton crops to make room. In countries such as India, the price of rice jumped 10 per cent.
Yeah, clean nukes!

Canada has a nuclear industry to promote and happily backed a Kyoto protocol that made nuclear power "clean" again.

Consider today's post a follow up to this post and several other I have posted. Click on global warming label for additional info

70-79 % of the Oil from the Deepwater Horizon remains in the Gulf

Interesting, brief little video below.... Also, for your reading pleasure.

Directly contradicting the White House/BP line. White House official: 75% of oil gone
I guess the White House lying spokesperson really meant, 75 percent of the oil remains?

Keeping in mind that sadly, no pathetically this week-ends PR stunt by Obama, was the best bit of propaganda money could buy????
People are catching on because it appeared to fool no one.
Unless one wanted to be fooled?

There is a pill for everything, including grief and hoarding

I have covered other crazy ideas from lunatics backed by big pharma who decide what dis-eases are "psychiatric disorders" and require medication.

As mandated in the bible of disorders requiring pharmacological intervention, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders — perhaps better known as the D.S.M.

Here are two of the latest proposed changes that will require you to be medicated.

This first one contained in an op-ed here

If this suggestion is adopted, many people who experience completely normal grief could be mislabeled as having a psychiatric problem.

Suppose your spouse or child died two weeks ago and now you feel sad, take less interest and pleasure in things, have little appetite or energy, can’t sleep well and don’t feel like going to work. In the proposal for the D.S.M. 5, your condition would be diagnosed as a major depressive disorder.

This would be a wholesale medicalization of normal emotion, and it would result in the overdiagnosis and overtreatment of people who would do just fine if left alone to grieve with family and friends, as people always have. It is also a safe bet that the drug companies would quickly and greedily pounce on the opportunity to mount a marketing blitz targeted to the bereaved and a campaign to “teach” physicians how to treat mourning with a magic pill.

What is proposed for the D.S.M. 5 is a radical expansion of the boundary for mental illness that would cause psychiatry to intrude in the realm of normal grief.

Why is this such a bad idea?

First: it would give mentally healthy people the ominous-sounding diagnosis of a major depressive disorder, which in turn could make it harder for them to get a job or health insurance.

Second: there would be the expense and the potentially harmful side effects of unnecessary medical treatment. Because almost everyone recovers from grief, given time and support, this treatment would undoubtedly have the highest placebo response rate in medical history. After recovering while taking a useless pill, people would assume it was the drug that made them better and would be reluctant to stop taking it. Consequently, many normal grievers would stay on a useless medication for the long haul, even though it would likely cause them more harm than good.

Third: The bereaved would also lose the benefits that accrue from letting grief take its natural course. What might these be? No one can say exactly. But grieving is an unavoidable part of life — the necessary price we all pay for having the ability to love other people. Our lives consist of a series of attachments and inevitable losses, and evolution has given us the emotional tools to handle both

In other words, the process of grieving those we have lost is a human process, a survival process, an emotional process, that humans have developed because we love and care for people and when we lose them, it hurts. But, this is normal, this is natural.

Some people of course see us, humanity, to use Malthusian terms as "useless eaters"
As inconsequential or problematic. Keeping in mind that we are often referred to as consumers, rather then humans. Or in the corporate world we are resources, right, as in human resources. In other words we have been stripped of our humanity by persons with other agendas, other goals.

This is the case here with the inclusion of grief as a disorder. A psychiatric disorder.
Can't have the human resource distracted by grief when 'it' should be out consuming. Why experience a human emotion, and process it, reconcile it, come to terms with it. Just medicate yourself and further reduce your humanity, as so many already have, to the popping of a pill and simply drugging your grief away?

Good god, where does this nonsense end?

The next one I want to cover is Hoarding. Hoarding is something that all living creatures do. Usually in the form of food storage. Humans store food, and everyone should have a store of food for emergencies. People should also save money, for a rainy day. In other words they should hoard money for their own benefit. (Not the banks)

But now hoarding is being debated as a mental illness, requiring medication. Of course the most extreme case is being touted to demonstrate and justify the need for the classification of hoarding as a mental illness.

"Hoarding disorder" is being recommended for inclusion in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, or DSM, an enormously influential catalogue used daily by doctors worldwide that is undergoing its first major revision in nearly 20 years.

Should hoarding make it into the manual, two to five per cent of the Canadian population could be labelled as having a mental illness, according to studies being used to justify creating the new diagnosis. (think of the profits for big pharma)

But critics are uneasy, and question who decides when collecting and saving crosses the line from normal human behaviour to pathological.

"The DSM-5 drafters are having a lot of trouble separating eccentricity from illness," says Edward Shorter, a social historian of medicine at the University of Toronto and author of A History of Psychiatry: From the Era of the Asylum to the Age of Prozac.

"The real problem is psychiatry's inability to tell us what really does constitute illness - what is disease in psychiatry? - because there are so few objective standards, unlike any other field of medicine," Shorter says.

That is a real problem, and this problem is what allows a bunch of quacks, with an agenda, to get together and make decisions based on very little objective standards. What influences them? Who influences them?

"And if anything should go wrong, there's soma. Which you go and chuck out of the window in the name of liberty, Mr. Savage. Liberty!"
- Aldous Huxley,Brave New World, Ch. 16

Don't become an automaton. Don't march in lockstep.
Relish that which makes you human.
Your grief, your quirks, your loves and your hurts.
These are part and parcel of your human experience.

Obama's swim in the Gulf waters. Fact or Fiction?

While Obama may claim "gulf beaches are open for business".... Should they be?
Would you swim in the Gulf water? More importantly did Obama really swim in Gulf waters?
Reality or Perception Management?

Reporters weren't permitted to see the presidential torso splashing about, but the White House posted a photo online that showed him from the shoulder up.

The reason no photo's were allowed of Obama?

Obama joked that the last time he went to the beach without his shirt, pictures of his bare torso turned up on magazine covers. When a reporter joked that was a good thing, Michelle Obama, standing nearby, shook her head and said, smiling, "No, it's not."

So the reason no photographers were allowed? Obama's modesty? Obama's dignity?
Not likely. What was the real reason no photo's of the actual swim were allowed?

Perhaps, because it didn't happen as the White house PR machine want's you to believe.

Consider this?

The White house releases a photo. From the photo one cannot tell where Obama and daughter are actually swimming. There just together in some water, somewhere. But is it Gulf water?
You know water that is contaminated.

Strangely enough all the accompanying photographs or video scenes were taken at Alligator Point, Florida.
The highly anticipated dip was away from the media’s view. The Obamas swam in Saint Andrew Bay off of Alligator Point, technically not the Gulf, according to maps.

Therefore Obama may or may not have taken a swim. No photographers allowed.
If he did swim at all, it was in water that is not technically Gulf water.

My conclusion? Fiction. Just another PR stunt. Don't be fooled by it.

Iran nuclear power plant -start date August 21/2010

Three posts? In one day? What can I say.

Will this nuclear reactor even get started on this date? Will Israel attack within the week? Will the US? Who knows?

Keep in mind the bombing of Iraq's nuclear power plant -
June 7/1981:
Israel bombs Iraq's power plant

The Israelis have bombed a French-built nuclear plant near Iraq's capital, Baghdad, saying they believed it was designed to make nuclear weapons to destroy Israel.
What one believes and what reality is, can be vastly different.

Back to Iran's launch of the power plant
In the news Friday July 13/2010
Iran to gain nuclear power as Russia loads fuel into Bushehr reactor

After years of delay, uranium-packed fuel rods for 1,000-megawatt plant will be installed next week.

Russian and Iranian specialists are to begin loading uranium-packed fuel rods into the reactor on 21 August, a process that will take about two to three weeks. This will be a key step towards starting up the reactor, although it will not be considered operational from that date.

Russia to activate reactor at Iran's nuclear plant on Aug. 21

Russia is set to activate a reactor at Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant on Aug. 21, Russia's state-run atomic energy corporation Rosatom said Friday.

A Rosatom spokesman said Russia would help load the reactor with fuel, which would be a key step toward starting up the reactor at Iran's first nuclear power plant.

"The fuel will be loaded on Aug. 21," Rosatom spokesman Sergei Novikov was quoted by Itar-Tass news agency as saying.

"This is the start of the physical launch (of the reactor)," he said.

D.M. Murdock- Christ in Egypt and more

I listened to this interview, twice. I found it very interesting and it gave me alot to sort of mull over. Been meaning to get this one up for a while, so I hope you give it a listen, and leave your thoughts...

One thought I took away from this interview was how religion has been altered, adapted or manipulated, if I may, and how it is used to manage and control people. You may hear some things that will suprise you, I did.

One of the most controversial religious scholars in the entire world is my guest today.

D.M. Murdock, gained expertise in several religions, as well as knowledge about other esoterica and mystical subjects. She is the author of several books, including: The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold, Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled, Who Was Jesus: Fingerprints of The Christ and Christ in Egypt: The Horus-Jesus Connection.

Are Christianity and the story of Jesus based on more ancient sun worshiping religions? Does the story of Jesus have its roots in Horus, the ancient Egyptian Sun god? Today we’ll be discussing Acharya’s brand new book – Christ in Egypt.

The interview is from Gnostic Media

Israel's tree removal provocation and it's planned escalation

Getting briefly back to the exchange of fire at the disputed Israel/Lebanon border.
I just came across another interesting little tidbit in the news.
And, I quote-

UN Under-Secretary-General Alain LeRoy told reporters in New York on Aug. 4.
Israel rejected the UN’s offer to cut down the tree, he said.

Why would Israel do that?

Put that together with the fact, that as I had previously mentioned Israel had failed to notify the UN that they were removing the tree when they did.

Along with the fact that Israel had apparently not co-ordinated its gardening expedition with the Lebanese via the UN.

Then remember that this specific area where Israel was removing trees, was immediately disputed by Lebanon when the UN drew the arbitrary blue line

Lebanon had expressed reservations in 2000 when the Blue Line was delineated by the UN

Israel had a number of options regarding the disputed trees.

-Israel could have just left the trees knowing this was a disputed point along the blue line and that the tree was north of their own techinical border. But they didn't!

-Israel could have had the UN remove the trees. But, they didn't!

-Israel could have notified the UN who could have coordinated with the Lebanese, and supervised the tree removal. But, they didn't!

The only conclusion that can be drawn is that Israel was looking to provoke and that the tree removal excuse was a cover for the provocation. They wanted a response and they got it.

Also interesting was the intention by Israel to escalate this provocation into an all out attack.

Press reports on Wednesday said Arab states and Western countries, including Egypt, Jordan, France and the United States, made contacts at the highest levels of israel to prevent the Jewish state from launching a wide-scale military strike against the Lebanese army following the armed clashes last week in southern Lebanon.

French sources told Asharq Alawsat newspaper that the Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak told French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner in a telephone conversation after the deadly clash in southern Lebanon,Israel was "intending to carry out a major military operation to discipline the Lebanese army and to "retaliate for the killing of a senior Israeli officer."

In other words Israel was looking for a fight.

Abkhaz missiles, old news making the rounds now, WHY?

According to this news piece, and this news piece, the missiles were placed in Abkhazia possibly as long as two years ago, after the foolhearty attack on South Ossetia by Georgia.

(Heads-up, this is a long bit of news, no soundbite like the msm)
Washington is not surprised by reports that Russia deployed S-300 air-defense systems.

"I believe it's our understanding that Russia has had S-300 missiles in Abkhazia for the past two years," Philip Crowley, the department's assistant secretary, told a daily press briefing.

"There have been systems in Abkhazia for two years. We can't confirm whether they [Russia] have added to those systems or not... this is by itself is not necessarily a new development. That system has been in place for some time," he added.

But Sergey Shamba, the breakaway region's prime minister, later told the BBC that the missiles were in Abkhazia, and had already been there for about a year.

So what is going on? Why is this old news making the headline rounds at this time?
Why is the main stream media spinning this old news, as breaking news and even worse reporting it as if this is some new threat from Russia aimed at Georgia?

Let's see how the Georgian media is spinning this? Of course as an act of aggression.
Which is a bit of a stretch since it was Georgia that attacked South Ossetia two years ago.
The facts aside, What are Georgia's claims?

Breach of ceasefire-
"Obviously, such action is one more violation of Sarkozy-Mediated [six-point ceasefire] agreement.
Georgia under threat-
Georgia in view of even theoretical threats because S-300 is a long range missile.

It is NATO, which should be first and for most concerned about Russia's deployment of missiles
Time for a map, always handy for reference:

This one shows the semi-autonomous states of South Ossetia and Abkhazia
And all the countries I will be mention in relation to one another
(semi-autonomous is a misleading label, for all intents and purposes these states have been independant of Georgia for a long time now)

So this old news is making the rounds, at this time, to portray Georgia as a nation under threat.

Is it Georgia that is under threat? Or is this a ploy to justify an attack on the breakaway provinces, to distract Russia from any chance of engaging in, or assisting in, defending Iran should Israel and the US decide to attack? Which is almost inevitiable.

These missile deployments have alot to do with air defence, read on-

According to Russia’s air force Commander-in-Chief, Colonel-General Alexander Zelin, the purpose of these air defenses is to avert “border” violations in the air and destroy any aircraft penetrating those territories’ “air space.”

This next paragraph is important if we are to understand why Russia has deployed these missiles and how it plays into what is looking like an inevitable attack on Iran.

The Russian deployment’s most likely goal is to create a capability for interdicting Georgian, or indeed US and NATO, flights over the adjacent Black Sea area, Georgia’s interior, and the South Caucasus air corridor. Russian interdiction capability can deter Georgia, the United States and its allies from using those flight paths in certain contingencies; or can compel them to clear their flight plans with Russia in certain contingencies. Such contingencies may include another Russian invasion of Georgia complete with an air blockade; or US air operations in the South Caucasus, in the context of possible hostilities with Iran; or demonstrating Russian air interdiction capability along the allied supply corridor to Central Asia and Afghanistan.
There are some other happenings mentioned in above article that are worth considering-

In 2008, Russia successfully pressured Israel to cease delivering UAV’s (?) (and, afterward, any military equipment) to Georgia. Despite its special relationship with Georgia, Israel complied when Moscow threatened to deliver S-300 air defense systems to Iran and heavy rockets to Hezbollah.

That sentence is a bit misleading, when read properly, Israel did not necessarily comply until Russia threatened to deliver missile systems to Iran, which happened in 2010.
So it is entirely possible Israel has continued to deliver weapons after the Georgian invasion up until the Iranian missile deal seemed to have fallen through. It is worth mentioning that Russia is still considering that deal. Continuing on.....
Under a Russian-drafted protocol, expected to be signed by Presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Serge Sarksyan in Yerevan shortly, Armenia will extend Russia’s basing rights in Armenia for decades to come. The existing agreement, signed in 1995, entitles Russia to use the Gyumri base in Armenia (on the Turkish border) for 25 years, (until 2020). The additional protocol, as confirmed by Armenia’s National Security Council Secretary, Artur Bagdasarian, would extend that period past 2020 for another 24 years, or a total of 49 years until 2044, “with the possibility of subsequent extensions.” Moreover, the protocol would broaden the scope of Russian troops’ mission so as to include defense of Armenia Additionally:

Armenia To Seek ‘Long-Range’ Weapons

Armenia plans to acquire long-range precision-guided weapons and will be ready to use them in possible armed conflicts with hostile neighbors.

It was not immediately clear whether Yerevan’s desire to get hold of more powerful weapons is connected with a new Russian-Armenian military agreement expected to be signed soon. The agreement will reportedly take the form of significant changes in a 1995 treaty regulating the presence of a Russian military base in Armenia.

Besides Armenia, the map include Azerbaijan

Anti-aircraft missiles to Azerbaijan a 'good deal' for Russia

Click on a label below, I have covered this area of the world previously.

Things are heating up, definitely. Possibly Georgia, backed this time by NATO will attack one of the 'semi-autonomous' states, while Israel and the US launch an attack on Iran.
Hope I am wrong, but, this is a definite possibility.

Gaza flotilla inquiry - Lots of fallacies, shortage of facts

Trying to find something factual or based in reality regarding the Gaza flotilla inquiry.

It's tough. TIME's article is total bullshit, IMO.

Yeah Netanyahu and Ehud Barak gave conflicting testimony
Surely, well planned.

But, some of the points in the TIME article are nonsensical

"The commandos who descended from helicopters onto the deck of the Mavi Marama had no idea that the Turkish activists on the deck below were spoiling for a fight with the Israeli military. Their vulnerability — the first down the ropes wielded paintball guns"

Utter bullshit. No mention of the live fire prior to the boarding of the ship. Oh and btw, paintball guns don't kill people, real bullets kill people.
From what I had read the paintball angle had alread been discreditted, but, that didn't stop TIME from regurgitating nonsense.
BBC confirms IDF boarded Mavi Marmara with UZI Sub-machine guns, NOT paintball guns as claimed

No mention of this:

Clarification/Correction Regarding Audio Transmission Between Israeli Navy and Flotilla on 31 May 2010, Posted on 5 June 2010

IDF acknowledgement of faked audio recording.

I guess, TIME would not want to confuse their readers minds with reality, when some politcally correct fictional version will do the job..........

The one thing I can agree with is this : Turkish FM: Israel must bear responsibility for attack on 'Flotilla of Freedom'

"Israel must bear responsibility for the murder of innocent civilians in open seas and not blame us" (Turkey)

So, I will repost this video as a reminder of how much the main stream media fabricates reality
I had this posted immediately after the murders of the aid workers. Listen to the live fire, see the blood. See the wounded. Prior to the boarding. Watch the boarding. As it happened.

Additionally, I recall this video
IDF soldiers ending the life of one aid worker, after brutally beating him.
Paintballs don't kill, but guns with real ammo most certainly do.

Rabbi's and their Torah inspired wartime 'morals'

Now for something a little different.
Often via the main stream media we read or are told of Islams tendencies towards violence.
But, how about Judaism?
This news story is quite interesting, yet, will not gain widespread western media coverage.
Why? To put it simply, it isn't about Muslims.

Following Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira's controversial book laying out Torah wartime morals, book's supporters suspected of incitement refuse to cooperate with investigation. 'Torah not open to investigation,' they say.

I didn't get the impression anyone wanted to 'investigate' the Torah.
Nice job muddying the waters.
Rather this is about religious fanaticism and a call to murder by followers of Judaism.

So, let me quote from the article-

The two rabbis say that the book, "Torat Hamelech," sets out how to behave in times of war and explains wartime morals according to the holy Torah.
The book claims that it is permissible to kill someone who wants to kill you, and that it is permissible to harm someone who shields an enemy in order to preserve the lives of our citizens and soldiers.

They assert that the Torah's moral codes must guide the entire IDF and any judicial system which aims to operate according to the truth. (fanatical holy war)

But, the assertation of who to commit violence and murder against, go further then just warfare-

Shapira, from the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar, wrote in his book, "When we encounter a gentile who has violated the Seven Laws of Noah and kill him out of concern for upholding the seven mitzvoth, no prohibition has been violated."

I am wondering, would this gentile even know what the hell this is about?
Speaking as a gentile, I don't have a clue. Comforting to know someone like me could be killed for this violation of some nonsensical religious law.

Wait there is more!

"Anywhere where the presence of a gentile poses a threat to Israel, it is permissible to kill him, even if it is a righteous gentile who is not responsible for the threatening situation."

Wow! Anywhere, just the presence of a gentile (racist labelling, btw) that a follower of Judaism thinks is posing a threat, real or imaginary, KILL'EM! Even if they haven't done anything!

Blueprint for a global currency- the bancor

Isn't this interesting??? Global government. Global Currency.
From the Financial Times of London Lamenting the fact that they missed this little goodie from the IMF, which came out in a public policy paper April 2010.

"FT Alphaville missed this IMF paper when it first came out in April, 2010.
(links to the document)

Authored by Reza Moghadam, director of the IMF’s strategy, policy and review department, it discusses how the IMF sees the International Monetary System evolving after the financial crisis.

In the eyes of the IMF at least, the best way to ensure the stability of the international monetary system (post crisis) is actually by launching a global currency.

And that, the IMF says, is largely because sovereigns — as they stand — cannot be trusted to redistribute surplus reserves, or battle their deficits, themselves.

Or as they put it-

The global crisis of 2008/09, for all its costs, has not jeopardized international monetary stability, and the IMS is not on the verge of collapse. That said, the current system has serious imperfections that feed and facilitate policies—of reserves accumulation and reserves creation—that are ultimately unsustainable and, until they are reversed, expose the system to risks and shocks that a reformed system could minimize.

All in all, the IMF believes there has simply been too much reserve hoarding going on:

Reserve accumulation has accelerated dramatically in the past decade, particularly since the 2003-4. At the end of 2009, reserves had risen to 13 percent of global GDP, doubling from their 2000 level, and over 50 percent of total imports of goods and services. Emerging market holdings rose to 32 percent of their GDP (26 percent excluding China). Twenty-seven of the top 40 reserve holders, accounting for over 90 percent of total reserve holdings, recorded doubledigit average growth in reserves over 1999-2008.

Holdings have also become increasingly concentrated, with over half the total held by only five countries. These numbers exclude substantial foreign assets of the official sector not recorded as reserves, including in sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), and yet invested in liquid, dollar denominated financial instruments, that have grown even more in recent years.1

Of course, in the first instance, the solution probably lies in closer collaboration between sovereigns, most likely via the more active use of such things as special drawing rights, says the IMF.

But in the end, a global currency makes the most sense, the paper concludes — especially since the SDR is currently just an accounting tool that draws on the freely usable currencies of member states , not an actual currency itself.

As they summarise: (Pg.26 of the pdf link)

48. From SDR to bancor. A limitation of the SDR as discussed previously is that it is not a currency. Both the SDR and SDR-denominated instruments need to be converted eventually to a national currency for most payments or interventions in foreign exchange markets, which adds to cumbersome use in transactions.

And though an SDR-based system would move away from a dominant national currency, the SDR’s value remains heavily linked to the conditions and performance of the major component countries. A more ambitious reform option would be to build on the previous ideas and develop, over time, a global currency. Called, for example, bancor in honor of Keynes, such a currency could be used as a medium of exchange—an “outside money” in contrast to the SDR which remains an “inside money”.

A global currency?! No surprise there! Hasn't this whole banksters manufactured crisis been leading right towards that inevitable outcome. Global Control!
