Pakistan halting NATO supplies on vital route

This is interesting......
In yesterday's post I mentioned that the west was touting the fact that their attacks on Pakistan had, as is claimed, 'pre-empted' terror in Europe.
Which is utter nonsense as the drone and helicopter attacks have been killing all manner of persons in Pakistan for some time now, much to Pakistan's chagrin and pre-empting nothing.
The latest twist in the war on Pakistan, that no one is calling a war, has Pakistan halting vital NATO supplies! This is going to get even uglier.

NATO forces killed 3 Pakistani soldiers in cross border raids.
NATO is, of course, denying the killings.
Pakistani authorities blocked a vital supply route for NATO troops fighting in Afghanistan on Thursday, angered by a cross-border NATO airstrike that killed three Pakistani soldiers, officials said.
Trucks and fuel tankers for foreign forces in Afghanistan were stopped at Torkham border post in Khyber tribal region near the city of Peshawar, hours after the raid, the fourth reported by Pakistani authorities in recent days.
"Yes, the NATO supplies have been stopped. It has been done locally," an anonymous source.
A spokeswoman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Kabul, however, said none of its helicopters had crossed into Pakistani airspace and the incident was under investigation.

Here is what happened according to Pakistan:

Early on Thursday, two NATO helicopters from Afghanistan attacked a border village in Pakistan's Kurram region, the Pakistani security official said.

"The helicopters shelled the area for about 25 minutes. Three of our soldiers manning a border post were killed and three wounded," he said

NATO's claim:
"Helicopters targeted militants in Afghanistan's eastern Paktia province, opposite Kurram, and they did not cross into Pakistan".

I am going to be upfront, I don't believe NATO, I don't believe the claims made by their spokespersons. Here's why? The article ends with this-

The United States has stepped up missile strikes by unmanned drone planes in Pakistan's northwest, carrying out 20 in September alone, the highest for a month since it began such attacks in 2008."

Since the US has been stepping up attacks for the entire month of September, there is no reason to believe that this cross border attack was not launched.

Consider this? This is not the first incursion NATO has made in Pakistani territory in recent days that has raised serious security concerns for Pakistan!

Pakistan furious over Nato cross-border 'Taliban' raids
As reported on Monday, NATO crossed over the border from Afghanistan purportedly to kill Taliban fighters in Pakistan. This incursion (on Monday) came hot on the heels of two previous incursion into Pakistan territory.

The admission that two incursions had taken place over the weekend by helicopters from the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (Isaf), and possibly a further cross-border raid today

Making the fourth incursion into Pakistan territory the "straw that broke the camels back" and the reason Pakistan is blockading a vital NATO supply line. Still, something else.

Reports of a covert CIA military force in Afghanistan that crosses into Pakistan

Of course the claims are made that these covert operations are targeting Taliban and AlQaeda fighters. Baloney! This is to wage covert, under the radar war, on Pakistan.

Pakistan's foreign ministry condemned the incursions as a "clear violation and breach of the UN mandate

"In the absence of immediate corrective measures, Pakistan will be constrained to consider response options," said Abdul Basit, the foreign ministry spokesman

Hence the cutting off of the Khyber pass supply route happening today.

No wonder the western media is spinning the so called terror attack on Europe as the justification for the attacks on Pakistan.

A brief digression. I watched some tv programming to see if the European wide austerity protests got any coverage. I did not see them mentioned, but, the so called terror attacks got lots of play. No surprise. The media sells the fear, not the empowerment.

If I may take a bit more of your time up? Indulge me, please. While I continue to make the case that the incursions into Pakistan are intentional, including under the radar warfare to destabilize Pakistan.

I would like to direct your attention over to this article and video, an interview with Bob Woodward. Obama Out Of Afghanistan 'Psychologically,' Woodward Says

Obama is out of Afghanistan, and where do you think he is? He is in Pakistan. He is waging war on Pakistan.

"President Obama believes that "the cancer is in Pakistan,"

"We need to make clear to people that the cancer is in Pakistan," he declared during an Oval Office meeting on Nov. 25, 2009, near the end of the strategy review. The reason to create a secure, self-governing Afghanistan, he said, was "so the cancer doesn't spread there."

Obama talked about threats from Pakistan in December 2009 when he made the case for a surge of 30,000 troops in Afghanistan.

The U.S. has increased its drone attacks in Pakistan. ABC News reports that so far there have been 20 drone attacks in September.

Woodward's book also reveals that the CIA directs a 3,000-man army within Pakistan called the "Counterterrorism Pursuit Team."

Oh and btw -Dave McGowan???

In case you have been wondering about Dave McGowan????

Dave's regular appearances at Meria Heller's are on a temporary hold. Seems Dave has some personal issues not limited to, but including, IRS problems. Meria mentioned this last week.
Somehow, I am not surprised.
Isn't the IRS the government agency that often harasses people for no good reason?
Anyway... there will be some delay in new Laurel Canyon material, or any other material for that matter.
I do hope Dave get's all his issues resolved as quickly and painlessly as possible.
I sure do miss his appearances on Meria's show and updates at his own site.
Best of luck to ya Dave!

Thwarted terror attacks distract from war on Pakistan and austerity for the people of Europe

A few varying news items. You may think they are not connected, but, I contend they are.

Apparently a "Mumbai type" terror attack in Europe was foiled.

Intelligence sources revealed that militants based in Pakistan, thought to be linked to Al Qaeda, were planning simultaneous strikes on and other European cities.
The plot was in the "advanced but not in the imminent stages"

Notice how vague all that is? "thought to be linked to Alqaeda"?
Despite the claim that "plotters had been tracked by spy agencies for some time, the intelligence sources said."

The intelligence sources said? No names? No one wants to take credit for this spectacular arrest?
And despite being tracked, it is just a thought that this is Al Qaeda linked.
Hhm! Maybe it is not really a thought, maybe it was a feeling, a tea leaf reading???

The plot was in the "advanced but not imminent" stage.

Advanced, another vague term. How advanced? Define advanced? Somebody write a note to someone else? Did someone buy a book that could be construed as being connected to "terrorism" Did someone attend a service at a mosque? How advanced?
No mention, no clarification.

Luckily the US has been bombing Pakistan and killing all manner of persons. Because somehow this "pre-emptive" bombing of Pakistan may have actually prevented any more advancement of the planning of this attack? Or so follows the logic?
Terror plot against Britain thwarted by drone strike

Except, the drone attacks in Pakistan have been killing a lot of innocent people for some time now. Oh and there is another problem. The US likes to pretend they are not attacking Pakistan, even though they are making war on Pakistan regularly.

It is all good you see, since the US preemptively attacks Pakistan they have prevented a terror attack in Europe. Are you following that logic?

Yes, the latest attacks left 60 Dead as Helos, Drones Strike in Pakistan (But Don’t Call it a War)
Call it terror prevention? Because that is how it is being spun. When that stops working the war on Pakistan will be rebranded.

So we have covered the connection between the pre emptive attacks on Pakistan and the so called terror attack arrests.
But, the news of these arrests has also knocked off the radar screen another serious story.
The European economy is bad, really bad. And Europe is taking it to the streets!

Brussels braces for day of Europe-wide protest

Police barricaded banks and shops and ringed European Union headquarters, where labour leaders are hoping to mass up to 100,000 people from 30 countries in the afternoon to say "No to austerity!".
Anti-austerity protests sweep across Europe
Anti-austerity protests erupted across Europe on Wednesday — Greek doctors and railway employees walked out, Spanish workers shut down trains and buses, and one man even blocked the Irish parliament with a cement truck to decry the country's enormous bank bailouts.
clear pixel clear pixelWorkers in Europe Protest Austerity Measures

The banks didn't have austerity. They got bailed out. Austerity measures are now being pushed on the people of Europe.

Governments in Britain, Germany Belgium and elsewhere were forced to use billions of euros of taxpayer money to shore up a banking sector that went into near meltdown after the collapse of U.S. Lehman Brothers bank two years ago.
Good thing that pesky terror attack was pre-emptively pre-empted...

Knocking the news of European wide protests, austerity measures and banker bail-outs off the main stage and onto the side stage. Where it can be ignored.

Because fear, fear, terror, terror is all you need to think about.

Pentagon buys and destroys books critical of Afghanistan war

Still believe you are free from censorship?

The federal government bought and oversaw the destruction of 9,500 copies of the book "Operation Dark Heart" by Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer.

The U.S. Department of Defense acquired the book's first press run and destroyed them.

Defense spokeswoman Lt. Col. Rene White said Macmillan Sept. 20 "pulped and recycled the books ... they definitely did not burn them ... ." Defense Department personnel observed the operation.

Does it matter the method of destruction? The fact is the government bought the books and paid for them to be destroyed, censoring opinion and denying the empowerment that knowledge brings

For the second run of the book
"In an agreement with the publisher, St. Martin's Press, specified portions of the book to be blacked out or "redacted"

USDA unconcerned about Round-up and GM crops. Monsanto employs Blackwater.

How did I miss these two stories? No matter I found them now
I am only going to excerpt from this first article because it is extremely lengthy
Kremer's lab is housed at the University of Missouri and is literally in the shadow of Monsanto Auditorium, named after the $11.8 billion-a-year agricultural giant Monsanto Co.. Based in Creve Coeur, Missouri, the company has accumulated vast wealth and power creating chemicals and genetically altered seeds for farmers worldwide.

But recent findings by Kremer and other agricultural scientists are raising fresh concerns about Monsanto's products and the Washington agencies that oversee them. The same seeds and chemicals spread across millions of acres of U.S. farmland could be creating unforeseen problems in the plants and soil, this body of research shows.

Kremer and other scientists are turning up potential problems with glysophate, more commonly known as Round-Up.

Kremer, expressed alarm that regulators were not paying enough attention to the potential risks from biotechnology on the farm, including his own research.

Concerns range from worries about how nontraditional genetic traits in crops could affect human and animal health to the spread of herbicide-resistant weeds

There are many people on both sides of the debate who say that the current U.S. regulatory apparatus is ill-equipped to adequately address the concerns.

Many experts say the U.S. government does more to promote global acceptance of biotech crops than to protect the public from possible harmful consequences.

(The government as the salesman for agribusiness, priceless)

We don't have a robust enough regulatory system to be able to give us a definitive answer about whether these crops are safe or not. We simply aren't doing the kinds of tests we need to do to have confidence in the safety of these crops,"

"The U.S. response (to questions about biotech crop safety) has been an extremely patronizing one. They say "We know best, trust us"

A common complaint is that the U.S. government conducts no independent testing of these biotech crops before they are approved, and does little to track their consequences after.

The developers of these crop technologies, including Monsanto and its chief rival DuPont, tightly curtail independent scientists from conducting their own studies.

And this story!

Monsanto and Blackwater. Yup, you read that right Monsanto employed a Blackwater subsidiary to spy on activists, blogs and websites. Which explains why every time I post a story on Monsanto, lo and behold, they appear. Let's see if it happens with this one?

Into this unsavory milieu stepped Monsanto in 2008, Scahill reports. The agribusiness giant was one of a group of transnationals -- others include Chevron, the Walt Disney Company, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Deutsche Bank, and Barclays -- that hired a Blackwater shell company called "Total Intelligence Solutions" for overseas services.

In an email obtained by Scahill, a Blackwater operative who had talked to Monsato officials ahead of the hiring claimed that the security firm would "develop into acting as intel arm of Monsanto" -- including infiltrating activist groups working to oppose it. The operative wrote hopefully of Monsato's "generous protection budget."

A Monsanto official told Scahill that the relationship ended in early in 2010 and denied that there were ever plans to infiltrate activist groups. Instead, he said, Blackwater served Monsanto "by monitoring local media reports and other publicly available information." Scahill adds: "The subject matter ranged from information regarding terrorist incidents in Asia or kidnappings in Central America to scanning the content of activist blogs and websites"

Go to the link and you will notice a Monsanto shill, under the name of Mica V, shows up to leave commentary or plausible deniability, whatever?

UN to appoint space ambassador to greet alien visitors

Ok, where to begin... I am of the opinion all this recent news of alien visitation is setting us up for the next psy-op. John over at Paintings Art Etc. mentions this in one of his comments

Funnily enough we had a local UFO event here a few weeks back. I missed it all but locals reported hearing a very loud noise like a plane about to crash going right over the town and out into the sea. Another says that they witnessed the object and that it had lights along the side. Nothing turned up in the sea and it was put down as a meteor event though this would seem unlikely due to the slow speed so this particular episode remains unidentified.
The reports of UFO have been ramping up in the media. Then the media coverage of the re-release of the former NORAD officers book 3rd edition.

Now this? Is this for real?
UN 'to appoint space ambassador to greet alien visitors'

Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist, is set to be tasked with co-ordinating humanity’s response if and when extraterrestrials make contact.

Aliens who landed on earth and asked: “Take me to your leader” would be directed to Mrs Othman.

“The continued search for extraterrestrial communication, by several entities, sustains the hope that some day human kind will received signals from extraterrestrials.

“When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. The UN is a ready-made mechanism for such coordination"

The UN is a ready made mechanism for coordination? Coordination of what? Fear and spin? Swine flu, bogus global warming data and coddling Israel.

Why assume that aliens would want to talk to anyone from the UN? They might just want to talk to some fellow walking down the street, some lady loading her car in a mall parking lot.

Why assume aliens would speak any earthly tongue at all?

Making communication with the appointed UN "ambassador" appear all that much more, nonsensical

Perhaps they can televise it all for us, the visitation the meet and greet with the UN space ambassador and the "official" meetings. But not the behind closed doors meetings. Those would only take place with the people at a distance and mega security. Oh wait that is a G-20 meeting!

This feels very concocted.

Israel settlement freeze ends and Stuxnet cyber weapon attacks Iran

A bit of a follow up to yesterday's post, with an interesting twist..

Bulldozers roll out across the West Bank as settlement freeze ends

Construction of dozens of housing units also resumed in the settlements of Ravava, Yakir and Kochav a Hashachar, where bulldozers began clearing ground for new developments, which received permits before the freeze began.

Settlers currently have plans for around 2,000 new homes across the West Bank.

Of course the puppet Abbas, dancing for the masters has NO IMMEDIATE RESPONSE to resumption of Construction

Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas will make no immediate decision on how to respond to a resumption in Israeli settlement building on the occupied West Bank, officials in his delegation said Monday.

I would think his response would be an extremely strong condemnation and refusal to carry on this charade. But, no, not for Abbas.

Onto this interesting news! Computer virus infects Iran nuclear officials' PCs

A virus apparently targeted at the Iran's nuclear installations also hit personal computers belonging to top officials in the country's atomic program, it emerged Sunday

Mahmoud Jafari, the director of Iran's Bushehr reactor, was among those affected by the malware, which experts believe is so sophisticated that it was likely developed with backing from a Western government.

The destructive Stuxnet worm has surprised experts because it is the first one
specifically created to take over industrial control systems, rather than just steal or manipulate data.

A little more-

Stuxnet worm rampaging through Iran

The Stuxnet worm is mutating and wreaking further havoc on computerised industrial equipment in Iran where about 30,000 IP addresses have already been infected, IRNA news agency reported on Monday.

"The attack is still ongoing and new versions of this virus are spreading," Hamid Alipour, deputy head of Iran's Information Technology Company, was quoted as saying by IRNA, Iran's official news agency.

Stuxnet worm mystery: What's the cyber weapon after?

Stuxnet worm attack has been centered on Iran, studies show. Experts offer dueling theories as to the cyber weapon's target: Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant or the nuclear fuel centrifuge facility at Natanz?

In the above linked article there is an interesting analysis as to why Iran has been targeted-
I will excerpt but, there is much more to read.
Take these points into consideration when you ponder what western nations, with an agenda, have the ability and the "justification" to launch an attack on Iranian facilities.
• Iran is the epicenter of the Stuxnet infection.
• Bushehr is a high-value target. Damaging the nuclear power plant would deal a blow to Iran – a blow that would be worth the considerable time and money a government would expend to develop such as sophisticated cyberweapon.
• Concern about Bushehr is high among nations with cyberwar capability. The imminent completion of the nuclear plant has roiled the international community. Dismayed parties include the US and Israel, in particular. (This article throws in some other countries to muddy the waters, but, they name the likely attackers right off the bat)

Whichever facility was the target? I am unsure. The point being Iran was the target and which countries had the agenda for launching this attack?

The winner in Settlement Row: Netanyahu

Of course what is never mentioned is the loser. Real peace for the Middle East and for the Palestinians peace, a home, an opportunity for a decent life...
Keep that in mind when the Israeli propaganda machine regurgitates the bile filled line of always wanting peace and security.

-Benjamin Netanyahu appears to be the winner of the construction-freeze crisis: The 10-month suspension of building in the settlements will not be extended and the prime minister has given up nothing.

-Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, his threats to the contrary, will not scuttle the peace talks that have barely begun just because Netanyahu isn't extending the freeze.

-U.S. President Barack Obama, preaching for the moratorium to continue, can't force it on Netanyahu on the eve of the congressional elections

-Abbas and Obama will swallow the end of the freeze and wait for Israel to stumble by approving a provocative building plan.

-Netanyahu will try to leverage his success in the freeze crisis to show his camp that he really is the strongman of his election slogans.

Haaretz has kindly pointed out what should be the obvious falseness of the "peace talks" and their agenda

This is the settlement paradox: They (settlements) expand in direct proportion to advances in the diplomatic process. When there is no peace, there is no construction, and when there are contacts, ceremonies and optimism, hundreds of new homes sprout up in the hills of the West Bank.

After he releases some of the immediate pressure and calms the settlers down, letting a few homes be built in proportion to gestures made to the Palestinians, he will delay plans for further construction in the West Bank. These plans will have to wait for an improvement in the diplomatic process. They will be authorized when Netanyahu and Abbas have drawn closer; then pressure will be put on Israel once again. Building will speed up again, concentrated in blocs to strengthen Israel's negotiating position on borders, and to create more facts on the ground.

It is all a show, a sleight of hand, while "peace talks" continue, Israel steals land and leverages it for future land thievery.
What a ruse!

Interesting ending to this piece-

Netanyahu can swing right and left, demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state, hint on an approaching breakthrough with the Syrians, and hope with all his might that Iran will do something provocative that will challenge America and its allies to take serious steps against it.

Therefore, we can be sure Iran won't do anything provocative. But, a false flag provocation may be all Israel needs.

Threats from space disguise the push to weaponize space

Yesterday's post touched on alien invasion, or the news of a potential one?
I do hope everyone has marked the date mentioned for "visitation" on the calender and read the excellent comments....
I wanted to expand on the thought of threats to mankind from the sky, or the heavens, or from other galaxies, whatever scenario floats your boat.

Could the hoax or false flag of an otherwordly threat be a cover, an excuse, to justify for the need to weaponize space? I have covered this topic before including a link to a movie, which I will relink as soon as I can find it.

Then this story gave me pause for thought?
Britain vulnerable to space nuclear attack or 'solar flare' storm, conference told

I do not know what if anything can be done to protect the earth from a solar flare storm, but, this article doesn't deal with the fact of protecting the earth, only Britain.

The purpose of the article seems, to me, to float out in the public mind the idea of a threat coming from space, a nuclear threat, and the necessity to be prepared at all costs for this threat.
Except the alleged perpetrators of such attacks are not very likely to be capable of such attacks, nor is it likely they would attack from earth, in more traditional manners, let alone attack from space.

I will excerpt from the article:

Rogue states such as North Korea and Iran could use nuclear weapons to attack Britain’s vital communications and electricity networks from space.

Dr Liam Fox warned countries that sought nuclear capabilities could attack Britain from the upper atmosphere instead of through more traditional “nuclear strikes”.

Dr Fox warned that terrorists might seek to employ such methods. He urged the public to take greater heed of the threat.

These comments were made at a summit of scientists and security advisers

The Coalition’s Strategic Defence and Security Review is considering potential weaknesses in Britain’s defences against hi-tech attack or disruption.

Conventional military units, cyberwarfare and other technology-driven capabilities are likely to get more money when the review is concluded.
More money?! So the scientists along with security advisers are making claims that will benefit the industry that the security advisers operate on behalf of ? Which is the war machine.
Sort of self-serving isn't that?

Much of the Ministry of Defence’s planning focuses on the risk of a hostile state exploding a nuclear weapon in space, creating a sudden, intense burst of electromagnetic energy called a high altitude electromagnetic pulse, Dr Fox said.

To my knowledge the only country that is far advanced on that type of technology is the US. Pentagon's space partner eyes new frontiers or The Stealthy X-37B shuttle Or, refresh your memory here.

Is Dr Fox suggesting that Britain will be attacked by the US?
I don't think that is the case
I would say he is suggesting that this type of technology is necessary for Britain to be an aggressor nation. And that taxpayers had better ante up for it.

Now to an interview I heard earlier this week, on the same topic.
The Progressive Radio News Hour - 09/11/10

Download this episode (right click and save)

Bruce Gagnon is co-founder and coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space. Having worked on space issues for over 20 years, he says:

"The US intends to control....and dominate space (militantly) and deny other countries access."

America's militarization of space and quest for "full spectrum dominance" will be discussed.

He brings up some very disturbing issues on the weapons in space agenda and the race to control space, thereby controlling the earth.

Which brings me round to all this talk in the news about threats from space. Alien, nuclear and otherwise. There is an agenda behind this talk. It is the weapons in space agenda.

Oh and btw here is the link to the movie Arsenal of Hypocrisy
It is older, but good for background on this topic.
Think of all the news about "threats from space"
Listen to the Sept 10/10 interview from Bruce Gagnon and connect the dots.

Is there a threat from space? Or is the population being prepared to have their pockets picked in the name of having to protect themselves from a non-existent threat? Thereby allowing certain nations to have space weapons and global supremacy. You decide.

Norad Officer's New Book says -ALIENS ARE COMING !

And, he gives a date, just a short time away, October 13/2010?!
How does he know this date specifically? Apparently other lifeforms are telling him this.
Mark the date on your calender boys and girls!

What to make of this?

A newly-published book by a retired NORAD officer predicts October 13, 2010 as the tentative date for a fleet of extraterrestrial vehicles to hover for hours over the earth's principal cities. Author says the event to be the first in a series intended to avert a planetary catastrophe resulting from increasing levels of carbon-dioxide in the earth's atmosphere dangerously approaching a "critical mass."

A newly-published (?) 352-page book by a retired Air Force officer, Stanley A. Fulham, tentatively predicts October 13, 2010 as the date for a massive UFO display over the world’s principal cities. According to the author, the aliens will neither land nor communicate on that date; they are aware from eons of experience with other planets in similar conditions their sudden intervention would cause fear and panic.

The book, Challenges of Change (3rd ed.),( 3rd edition? How long has this book been around?) reports this event will be the initial interaction in a process leading to mankind’s acceptance of the alien reality and technologies for the removal of poisonous gases from the earth’s atmosphere in 2015, if not sooner.

Fulham writes it is generally recognized UFOs function beyond our earth's physical laws, and has concluded answers to questions regarding who they are, where are they from, why are they here, are they a threat, and the mystery of abductions could only be found at a higher dimension of reality.

For more than a decade, through the services of a world renowned channeler, the author has communicated with an ethereal group of entities known as the Transcendors -- 43,000 very old souls who combine their vast experience and knowledge through eons of incarnations, providing advice and information to humans in search of basic realities of mankind’s existence.

So, a retired NORAD officer (a perceived authority) is predicting a return of a saviour (religious connotations), that he himself is receiving from some ethereal entities (otherworldly, angels, demons, whatever sources)

What does this sound like to you? To me I am getting the psy-op, mind control kind of vibe.

Is this related to Project/Operation Bluebeam?

Which is alleged to be a mind control operation on a massive scale relating to an alien visitation and or the second coming of Jesus?

Vatican Bank being Investigated- Again

Breaking news within the last hour, and curious timing of it all.......Just days after Pope Benedict XVI's successful visit to Britain.

Police said the Vatican Bank's chairman Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, who is known to the Pontiff, was under investigation for suspected failure to observe money-laundering laws.

Do any of the banks observe money laundering laws?
To understand what I mean by this comment read: US banks' role in Mexican drug trade or Banks: Liquidity via drug trade-Don't tax City of London Bankers
or Wow, Drug money flowed into banks!

Then tell me when it is that banks observe money laundering laws?

Back to the Vatican bank Investigation....

The probe was launched after tax police in Rome were alerted to two suspicious transactions totaling £19million (23million euro).

Who notified the "tax police"?

Some more-

At the same time, a judge in Rome ordered a freeze on €23m (£19.5m) held in an account opened by the Vatican bank, the Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR), at another financial institution in the Italian capital. It was thought to be the first time such action had been authorised against the IOR in Italy.

This is interesting

Since last September, the Bank of Italy has classified the Vatican bank as a non-EU institution whose dealings with other banks are thus subject to especially close scrutiny.

Why would the Bank of Italy do that? The private central bank of Italy?

Even more interesting....It seems the proverbial shit was hitting the fan on the eve of the Pope's visit to Britain.

The sources said that last Wednesday, on the eve of Pope Benedict's departure for Britain, a unit of the Italian revenue guard (the tax police?) alerted prosecutors to an anomaly in an account owned by the IOR at the Rome branch of Credito Artigiano, which has close historic ties to the Catholic church.

Of the €28m deposited, €23m was destined for transfer to JP Morgan in Frankfurt and another €3m to another Italian bank. But in neither case, it is alleged, had the Vatican's bankers supplied details of the individual or corporation for whom they were acting, as required by a 2007 legislative decree.

The Vatican is "surprised" by the Probe

“It is well known that the authorities of the Holy See have frequently manifested a clear desire for full transparency regarding the financial operations of the Institute for Works of Religion,” or IOR, as the Vatican Bank is called, the Vatican said today in an e-mailed statement.

The Holy See expressed “surprise” and “bewilderment” at the operation, and has “full confidence” in Gotti Tedeschi.

This bit makes me go Hmm....

The Vatican Bank , is under pressure to adopt new financial standards following a 2009 push by the Group of 20 nations for greater transparency. The IOR has been working “for some time” with the Bank of Italy and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development “for the Holy See’s inclusion in the so-called White List,” according to the statement.

The white list is an OECD designation for jurisdictions that have substantially embraced international tax standards.

International tax standards? Sounds sort of one world, one world government, one world banking??
Are other banking interests putting pressure on the Vatican bank to fall in line?

Could this be why we are getting such a big dose of Vatican scandal via the main stream media?

Not suggesting it is undeserved, but, given all the pedophilia abuses such as The billionaire hedge fund pedophile mogul got away with a slap on the wrist or Drasius Keyds- When the law failed him, he got justice! that the main stream media pays no attention whatsoever to, it is a fair question.

Bio-weapons scorned by Hitler, Embraced by the US with long term repercussions

Let's get back to human experimentation by governments, on the people.
Something here in the west were always told is only done by repressive, tyrannical governments or the Nazi's.
Alleged democracy and freedom loving nations would never do that.....

But, if you read this blog and the news stories I post you know that is just one of the many lies, the false narratives, that keep us in the dark, and worse keep us BELIEVING. The lies come to us largely via our main stream media, that peddle the government fictions. Only many years later does some truth dribble out. But, then it is never given any context, any historical background, it just hangs there. Sadly, people don't take the time to connect the dots for the big picture.
So let's do that today, shall we?!

This first article is from 2007; Bio-weapons spurned by Hitler, but, not by the freedom-loving, democracy bringing US

The U.S. got into the germ-warfare business in 1942, allegedly at the behest of Britain, which feared Hitler was cooking up some world class pestilence.

Turned out they were mistaken-
Hitler early on ordered that ``there was to be no offensive biological weapons research.'' His benevolence may have been the result of having been gassed in World War I"

While Hitler may not have been interested, the US and Japan sure were. Let's take a look at the US angle in this tale.

The U.S. program, headquartered at Fort Detrick, Maryland, also used human subjects, though many (how many?) were volunteers.

Most were Seventh-Day Adventists, who as conscientious objectors refused to bear arms. About 2,200 of them agreed to inhale various non-lethal agents that made them, as one expert says, ``pig sick.'' The idea behind the experiment, the show says, was that a sick soldier in the field creates a much greater strain on an army than a dead one.(that is interesting isn't it? A sick soldier is more of a strain then a dead one, remember that all you soldier boys and girls. Better dead then ill)

The government also bombarded several U.S. cities with simulants -- (alleged) non-infectious bacteria -- to assess how biological agents spread. Targets in that super-secret program included San Francisco, St. Louis and Minneapolis.

The end to the U.S. development program may have been partly the result of a 1969 Utah incident in which an ``errant cloud'' of nerve gas was held responsible for killing some 6,000 sheep.

Why did I highlight San Francisco?
Well, we are going to move ahead to California. San Francisco, to be specific, and read this piece. How the past effects the present. Connecting some dots.

Army test in 1950 may have changed microbial ecology -Serratia has dark history in region.

Serratia is a bacterium that some doctors and residents of the Bay Area have been familiar with for many years. In 1950, government officials believed that serratia did not cause disease. (that alleged non-infectious bacteria from the previous link)
The Army used serratia to test whether enemy agents could launch a biological warfare attack on a port city such as San Francisco from a location miles offshore.

For six days in late September 1950, a small military vessel near San Francisco sprayed a huge cloud of serratia particles into the air while the weather favored dispersal.

Then the Army went looking to find out where it landed. Serratia is known for forming bright red colonies when a soil or water sample is streaked on a culture medium -- a property that made it ideal for the bio-warfare experiment.

Here is what they have found, and who it affected:
Army tests showed that the bacterial cloud had exposed hundreds of thousands of people in a broad swath of Bay Area communities including Sausalito, Albany, Berkeley, Oakland, San Leandro, San Francisco, Daly City and Colma, according to reports that later were declassified. Soon after the spraying, 11 people came down with hard-to-treat infections at the old Stanford University Hospital in San Francisco. By November, one man had died. Edward Nevin, 75, a retired worker recovering from a prostate operation, had succumbed to an infection with Serratia marcescens that attacked his heart valves.

The outbreak was so unusual that the Stanford doctors wrote it up for a medical journal. But the medics and Nevin's relatives didn't find out about the Army experiment for nearly 26 years, when a series of secret military experiments came to light.

Revelations in 1976, found , no evidence that the Army had alerted health authorities before it blanketed the region with bacteria. As the news surfaced, doctors started wondering whether the Army experiment that seeded the Bay Area with serratia two decades earlier might be responsible for heart valve infections then cropping up as well as serious infections seen among intravenous drug users in the '60s and '70s

Before the 1950 experiment, serratia was not a common environmental bacteria in the Bay Area nor did it frequently cause hospital infections.

Some people now speculate that descendants of the Army germs are still causing infections here today, the secret bio-warfare test might have permanently changed the microbial ecology of the region

In 2001, Serratia marcescens surfaced again as the culprit behind another fatal public health crisis in the Bay Area. Patients were coming down with a painful, hard-to-treat form of meningitis

One secret experiment with a bacteria. Long term health consequences borne by an unsuspecting population.

Missing Weapons in Afghanistan leads to false flag terror in Pakistan

Interesting article
It is rather worrisome to observe that large quantities of weapons have gone missing in Afghanistan. Over 72,000 American supplied AK-47s, hundreds of heavy machine guns and Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launchers delivered to Afghan police are not traceable
Curious and here is why-

Americans follow a stringent system for ensuring the security of weapons. They use a sophisticated tracking system to continuously register the precise location of each weapon held on the inventories of various security outfits. This helps in recovering the weapons which go missing or fall in the hands of adversaries during combat. Presumably, same procedures should have been in vogue for the missing weapons of Afghan police as well.

So how is it then that so many weapons could go missing? Unless that was the intention?

Hence, one could assume that this saga of theft of weapon at such a large scale could not be accomplished without the connivance of insiders, because weapon tracking system must have been initially blinded and then disabled before such an action of theft; and this could not be done by illiterate and poorly skilled recruits of Afghan police. While reporting the incident, American military newspaper ‘Stars and Stripes’ has quoted ‘NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan’ as saying that a massive hunt is on for tens of thousands of rifles, machine guns and RPG launchers that the U.S. government procured for the Afghan National Police but are unaccounted for.”
Who could be behind the funneling of these weapons to illegitimate activities?

A major bulk of its activities is out sourced to private contractors of the category of Black Water/ XE Services etc, operating under various brands. These agencies have their trans-border agenda extending into various countries of the region. Personnel employed by these outfits are known for their criminal record and blatant violation of rules and regulations. Hence, the loss of weapons could be a part of planned pilferage by these security contractor agencies for some illegitimate activities elsewhere.

Yes, mercenaries, private contractors, killers for hire could easily funnel the weapons for their own covert missions. Including, but not limited to false flag operations. Weapons could have been passed along to so called freedom fighters, who are aiding the occupiers.

In the recent past, fingers have been pointed towards some of these entities for their dubious presence and clandestine activities in Pakistan. In all probability, XE Services, the company formerly known as Black Water, has been conducting false flag terrorist attacks in Pakistan that are later blamed on Pakistani Taliban. One could also speculate that due to overwhelming sympathy within the security apparatus of Afghanistan for the political struggle against the presence of foreign armed forces in Afghanistan, the missing weapons could have been intentionally and systematically passed on to ‘freedom fighters’.

Pakistan has complained about the proliferation of weapons, to no avail.

Pakistan has recently complained to Western states about the support provided to anti-Pakistan terrorists’ networks in Afghanistan, but ISAF/NATO officials are reluctant to take necessary action to curb infiltration of men and weapons from Afghanistan into Pakistan.

Hm, why would NATO be reluctant to take action? One would think that this would help them to get the war under control in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Unless the distribution of all these weapons is the goal? And chaos is the agenda?

This is not the first time that weapons that go missing in Afghanistan have reached Pakistan. During military operations by the armed forces of Pakistan in Malakand and Swat areas, it was found that such flow of weapons is the mainstay of military power of terrorist outfits, which carry out subversive activities in various parts of Pakistan. ISAF/NATO certainly need to do more in the context of physical security of these small weapons which provide a source of sustenance to terrorist activities in Pakistan.

What role is India playing in the destabilization of Pakistan? Missing explosives, the next false flag?

India is not far behind Americans in misplacing the instruments of death. After all it must copy each and every action of America in a run up to its quest for super power status.(Remember the arms sale deal) Some 61 trucks loaded with over 300 tons of explosives went missing in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, a couple of weeks ago. These trucks were sent from a government factory, ‘Rajasthan Explosives and Chemicals Limited’, to a private company called ‘Ganesh Explosives’, the convoy went missing enroute. Convoy of 61 trucks is a huge thing; it could not disappear just like that. Normally, explosive containers move under stringent security arrangements. No encounter between security personnel and ‘highjackers’ was reported. All this happened quietly and smoothly like a well rehearsed military drill. Apparently it is another gimmick of Indian intelligence agencies; which could use these lethal explosives to stage manage an event and then blame Pakistan for it. Rumours have it that forthcoming “Common Wealth Games” could be one such venue. Moreover, Indian support to various terrorist outfits in Pakistan is an open secret.

In conclusion-

At this critical stage of Afghan conflict, when draw down of foreign forces is around the corner, one needs to watch out for oozing out of auxiliary conflicts in the region. Some of these could be stage managed by various actors to gain strategic space within the overall settlement framework of Afghan conflict; others could be ignited by those disgruntled entities that have been marginalized and wish to act as spoilers. Small arms proliferation alongside drug trafficking is the lifeline of terrorist outfits ( covert government ops) and under world mafias. There is need for stringent multi-state measures to break this nexus for achieving sustainable peace in South Asia.

Last week I posted on the arms deal between India and the US, mentioning the fact that China would be quite unimpressed with that one. In the tit for tat world of geo-politics, here is the latest on Pakistan/China business dealings. Not arms, but nuclear power plants. Of course the west is 'very concerned'.

China to build large nuclear power plant for Pakistan

- China's main nuclear energy corporation is in talks to build a 1-gigawatt atomic power plant in Pakistan, an executive said on Monday, a move that could intensify international unease about their nuclear embrace.

China has already helped Pakistan build its main nuclear power facility at Chashma in Punjab province, where one reactor is running and another near finished, and it has contracts to build two more there, despite the qualms of other governments.

The proposed expansion of China's nuclear power ties with Pakistan is likely to magnify unease in Washington, Delhi and other capitals (like the capital of Israel?) worried about Pakistan's role regional security and nuclear proliferation. Beijing is wary of Indian regional dominance and U.S. influence. Critics of that U.S.-India deal say it prompted China to deepen its own nuclear power cooperation with Pakistan

Of course Beijing is wary. India and the US inked a big nuclear deal, which China questioned, in 2008. The US had no qualms about signing the deal. Now, these arms sales upcoming to India from the US....

Pennsylvania's' terrorists' and the Israeli agency that calls them that

Pennsylvania has a problem. They have a terror problem. At least that is what is claimed by the Institute of Terrorism Response and Research. A private Israeli/American non-profit contractor, that was paid 125,000.00 to spy on citizens of the US!

( I find the non-profit angle really concerning. How can a private company not make a profit, unless it's real funding is received elsewhere? I also find the labeling of the company as Israeli/American kind of questionable)

-Some of the terrorists identified by the ITRR include
opponents of natural gas drilling, describing them as "environmental extremists" and suggesting they were a threat to the state.
The also identified animal rights activists and anti-war events as potential security threats to the state. Oh and Gay and Lesbian activists!

The Governor of Pennsylvania has been all kinds of apologetic after all he "didn't know"
But, this article really makes one think his excuses are bogus, he knew, and is now distancing himself from the bad publicity. .
Rendell staff knew of tracking

Some of Rendell's top staff knew in July that the contractor was tracking lawful public protests. The information was sent to law enforcement and private companies around the state.
I find it improbable that his top staff knew and he didn't. This is face saving at it's most obvious.

A little bit of info on Institute of Terrorism Response and Research.

Perelman declined to comment and Richman could not be reached for comment

The Institute of Terrorism Research and Response is headed by Michael Perelman, who formerly worked for the York City Police Department, and Aaron Richman, a former police captain in the Israeli capital.

They formed the company six years ago in York to provide "on-site educational seminars on institutional security against terrorism and other threats," a state filing shows. Three years later, in 2007, they formed a nonprofit foundation for "enhancing anti-terror training." Richman works as an assistant professor at Philadelphia University, which identifies him as a former police captain in Jerusalem.

As one can conclude information on these two men is lacking. Even on their website
They have some interesting partners. One being MTS, Multi Tier Solutions

Comprised of experts in their fields, all with specialized government experience.
A licensed vendor to the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

Another interesting "partner" is Terror Medicine International. Another Israeli based organization. That specializes in "terror medicine"?

Professor Shmuel Shapira MD, MPH.
Prof Shapira served in the Israeli Navy and was the Head of the Trauma Branch in the IDF Medical Corps. Currently he is a Lieutenant Colonel(Res)

I am getting an entirely different picture of this organization. Of course the non-profit was the first hint. But the ties to the Israeli government and the IDF point one in an entirely different direction. Was this so called security firm, spying on Americans and sharing information with a foreign government? Is this group connected to Israeli intelligence? It would seem entirely possible. Why is homeland security paying them to spy on American citizens?

You can watch a video report from Democracy Now. Fast forward to 5:00 minutes in.
The report mentions that the Institute of Terrorism Response and Research has extensive ties to the Israeli government.

World renowned scientist won't be charged in airport scare

One more for today- and this one is curious.
This is one of those stories, that leads one to think, there is way more to this then is being let on.

Scientist found with suspicious item at airport had previously done prison time for plague sample flap

A world-renowned Texas scientist specializing in infectious diseases who was once charged with smuggling dangerous samples of plague bacteria into the U.S. was questioned by authorities after a suspicious item found in his luggage caused a massive evacuation at Miami International Airport Thursday night.

Dr. Thomas C. Butler, 70, was questioned by agents with the FBI and Miami-Dade police Friday after a suspicious item was found in his checked luggage by a MIA baggage screener Thursday night, sources told NBC Miami

The suspicious item scare caused police to evacuate four of six airport terminals and the airport's hotel for nearly seven hours as a bomb squad removed the item for further testing.

-Shortly before noon Friday, it was learned that Butler was released from questioning and won't be charged in the incident.

What is quite interesting about his release?

FBI Agent Mike Leverock said the item was still being tested at a lab to determine what, if any, danger it posed.
Curious isn't that? Released and on his way to Puerto Rico, while the item he had was still being tested to determine if it was dangerous? Also interesting, his flight had originated in Saudia Arabia?

Butler had been coming from Saudi Arabia when the suspicious item was spotted in his luggage as it went through customs.

Still something else! This is not the first time this scientist, released to Puerto Rico before it was determined wether the item he was carrying was dangerous or not, has transported very suspicious and deadly items. And even that first go round with transporting deadly items is weird.
Butler had been on the faculty at Texas Tech, until his arrest in 2003 on charges of smuggling and improperly transporting the plague samples, as well as theft, embezzlement and fraud. Butler told police that 30 vials containing the samples had been stolen from his lab.

He was eventually found guilty of exporting the vials of plague and stealing research money. He was acquitted of illegally exporting the plague samples.

He was found guilty of exporting vials of plague, but then acquitted of exporting the plague samples?
Connected to some sort of intelligence/undercover group or operation?

India and US to ink huge military deal

Isn't this a comfort? Obama the peacemaker.

US President Barack Obama's visit to New Delhi in November may secure $5 billion worth of arms sales to India, Russia's Vzglyad newspaper reported Monday.

The deal, if signed during Obama's visit, would make the US replace Russia as India's biggest arms supplier, the paper said, adding that the deal would also help India curb China's rise. (help India curb China's rise? In other words, India will contain China, with the help and at the behest of the US)

India's shortlist includes Patriot defense systems, Boeing mid-air refueling tankers and certain types of howitzers, and the total cost of the deal may exceed $10 billion, the paper added.

The report came a day after The Economic Times in New Delhi reported that talks are underway between Indian and US officials over a deal to sell 10 Boeing C-17 military transport aircraft to the Indian Air Force (IAF).

The talks focus on the price and onboard equipment of the T-tailed C-17 Globemaster-III, which has passed validation trials and meets the requirements of the IAF, the newspaper said.

According to an official Boeing statement, the C-17 can carry a maximum payload of 74,797 kilo-grams for 2,400 nautical miles (4,444.8 kilometers) without refueling, and 45,495 kilograms for 4,000 nautical miles (7,408 kilometers) without refueling, the paper added.

Wang Mingzhi, a military strategist at the PLA Air Force Command College, told the Global Times that those reported military deals reflect Washington and New Delhi's needs in the region.

"To assist the Afghan war and the fight against the Pakistani Taliban, the US has been trying to improve its presence in South Asia and the Indian Ocean," Wang said. "Those arms sales will improve ties between Washington and New Delhi, and, intentionally or not, will have the effect of containing China's influence in the region."

"For example, once India gets the C-17 transport aircraft, the mobility of its forces stationed along the border with China will be improved. Mobility includes transportation, lifting, landing and deployment," he added.

You can connect the dots leading up to this impending deal with this older story from July/09

India, US sign three agreements on science, space and arms and defense

There is a picture of the evil, smiling Hilary Clinton there. Be warned.

July 20, 2009. The United States and India said on Monday they had agreed on a defence pact that takes a major step towards allowing the sale of sophisticated US arms to the South Asian nation as it modernises its military.

So, when President Peacemaker visits India in the very near future, November, the arms are going to flow. No doubt China will be pleased with this development? (facetious)

Antibiotics damaging long term immunity & Drug recalls

Haven't done a health post in a while and I thought it was long overdue.

First up: Antibiotics doing long term damage to your vital gut bacteria

Many people don't realize how vital gut bacteria is to your health and well-being.

Not surprising since our health care revolves around popping pills, meds and other invasive treatments. When it should be encouraging healthy habits, nutritious eating from non-toxic food supplies and raising awareness of how it is our bodies actually function on their own and as part of the environment. These very sound health habits are not encouraged because they are not profitable to pharmaceutical corporations or gmo creators, who wish to have you ingest a pill or a genetically modified food, in the name of good health. With the very questionable long term effects of both, hidden from the population.

But, lets get back to the point here: Antibiotics and gut bacteria
Two research scientist wondered how hardy gut bacteria are, how well they bounce back?

So they recruited healthy volunteers who hadn't used antibiotics in at least the past year to take two five-day courses of the antibiotic Cipro, six months apart.

The first round of antibiotics brought about these results:

The volunteers reported no diarrhea or upset stomach, yet their fecal samples showed a lot going on beneath the surface. Bacterial diversity plummeted as a third to half of the volunteers' original germ species were nearly wiped out, although some other species moved in. Yet about a week after stopping the drug, two of the three volunteers had their bacterial levels largely return to normal. The third still had altered gut bacteria six months later.

Round two of the antibiotics brought about these startling results:

Another die-off and shift happened with the second round of Cipro, but this time no one's gut bacteria had returned to the pre-antibiotic state by the time the study ended two months later.
Two five day courses of antibiotics and not one of the volunteers gut bacteria had returned to it's pre-antibiotic state after two months.

The lack of healthy bacteria in the gut is a indicator of trouble to come.

I wonder in fact about the use of antibiotics not just as prescribed by doctors, but in the use of meat production for this alarming news story :Colon cancer cases 'may rise 50%

While this article links obesity to the increase, obesity and gut bacteria imbalance may be connected, it fails to mention this important information:Red Meat Consumption Linked To Colorectal Cancer

Is it the meat? Or is it all the antibiotics fed to the meat, in turn consumed by humans?

While on the subject of pharmaceutical intervention, this news caught my eye-

Drug recalls surge

I would actually say they have skyrocketed. Look at the chart

Recalls of prescription and over the counter drugs are surging, raising questions about the quality of drug manufacturing in the United States.

The Food and Drug Administration reported more than 1,742 recalls last year, skyrocketing from 426 in 2008, according to the Gold Sheet, a trade publication on drug quality that analyzes FDA data.

Ironically, or typically the FDA " maintains that it hasn't identified any alarming patterns in last year's recalls."

Bottom line: there is no such thing as a quick fix, no miracle pills, and the long term effects of many of these drugs is not well known, so none of them should be taken lightly.

US to Arabs: Don't make Israel the Pariah state. US and Israel to World: We create the outcast nations

By any means possible!

Warning: this is going to be one long post, with lots of links.

Maybe you have noticed the latest news coming out on the IAEA? Most of it revolves around alleged "dissident" groups in Iran and the news (?) that there is a secret underground atomic site.

Where have we seen this same scenario play out previously?

Think about it....... Iraq. Yes, Iraq. Remember the The Iraqi National Congress?

They too were a dissident group, alleged, that supplied the US with "intelligence". The very "intelligence" that was needed to attack Iraq.
Turned out all that intelligence was wrong, as was expected, not that it really mattered. The US got their war on, as was the goal.

The Iraqi National Congress (INC) was created at the behest of the U.S. government for the purpose of fomenting the overthrow of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. The INC has been funded since 1992. An unnamed INC offical told the New York Times in 2004 that INC had received $27 million in the last four years. [1].

But what of our so called dissident Iranian group? The People's Mujaheddin Organization of Iran. The providers of the latest information so beneficial to the US and of course, Israel.

U.S. officials have greeted some of the organization's other claims with skepticism, and note that it has for years been on a State Department list of designated terrorist organizations.
What of this group, the People's Mujaheddin Organization of Iran? Lots of information available linking them to covert CIA funding. Also curious? This group is based in Iraq.
A more usual name for them is the MEK. An interesting article here on them and their funding

"They could never overthrow the current Iranian regime but they might cause a lot of damage."

So a group based in Iraq, funded by the CIA is providing intelligence that the US (Israel) needs to justify their attack on Iran? Convenient. Yes, they can cause a lot of damage.

Something else very curious about this group, this from a 2008 article, the same dissident group and some other very curious intelligence. The 'laptop of mass destruction'

The George W Bush administration has long pushed the "laptop documents" - 1,000 pages of technical documents supposedly from a stolen Iranian laptop - as hard evidence of Iranian intentions to build a nuclear weapon

But those documents have also been regarded with great suspicion by US and foreign analysts.

German officials identified the source of the laptop documents in November 2004 as the Mujahideen e-Khalq (MEK), and the National Council of Resistance in Iran (NCRI).

There are some indications, moreover, that the MEK obtained the documents not from an Iranian source but from Israel's Mossad.

The German source said he did not know whether the documents were authentic or not. However, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)analysts, and European and IAEA officials who were given access to the laptop documents in 2005, were very skeptical about their authenticity.

The Guardian's Julian Borger last February quoted an IAEA official as saying there is "doubt over the provenance of the computer".

A senior European diplomat who had examined the documents was quoted by the New York Times in November 2005 as saying, "I can fabricate that data. It looks beautiful, but is open to doubt."

The overall record of the MEK on the Iranian nuclear program has been very poor.

Despite that fact, the CIA continued to submit intelligence from the Iranian group about alleged Iranian nuclear weapons-related work to the IAEA over the next five years, without identifying the source.

But that intelligence turned out to be unreliable. A senior IAEA official told the Los Angeles Times in February 2007 that, since 2002, "pretty much all the intelligence that has come to us has proved to be wrong".

To quickly rehash the so called intelligence from this group has been spoon fed to them either by US or Israeli intelligence services. The US then passes it along to the IAEA without identifying their sources. This is Iraq redux. This is the same scenario. The ends justify the means. The end is an attack on Iran, the means are whatever is necessary including falsified intelligence.

But, lets move on from the world of fabrication, falsities and lies to start wars....
Let's move over to reality and facts.

What is barely getting covered amidst all these wild allegations and very likely falsified intelligence reports ? I touched on it last week in a post here. The UN curtailing the probe of Israel's nuclear arsenal.

The latest has the US dictating to the Arab nations " Don't make Israel a "pariah" at IAEA"(btw: pariah means outcast). Which should have been followed by Only we (US and Israel) can make pariahs out of the countries we choose.

-The U.S. envoy to the U.N. atomic watchdog urged Arab states on Monday to withdraw a resolution calling on Israel to sign an anti-nuclear arms treaty, warning it would send a negative signal to Middle East peace talks.
Arab countries are seeking to build on a victory at an assembly meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency last year when they narrowly won support for a non-binding resolution calling on Israel to join the Non-Proliferation treaty.

They are expected to propose a similar text to this year's meeting of the 151-nation assembly starting on Sept. 20, diplomats say.

The United States says that zeroing in on Israel, widely believed to be the region's only nuclear power, could jeopardise an Egyptian-proposed conference in 2012 to discuss creating a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction.

Glyn Davies, the U.S. ambassador to the IAEA, said it may also have an impact on the relaunched, U.S.-backed peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

"We need to send a positive impulse to that broader peace process, not a negative one," he told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting of the IAEA's 35-nation governing board, which takes place in the week before the assembly session.

Israel and the United States (see phony intelligence above) see Iran as the region's main nuclear proliferation threat, accusing it of seeking to develop atomic weapons. Tehran rejects the charge.

Israel has never confirmed or denied having atom bombs under a policy of ambiguity.

It condemned last year's resolution urging it to accede to the 40-year-old nuclear NPT, saying it was backed by adversaries that question its right to exist.

Israel, which would have to forswear atomic arms and place all its nuclear facilities under the IAEA's watch if it signed the NPT, says full Middle East peace is a condition for it to join. (to wit, Israel will ensure there never will be peace in the Middle East)

The United States alarmed Israel in May by backing Egypt's initiative for the 2012 conference, but the Obama administration has since pledged to keep the Jewish state from being singled out.

Davies said the priority was to make the 2012 conference possible and this would not happen by continuing to "bludgeon" one member state, referring to Israel.

"In order for 2012 to succeed all countries have to show up ... right now there is one country that has very little incentive to do that because of the way they are being made a pariah in this process," he said.

"We have been working with the Arab League but also other partners to urge them to withdraw the Israeli nuclear capabilities resolution to spare the (IAEA assembly meeting) another fight," Davies added. (Additional reporting by Sylvia Westall; Editing by Charles Dick)

I have read a lot of outright baloney in my time blogging. These excuses used by the US administration, the Nobel peace prize winning Obama administration no less, are about as much baloney contained in one article as I can stomach for today. Israel and their nuclear arsenal need to be held accountable. These excuses are simply not credible.
