Iranian nuclear scientist assasinated - Who could be behind the attack ??

Having briefly got caught up in the BS that is "wikileaks", bane of the Pentagon and other dribble ......
I didn't get to blog on this news story. This does loop a tiny bit back to wikileaks in a way that Israel was so darn proud of.
How it was that wikileaks made there claims and concerns regarding Iran that much more validated.
Or as the LA Times touted in their headline: ISRAEL: WikiLeaks and Israel -- quiet relief, louder vindication, for now

Vindication of what?

Oh and AP, I stumbled across the even more obnoxious headline, it was right in the article linked above Haaretz: "Everybody hates Iran."

Another oh so interesting comment I have linked back to the original source-

"If WikiLeaks didn't exist, Israel would have had to invent it"

Considering the great service Wikileaks provides for Israel.......
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck

UPDATED: Malcontent left a link over at Twelfth Bough.
I just have to add it, it so brilliantly ties into the whole who benefits from the wikileak "leaks"
It fits hand in glove with the Israel would have to invent wikileaks quote above so, from Salon

Last night on the Lehrer report Zbigniew Brzezinski cautioned

“It's, rather, a question of whether WikiLeaks are being manipulated by interested parties that want to either complicate our relationship with other governments or want to undermine some governments, because some of these items that are being emphasized and have surfaced are very pointed.

And I wonder whether, in fact, there aren't some operations internationally, intelligence services, that are feeding stuff to WikiLeaks, because it is a unique opportunity to embarrass us, to embarrass our position, but also to undermine our relations with particular governments.

quack quack!!!

Anyway......while the Wikileaks distraction was emanating from the media.
Someone had a nuclear scientist killed in Iran!
Who would have the most interest in seeing that happen?
Could it be the nation that crowed the loudest yesterday about how right they were on Iran?

First a video:

Easy to know who the scientists were via the IAEA...

Interesting to note that Iran had agreed to talks with the EU in Geneva regarding it's nuclear power plants. Reported on minimally eight days ago, November 22/2010

A diplomatic solution?

Which nation would not want that to happen?
Which nation shouted the loudest from the roof tops about their rightness?

So let's get over to another news story on the subject-

Attack on Nuclear Scientists prompts hit squad claims
Of course, I just want to get right to the point:

Who targeted the scientists?

Israel: The country is pursuing covert operations aimed at hobbling Iran's nuclear programme, as a less costly alternative to mounting a full-scale military attack. Israeli officials admit that such operations are in progress but they give no detail. Israel is widely believed to be responsible for the Stuxnet computer worm that caused problems for the Iranian uranium enrichment programme. The country also has a record of using assassination as a weapon in what it regards as vital national interests.

United States: George Bush, when he was president, ordered a covert programme to sabotage Iran's nuclear ambitions, and that mission is still believed to be under way. Targeted killings have been approved against terrorist targets, but the revelation that a US-backed hit squad was killing civilian scientists would be immensely damaging to the administration.

Jundullah The "Soldiers of God", a Iranian Sunni group based in Iranian Baluchistan, has carried out a series of bloody attacks in recent years that have largely been focused on military targets. The group, known as the People's Resistance Movement of Iran, broadcast a video yesterday of a captive who it claims is a worker from a secret nuclear facility. It did not claim responsibility for the morning's attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists.

The People's Mujahedin (MeK or PMOI) This longstanding rebel group carried out several bombings and assassinations in the years following the 1979 revolution, but has more recently presented itself as a non-violent group. It is focusing its efforts on having itself removed from the US state department's list of terrorist organisations.

Taking into consideration Israel wants war with Iran at all costs.
Israel makes that very clear.
Israel was behind the Stuxnet attack.
Israel regularly assassinates all manner of people in other countries. (this is but one example)

The US assassinates also. But, they have been wavering on an attack on Iran and they weren't lined to Stuxnet in any meaningful way, so?

Jundallah and the MEK. Not bloody likely. Doubtful they could carry this type of attack out. Bombs in marketplaces killing innocents, sure, but not this.

The smart money is on Israel.

What do you think?

  1. Israel? gosh, ya think?

I too saw the Zbignew thing, you know when they don't mention names that it is that SLC they mean.

Of course it's Israel. Who else benefits from this? Nothing they do surprises me anymore. Sure makes you wonder about their side of the story regarding their 3000 year history of being so darn victimised.

    Chutzpah! Oy!!

    Shalom, Buffy

  2. If a tree falls in the forest would it be the fault of that "Shity little country"? Well that would depend a lot on who it fell on now wouldn't it? If it fell onto an Arab or an Iranian, Damn right it would be the Jews doing.
If however it fell and didn't hurt anything then perhaps it could be termites.

  3. um, has anyone actually read the WikiLeaks Statement of Mission?

  4. Warning: at 1c per comment, you owe me .. heh, heh.

  5. A tree falls
    in the forest glade
must be spring or new birth.

  6. "Everybody hates Iran."

    I don't, so since I'm not an 'everybody,' then I'm a nobody?

Can you imagine the uproar if someone had murdered an Israeli nuke scientist?

The UN would convene a special meeting and the US Congress would be writing up another billion(s) dollar aid bill of free money, and sending over lots and lots of advanced weaponry, with no restrictions on how it was to be used.

Zionist MSM outlets would bring out the usual suspects, demanding that America teach Iran or Syria or Lebanon or Yemen or Somalia or... an explosive lesson.

  7. buffy: chutzpah, indeed.

silverfish: a tree definitely fell in Iran.

  8. Davo: ok the link didn't work, so if you can fix it that would be great.

"Warning: at 1c per comment, you owe me .. heh, heh."

regarding the statement of mission I did find this..

" But Wikileaks also had a broader political agenda; its "...primary agenda is in exposing oppressive regimes in Asia, the former Soviet bloc, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East..." according to its own mission statement."

that is a very western agenda..

  9. Greg:"Can you imagine the uproar if someone had murdered an Israeli nuke scientist?"

I am unsure if I can imagine it big enough!

  10. The ugly warmongering zionist state is not only carrying out stateterrorism in Gaza and West bank, east jerusalem, now they carry out stateterrorism in killing iranian scientists, in fact just check this link:

"It is using hitmen, sabotage, front companies and double agents to disrupt the regime's illicit weapons project, the experts say.

The most dramatic element of the "decapitation" programme is the planned assassination of top figures involved in Iran's atomic operations"
