Good read- The conspiracy without the theories

I wanted to post this, with thanks to Gallier2, for leaving the link, from a blog called the Hawaiian Libertarian.

While I am on the subject of banks and banking.......

The Conspiracy Without the Theories

It is lengthy, but well worth the read.

Don't count on your major media corporate news networks and their newspapers, magazines, websites and TV shows (both mainstream and alternative); nor your publicly funded, government-approved broadcasts on regulated frequencies for TV or the radio, to give you the truth.

They all either broadcast total fabrications or, worse yet, half-truths to make the lies seem more credible...and they ALWAYS misdirect the attention of the masses. This is how they keep we the sheeple plugged into the matrix and overdosing on blue pills from understanding what we are seeing them do before our very eyes.

But don't worry -- one need not concern themselves with the Illuminati - the Council on Foreign Relations - the Bilderbergers - the Tri-Lateral Commission - the Jewish Bankers implementing the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, or even about recognizing the Brave New World Order Matrix of feminist-socialist fascism gradually taking over all cultures and countries of the world. You only need to recognize that all of these things are theories.

Theories that seek to explain the motives of the rich and powerful oligarchy who don't even bother to hide their actions from public purview any longer. It is the way in which we who are their serfs, debt-slaves and chattel try to comprehend the logic and reasoning behind their socio-pathic psychosis.

They are plainly and openly sheering the wealth, freedom, labor and very lives from this herd of sheeple we call humanity, as they laugh at the inability of most of the sheeple to even recognize what is being done to them.

So effective, so devious, so enticing is the illusion they weave with their mass media and government sponsored, institutionalized indoctrination, they know they've got the masses domesticated, pacified and ripe for harvest.

What does it really matter trying to understand why they do it?

Whether they are Jews trying to institute a centuries old plan for world domination, or they are 33rd degree-freemason satanists doesn't really change the easily observed actions of those who are the highest levels of power in this world... need no other explanation than the good old sins of coveting the accumulation of power and wealth. That theory is good enough to explain this "Conspiracy."

Know why the Arab world is in revolutionary mode right now? It really has nothing to do with the reasons your sexy FOXNews Neo-con feminist parading her legs and tits in skimpy "business attire" tells you.

Nor the reasons an effete, measured and reasonable-sounding, emasculated voice of a Mangina SWPL Journalism Grad-school drop-out reads into an NPR microphone.

Nor the corporate sponsored patriotism of right-wing, Neo-Con bombast flooding the AM airwaves.

Nor any other media outlet financed by either corporations or the Government.

They are all playing their own role in sowing confusion and making everyone focus on "the left" and "the right."

One gigantic, sophisticated game of pin the tail on the, on the, on the donkey...the elephant...donkey...elephant...donkey...

It's much simpler to point out the real culprits, because they do what they do, and they are quite open about it.

Bankers. Wall Street. The owners of the real wealth and power in the world.

They've set up the game, they know all the rules, and they are running away with it because the majority don't even know the game is being played.

Just look at what the Federal Reserve Policies are doing to the price of food in the global economy.

Educate yourself on exactly what inflation, fiat currency, fractional reserve banking and the policies and actions that have been enacted by the Government and the Federal Reserve in the name of "fixing" this economy they've deliberately created. The truth couldn't be more obvious.

I just came across this article, Growth or Hot Money: What's really affecting food prices?, regarding the role that "Ben Bernanke's policies" (he's just the puppet for the owners of the Federal Reserve Cartel) of "printing" all that fiat currency and what it is doing to the global economy. In short, it's driving up the price of food. This is the real reason why revolution is now occurring. The hungry masses will no longer tolerate repressive, authoritarian regimes when they can no longer afford to feed themselves.

Sound crazy? Read.

And now comes Ben Bernanke, chairman of the US Federal Reserve, former chairman of the Princeton Economics Department, with a claim so dumb that we don’t what to think. What’s the matter with Princeton? What’s the matter with economics? What’s the matter with the Fed? What’s the matter with Ben Bernanke?

The Telegraph has the report:

Ben Bernanke…has dismissed the idea that the central bank’s policies are to blame for the rise in global food prices to a record high…

Now, let’s see. The Fed adds $2 trillion to the world’s supply of “hot money.” Maybe that has no effect? What do you think? The Telegraph continues:

Mr. Bernanke said that the rapid growth of developing economies was behind the increase in food prices, rather than the Fed’s decision to embark on a second, $600bn (£371bn) round of printing money. “Clearly what’s happening is not a dollar effect, it’s a growth effect,” Mr. Bernanke said in a rare question and answer session with journalists at the National Press Club in Washington on Thursday.

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UN FAO) has warned that high prices, already above levels in 2008 which sparked riots, were likely to rise further.

The FAO measures food prices from an index made up of a basket of key commodities such as wheat, milk, oil and sugar, and is widely watched by economists and politicians around the world as the first indicator of whether prices will end up higher on shop shelves.

The index hit averaged 230.7 points in January, up from 223.1 points in December and 206 in November. The index highlights how food prices, which throughout most of the last two decades have been stable, have taken off in alarming fashion in the past three years. In 2000, the index stood at 90 and did not break through 100 until 2004.

Well, how do you like that? It’s growth that it driving food prices to records. Not money printing.

But wait…hold on…is the emerging world growing faster now than it was two or three years ago? Nope. Hmmm… Is the growth a big surprise? Did something happen to make investors and traders suddenly realize that…well…hey…the world is growing!

Then, how come prices are shooting up now? Why didn’t they shoot up 4 years ago? Or 2 years ago? Or last year? What has changed?

Well… How about the $1.5 trillion of brand spanking new money that the Fed put into the world’s money supply in 2009-2010? And how about the $600 billion more it’s pumping in now?

That’s new, isn’t it? So, here’s a wild and crazy idea. Maybe…just maybe…the fundamentals of supply and demand really do work. Maybe…just maybe…if you increase the world’s hot money supply (hot money does not come from an increase in real wealth or consumer demand…but from central banks’ low interest rates and money printing)…well, maybe prices on global, auction-priced goods – such as food – go up.

Just look at what is happening to other global, auction-priced goods. Oil, for example, soared above $100 over the weekend. And look at gold. Put oil and food in terms of gold and what do you find? That they haven’t gone up at all! What does that tell you? That the “growth” hypothesis is nonsense.

In other words, yes…the developing world is growing. It has been growing at a high rate for the last 20 years. Nothing new there.

What’s new is that central banks are printing money at a record pace. They are creating more bubbles.

Isn’t this going to end badly? Why would governments play such a dangerous game? Aren’t they putting their own credibility, currencies and solvency in jeopardy?

Yes, of course they are.

Why are they doing this? Why? WHY?!?!!?

Because they can.

And as I wrote earlier, they are not even trying to hide it.

But there is something you have to understand. Governments always look out for the elite groups that control them. They’re not necessarily concerned with the betterment of humankind…or even the best interests of their own people.

Here’s an example, from The New York Times:

Public deficits and debt relative to gross domestic product have ballooned in the last three years for one simple reason – the big banks at the heart of our financial system blew themselves up. On this point, the conclusions of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, which appeared last week, are very clear and utterly compelling.

No one forced the banks to take on so much risk. Top bankers lobbied long and hard for the rules that allowed them to behave recklessly. And these same people effectively captured the hearts, minds and, some would say, pocketbooks of the regulators – in the sense that a well-regarded regulator can and often does go work for a bank afterward.

Meanwhile, Barry Ritholtz says the feds are using Fannie and Freddie as another way to shovel taxpayer money to Wall Street. As you know, the Fed already plays Sugar Daddy to the bankers. If the bankers have some trash mortgage-backed security that they lost money on, the Fed buys it from them at an inflated price. Of course, just having the Fed in the market buying MBSs inflates the markets.

But it turns out, the Fed isn’t the only one. The US Treasury also gave Fannie and Freddie a blank check to save the housing industry. But they let the housing industry go bust. Instead, they took the money and saved the housing industry’s creditors. The big banks, in other words. Wall Street. The richest of the rich.

Why should taxpayer money be used to bail out the rich?

Well, they’re not just rich. They’re powerful. They’re the people the government was set up to protect. Give the feds a break; they’re just doing their jobs.

The private sector innovates. Government procrastinates…hesitates…and vegetates.

That’s just the way it works. That’s what government has always been for. The government of ancient Egypt protected the pharaohs. The government of the Ottoman Empire protected the Ottomans. The government of Genghis Khan looked out for Genghis.

And who does the US government look out for? Naturally, it looks out for the elite groups that control it. Who’s that? The big banks, of course.

We live in a world run by Bankers. Don't take it from me, just follow the fiat money and the politico-whores in government it enslaves.

Thanks Hawaiian Libertarian!

Revolutions in North Africa linked to the growth of Islamic Banking ?

Today, this bit of news crossed my consciousness...
Tunisia opened it's first Islamic Bank, that is a sharia compliant bank, May 2010.

Zitouna Bank, the first Tunisian Islamic bank officially started operations on Friday.

North Africa has begun to embrace Islamic finance after years watching from the sidelines, partly to channel more Arab Gulf petrodollars into the region.

North Africa has begun to embrace Islamic finance?! to channel more petrodollars into the region?! Hmmmmm...........
Could this have been a factor in the sudden need to get rid of the leadership?
Money and petrodollars? Let's read a bit more, shall we??

Tunisia, along with Morocco, authorised Islamic finance in 2007, partly to channel more investment into their fast-growing tourism and real estate industries.

Tunisian financial harbor.

That is right, not just Tunisia, Morocco too.
And, per chance what is the latest from Morocco??

"The 20 February movement had called for new protest marches today and tomorrow."
Protesting for "democratic reforms" of course?

Does the February 20 movement remind you of anything? Any other movement come to mind.
OH YA! Egypt. The April 6 movement. Instrumental in the uprising for "freedom and democracy" which now see's the Egyptians ruled by a military junta..

"The April 6 Youth Movement, a politically vocal Facebook group"

And what about the February 20 Movement are they also using Facebook?

"The 19-year-old Driss is among a smattering of young people who have used a Facebook campaign and YouTube videos"
Calender dates and facebook? Coincidence?

How about the coincidence of Islamic banking growing and prospering and uprisings?
What other country was engaged in this growing practice of Islamic banking in North Africa?

The bank officials stressed that it has established relations with a number of financial institutions, including 12 Islamic banks, in collaboration with the Institute of Islamic banks in Bahrain.

Bahrain! And another uprising!

Taking this thought further, imagine the implications for the International western banksters, if Islamic banking in accordance with Sharia law was to continue expanding and taking with it the Arab petrodollars from the region??? That would certainly, in time, see the Islamic banking system in control of a lot of money, and able to wield power globally.

I am going to expand on this thought, which must have been simply terrifying to the banking cartel of the west!
From an article here

Rising oil wealth is lifting Islamic banking - which adheres to the laws of the Koran and its prohibition against charging interest - into the financial mainstream.

"This is an industry on its way from a niche industry to becoming a truly global industry," said Khawaja Mohammad Salman Younis, the managing director for operations in Malaysia for Kuwait Finance House, the world's second-largest Islamic bank, after Al-Rajhi Bank. "In the next three to five years you'll see Islamic banks coming out in Australia, China, Japan and other parts of the world."

I don't think so.

In Islamic banking, financiers are required to share borrowers' risks, meaning that depositors are treated more like shareholders, earning a portion of profits. Financing deals resemble lease-to-own arrangements, layaway plans, joint purchase and sale agreements, or partnerships.

The stampede into Islamic finance is mostly an effort to tap an estimated $1.5 trillion of funds sloshing around the Middle East, largely from higher oil prices.

Does Islamic banking fit the western bankers ideals. Share the borrowers risks? Profit sharing?
Depositors treated like shareholders?
Is it plausible that the bankster thieves at JP Morgan or Citigroup, Barclay's etc., would really go for banking done on these terms? Think about it!
Islamic finance also avoids other prohibited practices. Shariah-compliant bankers cannot receive or provide funds for anything involving alcohol, gambling, pornography, tobacco, weapons or pork.
After reading that and seeing the movie Inside Job, you can be sure as hell the Western banking model of usury, extreme and compounding usury has no interest in allowing Sharia compliant Islamic banking to get a foothold on the globe.

( A brief aside: Inside Job, does not address the big issues with banking, usury and private control, nonetheless it does a good, no a very good job, of explaining the scam and scandal of the mortgage backed investments, the taxpayer bailouts and the big bank profits/bonus's. You will be furious. )

They also envision wider appeal for Islamic banking's ban on interest, which stems from the Koran's prohibition against usury.

This is a view that has a long religious and historical tradition.

Interest is repeatedly condemned in the Bible. Aristotle denounced it, the Romans limited it, and the early Christian church prohibited it.

Western theologians eventually distinguished interest from usury...

And life has gone down hill for the average citizen every since. Oh and by western theologians they mean the theologians of Judaism and Christianity.

But, getting back to our calender dated uprisings. I guess the colour coded revolutions were getting tiresome.... Is it a coincidence that these so called spontaneous uprisings with cries for "western style democracy" just happen to be showing up in countries with growing Islamic banking systems????

I will say, I am not a coincidence theorist.

Raymond Davis: trial, TTP links to Times Square bomber, Israeli connections and more...

This post covers a lot of ground, but, is most definitely Part 2 of the previous days post, here.

In that post you were introduced to or refreshed your memory of the TTP and their western intelligence ties. Not limited to Raymond Davis, of course. And, not limited to the US.

First, I wanted to expand a bit on the topic of protests in Pakistan, protests that have sprung up because of the murders carried out by Raymond Davis.

I posted a picture in the previous post of a protest in Lahore.Take a look at it.
I now want to share an additional photo with you.

Ordinary looking people.

Yesterday I happened to catch a glimpse of a photo of a Tehrik e Taliban of Pakistan protester, a woman, head to toe in a burka, holding an English language sign calling for Davis's death. I cannot find that today, so I am hopeful you will take my word for it.
When I saw that photo, I noted the impact of the image and I wondered who was the intended audience?

Moving Along!

Does anyone recall the case of the Times Square bomber? I did a post on that story, way back. If you wish to click back feel free.

Why am I mentioning the Times Square bomber in relation to Raymond Davis and the TTP?
You might think it is unrelated, but, it is directly related.
The Times Square bombing was the first time that existence of the Tehrik i Taliban of Pakistan touched the western consciousness.
Pakistani militants, known as the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), have claimed responsibility for the abortive terrorist attack in Times Square earlier this month. The alleged conspirator, Faisal Shehzad, has reportedly admitted to attending training camps in Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) where the TTP have asserted control in recent years. Yet despite the obvious threat posed by the group to both Pakistan and the West, relatively little is known about them.

The TTP hangs out in the Tribal areas of Pakistan. You know the same "lawless" tribal areas that are always the excuse for US/NATO intervention??

Another interesting twist concerning the TTP and Davis?
The TTP has demanded that the Pakistani government either kill Davis or hand him over to them!

“We demand that the Pakistani government hang Raymond Davis or otherwise hand him over to us. We will decide his fate,” the Daily Times quoted TTP spokesman Azam Tariq, as saying.
Would they kill their bread and butter provider? No.
If the Pakistani government hands him over to the TTP, they will just deliver him back safely to their western paymasters.

As of today, Pakistan news is reporting that Raymond Davis will be tried for two murders.
Only after the courts determine if he has diplomatic immunity.

A Pakistani court adjourned on Friday the trial of a CIA contractor charged with killing two Pakistanis until March 3, dismissing U.S. demands for his release.

The contractor, Raymond Davis, shot dead two men in the eastern city of Lahore last month. He said he acted in self-defence and the United States says he has diplomatic immunity and should be repatriated.

The case has inflamed anti-American sentiment in Pakistan and is straining relations between the allies. Pakistani efforts against Islamist militants on its border with Afghanistan are seen as crucial to ending the war in neighbouring Afghanistan.

"He (Davis) said that he should be given immunity ... a discussion will be held on this at the next hearing," said Asad Manzoor Butt, a lawyer for the families of the two men Davis killed.

Davis, a former U.S. special forces officer, has been charged with double-murder and faces possible execution.

I am rather amazed that Pakistan has not not released him as of yet.

Getting a bit further.

Before I end this post today. I am going to link to an interesting article.
Is Israel running the TTP?
If they are not running the TTP, they are surely involved.
Because where the US is, Israel is. Or vice versa.
This article makes mention of the gamut of intelligence backed terrorist groups. Names you should know if you have been paying attention.. The PKK, TTP and of course Jundallah.
To name a few. You can throw in the KLA and of course Al Qaeda.
But, I digress so back to the article.

43 Pakistanis were killed in a terror attack, killed for supporting Palestinians in Gaza.
This attack was vicious and clearly the work of Israel. This was a terror attack meant as a message to the people of the world telling them that if they rally in support of those imprisoned in Gaza, they will be murdered.
This is far from the first time Israel has been caught. The PKK, the Kurdish terrorist group, communists, who have been attacking Turkey from their mountain “caves” in Iraq for over 40 years have long been trained, funded and even recruited by Israel’s Mossad. Now the partnership between India and Israel, helped along, not only by the CIA, the Karzai brothers “corporation” and MI -6 is becoming difficult to ignore.
Pakistan is important. For years, the “CIA” and other intelligence organizations have been in Baluchistan sneaking in and out of Iran blowing things up. How much of that is CIA and how much is Mossad, nobody knows for sure. This is another terrorist organization, called the “Jundallah.” Like the PKK in Turkey and the Tehrik-i-Taliban, the terrorist group making life in Pakistan a living hell, the Jundallah get all the money, weapons, training, transportation and maybe more, much more, they need to fight covert wars against the targets of Tel Aviv.

Make no mistake, Pakistan is a target of Tel Aviv.

Raymond Davis, key to nuclear false flag and all out global warfare?

Entirely possible!
Additionally linked to state-sponsored terror and false flag attacks in Pakistan...
Sorry to sound like a broken record, but, Raymond Davis?
What about Raymond Davis?
Lots! This is a much bigger story then I initially realized.
This is going to be a very lengthy, in depth post!
Get coffee, get tea, wine or whatever, pull up a chair and sit a spell....

You might have seen this bit of news yesterday?

Davis was giving nuclear bomb material to Al-Qaeda, says report

The most ominous point in this SVR report is "Pakistan's ISI stating that top-secret CIA documents found in Davis's possession point to his, and/or TF373, providing to al Qaeda terrorists "nuclear fissile material" and "biological agents", which they claim are to be used against the United States itself in order to ignite an all-out war in order to re-establish the West's hegemony over a Global economy that is warned is just months away from collapse," the paper added.

Edit here: T
he nuclear angle is suspect, with thanks to two commenter's, who gave me the heads-up. That said, the nuclear material was never what his post was about. You will have to read on to get the complete picture. End edit!

Did the Pakistani report mentioned say "Al Qaeda" or has this been westernized?
I have no doubt about the western hegemony, or the all out warfare to cover-up and/or reassert a global collapse. But, I do wonder about "Al Qaeda" reference?
Why, you ask?
Because Pakistan has trouble with terrorists, as you will read, but they aren't "Al Qaeda"
They go by another name and it is pretty clear that Raymond Davis was linked to that terrorist organization. One that is banned in Pakistan, for what should be obvious reasons.
But, if it is not obvious to you let me briefly explain.
This group is banned in Pakistan, because the terror they cause in Pakistan is directly linked to destabilizing Pakistan.

I am talking about the TTP. Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan. I have referenced them a number of times in previous posts. The TTP is linked to the Western Intelligence apparatus, the US, Britain and Israel.
You can read about them here-New war plans: US Plans to seize Pakistan nuclear arsenal

Pakistani head of state Asif Ali Zardari accused Washington of being behind Taliban attacks inside his country with the intent to use them so "the US could invade and seize its nuclear weapons."

Recall just this week the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) have just been arrested for plotting to kill the Pakistani Prime Minister..... as they killed his wife, Bhutto???

Or here- Pakistan thwarts TTP plot to kill Prime Minister

There may be more, but, these two posts will give you an idea of who the TTP is and who really backs them. That background will make it much easier for you to understand the connection between Raymond Davis and the TTP (Al qaeda for the western audience)

The "close ties" of 37-year-old Davis, with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan came out during investigations.

Call records retrieved from mobile phones found on Davis had allegedly established his links with 33 Pakistanis, including 27 militants from the banned Taliban and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

The report claimed Davis was "said to be working on a plan to give credence to the American notion that Pakistan's nuclear weapons are not safe."

"For this purpose, he was setting up a group of the Taliban which would do his bidding," it said
Another article-

"The Lahore killings were a blessing in disguise for our security agencies who suspected that Davis was masterminding terrorist activities in Lahore and other parts of Punjab," a senior official of Punjab Police was quoted as saying by the daily.

"His close ties with the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan were revealed during the investigations... Davis was instrumental in recruiting young people from Punjab for the Taliban to fuel the bloody insurgency," the official was quoted as saying

Recall, not long after the arrest of Raymond Davis there was an alleged suicide bomber dressed in school uniform? And what was his target? A Pakistan Army training Camp.

The bombing, which also wounded 40 soldiers, was one of the worst attacks on (Pakistani) security forces in recent months.

The more dead Pakistani soldiers the more difficult position Pakistan finds itself in, when the West inevitably comes to call, rather then continuing on in a covert fashion.

Pakistani's Protest the possible release of Raymond Davis- They clearly do not want him released.

You might ask, why do I think the West would want to attack Pakistan?
Because Obama, for one, said exactly that!
And he said it years ago-
Going back to a post I did in 2008. Yes, that is well over 2 years ago, Obama was quoted saying this-

Obama said if elected in November 2008 he would be willing to attack inside Pakistan with or without approval from the Pakistani government, a move that would likely cause anxiety in the already troubled region.

Obama willing to attack Pakistan, with or without approval from the government of Pakistan.
And so it goes....

Now let's get back to Raymond Davis, we have him linked to western backed "terrorists", who work really hard at destabilizing Pakistan, which is a goal of the US/western governments, that attack and bomb Pakistan as they see fit!

Since Raymond Davis's arrest there have been no further TTP backed suicide bombings.

Perhaps his arrest has put a little glitch in the wheel of western backed terrorism.
You will know when they (CIA) have regrouped because the bombings will begin afresh.
But I have digressed, just briefly, so back to Raymond Davis!
Excellent article here, I am going to excerpt-

There are clear indications that there is much more to the “Raymond Davis” affair than the Pakistanis are letting on. This isn’t about murder and diplomatic immunity. This is mush bigger. Something is very wrong with this picture, and Islamabad is tight lipped because it now has concrete evidence that Mr “Raymond Davis” is linked with the Tehrik e Taliban e Pakistan (TTP) and some of the terror activities that have been happening in Pakistan.

The Pakistanis are not stupid. Americans stick out like sore thumbs in Pakistan. When they go running around in their black SUVs laced with Satellite equipment they are tracked, traced and followed. In a cat and mouse game, the contractors can sometimes shake their “tails”. On other occasions they cannot. In fact the ISI gives them enough rope to hang themselves with. In this case, it seems Mr. Davis fell into a trap and his situation is now fully compromised. In panic Mr. “Davis” used the Nuclear option and killed the two Pakistanis who were trailing him–knowing full well that killing Pakistani spies or those who knew his identity would blow up in this face. He doesn’t have to say much–the equipment he carried tells a long and bloody story. All this is irrefutable evidence in a Pakistani court of law. The Pakistanis have already released the pictures of the equipment and the evidence that they have gathered. Of course they are still holding on to the juiciest details.

It is clear that Mr. “Davis” shot the Pakistani operatives knowing full well who they were. The Pakistani authorities have informed the the media that they are very well aware that Mr. Davis was in touch with the “Pakistani Taliban” (TTP). There is conjecture that Mr. “Davis” walked into a trap laid out by the ISI. In fact his contacts were actually ISI agents. All that he said and did is in the hands of the Pakistanis. Mr. “Davis” thought that by shooting the two operatives, he would eliminate the evidence against him. In fact, it made matters worse. Other operatives who were in the vicinity had already taken the necessary precautions. The ISI has leaked information to the media that Mr. “Davis” had crossed a “red line”.

Clearly, the Americans have panicked because the know that the Pakistani side knows much more than it is prepared to admit in public

It should be obvious after reading all that, there is much more going on here, then the arrest of one CIA-Xe/Blackwater hitman.
This man is linked to destabilizing Pakistan, suicide bombings, recruiting children and possibly an attempt to launch a false flag terror attack in the US, that would justify launching all out war!

As if the world doesn't have enough of that already.

US Fears for the Life of Outed CIA Contractor

Is the US telling us, all the options, all the ways, that Raymond Davis may be assassinated now that he has been made expendable by the US?
We shall see.

U.S. officials believe that Raymond A. Davis, the CIA contractor in Pakistani custody for shooting two men, is in serious danger - even from the guards at the prison where he is now being held.

According to the official, administration officials fear that the Pakistani government lacks sufficient control over Pakistani municipal police, who have Davis in custody.

And this is quite interesting. A fleeting glimpse of just one example of the endless cooperation between the media and the government. So much for freedom of the press!

ABC News was asked by the U.S. government to withhold publication of Davis's affiliation with the CIA, (asked or told?) citing fears that disclosure would jeopardize his safety.

After several foreign media organizations published parts of his background, the U.S. government rescinded its request to ABC News to embargo the information.

And then verified his CIA hitman status themselves

Providing even more additional information!

Davis fired multiple rounds from inside his car, killing one man in the street, while the second died later from his injuries.

Davis then called for help from several other CIA security officers who shared his Lahore safehouse, according to a U.S. official and the intelligence consultant. As they arrived near the intersection, they accidentally (not) hit a Pakistani motorcyclist. The motorcyclist later died of his injuries.

Davis' colleagues were unable to get to Davis before the police arrested him. They left the scene and returned to their safehouse. Within hours, they had destroyed all government documents at the safehouse, abandoned it, and retreated to the U.S. consulate for safety. Both have since returned to the U.S.

Some background on Davis-

Davis first arrived in Pakistan in December 2008, and was posted at various times in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar. Until last August, Davis was stationed in Pakistan as an employee of the company once known as Blackwater, now called Xe Services, and contracted to the CIA.

Davis made $780 per day working as a security guard for the agency's clandestine case officers.

In recent years the Pakistani media has asserted that Blackwater was responsible for numerous terrorist attacks in the restive western areas of the country

And they were correct!

So, is Davis going to be killed by guards, municipal police, or militants imprisoned along with him? All of these people could easily be co-opted or bought and paid for by other CIA agents, or agents from other nations(Britian or Israel) Wondering if the US has thousands of killers on the payroll, how many do Israel and Britian have?

US finally admits Raymond Davis is CIA

Which should come as no surprise to anyone who read this post from Feb.09, with follow up by HHQ, then further updated by AP.

It was quite obvious that claims being made by the US were suspect, completely suspect.

U.S. officials: Raymond Davis, accused in Pakistan shootings, worked for CIA

The American who fatally shot two men in Pakistan last month and who has been described publicly as a diplomat is a security contractor for the CIA who was part of a secret agency team operating out of a safe house in Lahore, U.S. officials said.

The contractor, Raymond A. Davis, 36, has been detained in a Pakistani jail since his arrest. He has said he opened fire on two Pakistani men at a traffic signal in Lahore after they attempted to rob him.

The disclosure compounds an already combustible stand-off between the United States and Pakistan at a time of growing distrust between them and complicates U.S. efforts to win Davis's release.

President Obama and other senior administration officials have repeatedly described Davis as a diplomat who was assigned to the U.S. consulate in Lahore.

But in fact Davis has spent much of the past two years working as part of a group of covert CIA operatives.

You may recall I did a post way back.....October 26/2010????

The CIA's covert 3,000 strong army crossborder raiding Pakistan.

Raymond Davis is just one of these killers.

Calls for "protest" in China? Just who made the call

After you get through here, be sure to check out the latest news on Haiti, despicable.
Posted below.

Anyway.... China and a curious bit of news, Calls for protest in China, protests that would mirror much of the mayhem in the Middle East?
I will highlight the really curious parts, share your thoughts.
Because, in my opinion this has western provocation written all over it.

Chinese authorities detained dozens of political activists after an anonymous online call for people to start a "Jasmine Revolution" in China by protesting in 13 cities.

Only a handful of people appeared to have responded to the call to protest in Beijing, Shanghai and 11 other cities at 2 p.m. Sunday, a call first posted on the U.S.-based Chinese-language news website.

Call originating from a US based Chinese language news website?

"The lackluster popular response, however, demonstrates how much harder it would be to organize a sustained protest movement"in a country with a well-funded and organized police force, and with the world's most sophisticated Internet censorship system.

Wondering who would want to "organize a sustained protest movement?

And some really interesting designated protests points.

"a McDonald's outlet in Beijing's central Wangfujing shopping district "

A McDonald's outlet? And this would appeal to what audience?
How about this one?
"police led away three people outside a Starbucks outlet"

A Starbucks!!!

There were no reports of demonstrations in other cities where people were urged to protest, which included Guangzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan and Chengdu.

So far we have a call from an American based Chinese language news site. Surely used to disseminate pro-western propaganda.
Then the use of known western multinationals corporations as the protest points.
And this!!!!???

The Wall Street Journal saw a crowd of several hundred people gather.
The crowd, however, consisted almost entirely of foreign journalists and curious shoppers—many of whom thought there was a celebrity in the area

How did the foreign journalists know to gather at the protest points? Who tipped them off ??

Even more curious....

Jon Huntsman, the U.S. ambassador to China—who has been critical of the country's Internet controls—was also in the crowd but quickly left after he was identified by a Chinese crowd member with whom he was chatting.

Besides the foreign journalists, the US ambassador to China was ready to go at the so called protest site, but, left after being identified???

Who called for this protest???

And finally-

The only sign of protest came from a young Chinese man who was detained by police after laying some jasmine flowers outside the McDonald's and trying to take a photograph of them on his mobile phone.

Haiti- Disaster Capitalism in its finest hour

With thanks to HHQ for sending this my way. Thanks!

It features, Sarah Palin, Billy Graham and Monsanto. An unlikely trio you would think?
But, you will get the connection when you read this- But, I will give you a hint.. The connection is green and not environmental.

A long read, but, well worth spending the time to do so! Excerpts below.

Our Government-Funded Mission to Make Haiti Christian: Your Tax Dollars, Billy Graham's Son, Monsanto and Sarah Palin

Overall, Haiti has become one of the greatest money laundering operations in history, an island engine turning public funds into private profits.

Disaster Capitalism-

What's more, U.S. taxpayer dollars are being funneled from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to Billy Graham's charities for use in Christian proselytizing—all while building Sarah Palin's 2012 campaign army.

"At that time, they (Haitians) were not open to the Gospel, and now they are," said "Festival of Hope" director Sherman Barnette, of the difference in Haiti before and after the earthquake. The festival was held on January 9, in Haiti's National Soccer Stadium. It was put on by Franklin Graham in cooperation with his Samaritan's Purse charity and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

A month before the event, Sarah Palin had appeared in Haiti beside Graham, urging followers to help "those less fortunate" by contributing to Samaritan's Purse. "It is still here doing the tough work," Palin said. She was gone less than 48 hours later.

Exactly what the tough work Palin spoke of depends on who you're talking about. It could be raising millions more dollars that Haitians will never see.
Or, in the case of Samaritan's Purse, whose Haiti work is being heavily funded by the taxpayer-funded USAID, it could be to “take back their country from voodoo, despair, and sin,"

So USAID is funding religious conversion?! And how does that help the Haitians?

" As Graham said of Haiti in his address at the Festival, "…the biggest need is the spiritual need."
I don't think so, but then, I am not doling out taxpayer dollars for this nonsense, all the while donations are poring in...

"Through our partnership, the three original churches have been able to establish 28 more—including one in a village that was infamous for voodoo…."

Somewhere around 10,000 NGOs now operate in Haiti, without any organization. Much of the money that was raised in the nation's name has not been spent. In some cases, it seems this is intentional.

The Disaster Accountability Project estimates that a year after nearly $11 billion was raised or pledged ("Text HAITI! to donate $10!), only half has been spent. In some cases, not even that. By November, Catholic Relief Charities had reported spending just 32 percent of the $192 million it raised for Haiti.

Many NGOs say the reason they are reluctant to spend more is that it may be wasted.

A report on U.S. contracts for reconstruction found that only $1.60 of every $100 awarded goes to Haitian firms, essentially meaning that the brunt of Haiti funding actually functions as stimulus for economies elsewhere. An audit by USAID’s Inspector General found that 70% of the cash awarded to the two largest U.S. contractors was spent on equipment and materials (bought outside of Haiti), meaning just 8,000 Haitians a day were hired instead of the promised 25,000 a day.

Unbelievable! Seriously. $1.60 of every $100 goes to Haitian firms?!

Bet, your wondering how does Monsanto figure into this sickening excuse for humanitarian aid?

Monsanto donated tons of corn and vegetable seed to Haitian farmers and has committed to donating hundreds of tons more in the coming months. But these seeds are hybrids, engineered not only so that they cannot naturally reproduce, but to assure Haitian farmers remain in hock to Monsanto in the future.

Pressed about why Monsanto didn't just provide open pollinating seed, a spokesperson said, "Open pollinated seeds would be a great option if they produced as much crop as a hybrid seed." That's like saying, nobody should bother driving a Honda Civic because it doesn't perform like a Maserati.

That's Monsanto lying through their teeth about the crop productions from their seeds.

It get's better!

But here's the best part. Monsanto added that it contacted NGOs in Haiti and that those organizations will "support farmers with recommendations and resources [including] helping farmers decide whether to use additional inputs (including fertilizer and herbicides)." Two of the NGOs Monsanto identified are the WINNER organization and World Vision, both heavily funded by USAID. This means your tax dollars will be used to purchase any "additional inputs" from Monsanto.

Once you get through the article, you will make the "green" connection.

Iranian warships in the Suez -False flag or oil price manipulations

A-13 had touched on this "he said, she said" news story.
You can read that early post, linked above.

Iranian Warships passing through the Suez Canal.
Are they? Aren't they?
I question when "unnamed officials" make claims that can't seem to be substantiated by anyone, anywhere....

What is the claim being made? .... Iran is alleged to be sending two warships through the Suez Canal.
It seems to me that the story originated in Israel.

This all seemed to hit the news a couple of days ago.
On February 16/2011, when Avigdor Lieberman made the claim that Iranian ships were coming through the Suez canal. He also noted that Israel would consider it a provocation and would have to respond.

Nowhere can I find that this was reported on by Iran, prior to Lieberman's pronouncement.
If anyone else knows of earlier reporting from Iran on this story, let me know?
There is a news story from Press Tv, that doesn't appear to have originated in Iran.
The story, you can find it here, appears on the Press TV website a full day later on February 17. It seems to be a regurgitation of the previous day's news.
All original or breaking news regarding these ships and their passage seem to be emanating from Israel.
With Haaretz reporting that Iran is insisting the ships are going through.
What they note as "insisting" is a report from Press TV.
I can only say this, if the report is the Press Tv article above, there is no "insisting" being done!

Egypt is saying there are no Iranian ships coming through the Suez.

Suez Canal Official Says No Iranian Warships Licensed to Pass

Egypt: No Iranian warships have passed through Suez
Iran has not requested to move any of its warships through the Suez Canal, an Egyptian official said Thursday.

"No Iranian warships sailed through the canal in the last two days and nothing is planned for the coming days either," said Ahmed El-Manakhly, the transit director of the Suez Canal Authority.

Iran has not moved a warship through the Suez Canal in 32 YEARS.

"It is 32 years since an Iranian warship last passed through the Suez Canal"

Iranian warships have not entered the Mediterranean through the canal since 1979

So, why all of a sudden would Iran feel the need to make this kind of move?
In my opinion, they haven't made any move!
There would be no reason for them to do so.
This is Israeli spin.
But why? Why is Israel spinning such a fantastic tale?
Could be readying us all for a false flag?
I won't discount that?
Recall previous naval false flags? The Maine and the Gulf Of Tonkin.

But, if not a false flag, were there other benefits to this tall Israeli tale.

The price of oil went up!

Bahrain: Blowback or Encouraged ?

Does the US support or oppose this uprising?
Is this blowback from the Egyptian operation.
Or are they simply treading carefully?

When I take a gander over at the NED website, I notice Bahrain is not mentioned?

Middle East & North Africa

But, that could mean something or nothing at all.
An aside, notice they are "promoting democracy" in Libya???

I notice the Bahrain Youth society was the group that released this video.
This site makes me go hmmmm....

Hilary Clinton is certainly putting out a different message regarding Bahrain then she did with Iran just the other day.

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton telephoned Bahrain's foreign minister, expressing her concerns over the demonstrations.

Expressing her concerns?

"We urge a return to a process that will result in real, meaningful changes for the people there," she added.

What did Hilary have to say about Iran???

The United States stands with Iranian opposition supporters who sought to protest on Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said, calling on Tehran to grant its citizens the same freedoms that were recently won by protests in Egypt.

“Let me, clearly and directly, support the aspirations of the people who are in the streets in Iran today,”

We wish the opposition and the brave people in the streets across cities in Iran the same opportunities that they saw their Egyptian counterparts seize.”
Bahrain, she contacts the foreign minister and expresses her concern. Urging a return to a process that will bring about meaningful changes.

Iran ,she stands with the opposition protesters and supports the aspirations of the protesters

Diametrically opposed messages.

Watching this video, the brutality of the army, suggests to me that the US had placed no restraint on this action

"Bahrain is home to the US Navy's Fifth Fleet and is a strategic ally on oil supply lines for the Gulf, so the turmoil presents Washington with a dilemma."

Destabilizing Italy: Why is Berlusconi on the hot seat ?

Let me state unequivocally, I think the guy is scum. So this piece is not to be taken in any way shape or form as a piece defending him or his pedophile tendencies.

That said, read on.

I think Berlusconi's usefulness to the West, is at an end. Just a gut feeling. The overthrow of the Tunisian leaders and the ensuing disruption is surely going to cause problems for Italy.

Original title of this article was: Italy Overwhelmed as Tunisian Immigrants Flee Turmoil
"It's no coincidence that the first boats full of migrants arrived at the tiny southern Italian island of Lampedusa just two days after a revolution overthrew Tunisia's strongman Zine el Abidine Ben Ali. That's about how long it takes for a rickety, overloaded ship to cross that stretch of the Mediterranean Sea."
As of the writing of this article the tiny island of Lampedusa had already seen 5,700 Tunisians fleeing the "revolution"

And, as the article states this is no coincidence, it has always been a place people from North Africa will flee too.

Because, Lampedusa's location
"has long made it a magnet for North Africans seeking a better life or a claim for political asylum. In 2008, a peak year for migration, some 31,000 illegal migrants reached Lampedusa"

As if Italy did not have enough trouble already? The sudden massive influx of fleeing humanity, would certainly exacerbate many of Italy's problems. But, not just from Tunisia.

As of today, it seems the proverbial shit is hitting the fan in Libya. Is this a problem for Italy?
Why, yes it is!

In 2008, a peak year for migration, some 31,000 illegal migrants reached Lampedusa, mostly from Libya, at a rate of roughly 600 a week — far slower that what has been seen in the past few days.

Recall I inquired about Libya the other day? Imagine my non-surprise to see this in the news today- Protests break out in Libya.
This should mean more people fleeing to the tiny island in Italy, this time the Libyan's!
Further destabilizing Italy. Did I say destabilizing Italy? Yes, because I think that is what is going on. Italy is being destabilized. Just like Egypt.

But why?
Of course, I can't be sure.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Silvio's friendship with Putin, of Russia is a factor.
What is the basis of this bond of friendship. between the two leaders?
The construction of South Stream Pipeline.

South stream pipeline is competition for the Nabucco pipeline
Actually is is a bit more then just competition. It buries Nabucco when it comes to capacity!

Yes, I am of the opinion, that we are witnessing another facet of pipeline politics!

These Pipelines will not merge at any point with one another, they are direct competitors.
Nabucco is backed by the US/EU. South stream is backed by Russia.
And.... Italian energy company Eni, is a 50/50 builder with Gazprom.

The venture (Nabucco) is competing with South Stream, a project headed by Gazprom and Italy’s Eni. Interconnector Turkey-Greece-Italy, or ITGI, led by Edison, Greek natural gas supplier Depa and Botas, is also vying for Caspian gas.

Therefore, Italy is involved with the construction of a competing pipeline that is not supported by the US. Nor is it supported by the EU. A pipeline that will aid Russia in delivering gas to Southern Europe.

Anyone seeing a problem in Italy's support of the Southstream Pipeline???

I mentioned capacity, what is the capacity of Southstream?

We can read a bit more here regarding the capacity of the South stream Pipeline here- Putin and Berlusconi seal ‘South Stream’ pipeline deal. I'll quote.

"Until now, Nabucco and the Russian 'South Stream' project's capacities were considered to be of identical capacity (30 billion cubic metres a year)"

However, the signing of the agreement between Gazprom and Italy's Eni, which will more than double the capacity of South Stream, from 31 billion cubic metres per year (bcm/y) to 63bcm.

Clearly this is one big pipeline. And, in a world where "size matters" the party with the smaller pipeline will surely feel inadequate.

With much thanks to R and Hubris. Who have both offered up additional information as to why Silvio is under the gun. Pipelines are not the sole problem!

Hubris pointed out, besides the friendship between Putin and Berlusconi, forged over the pipeline deal, Berlusconi is supportive of the arrest and jailing of Khordokovsky

Prodi also fumed at Berlusconi's support for the controversial [Ha!] arrest of the politically ambitious Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khordokovsky, an arrest that was denounced by other European leaders."

I have numerous posts here on Khordokovsky if you are unaware of this news.

Start here, continue on, then continue on.

R, left this comment-

"Berlusconi is against the EU Central Bank taking away our sovereign right to print our own money.Instead we now have to BUY our money from the EUCB. This causes what i called 'national debt'. The benificiaries of this rip-off are various royal houses. Qeen Sophia of Spain, Q.Beatrice of Netherlands, Draghi of Italy etc.

America's Strategic Repression of Arab Awakening- Hedging their bets

Being short on time today, I will point you over to an article written by Andrew Gavin Marshall.
America’s Strategic Repression of the ‘Arab Awakening’ This is Part 2.
Part 1 is here

Whet your whistle with this video

While the uprisings spreading across the Arab world have surprised many observers, the same could not be said for the American foreign policy and strategic establishment. A popular backlash against American-supported dictatorships and repressive regimes has been anticipated for a number of years, with arch-hawk geopolitical strategist Zbigniew Brzezinski articulating a broad conception of a ‘Global Political Awakening’ taking place, in which the masses of the world (predominantly the educated, exploited and impoverished youth of the ‘Third World’) have become acutely aware of their subjugation, inequality, exploitation and oppression. This ‘Awakening’ is largely driven by the revolution in information, technology and communication, including radio, television, but most especially the Internet and social media. Brzezinski had accurately identified this ‘Awakening’ as the greatest threat to elite interests regionally, but also internationally, with America sitting on top of the global hierarchy.

This spurred on the development of an American strategy in the Arab world, modeled on similar strategies pursued in recent decades in other parts of the world, in promoting “democratization,” by developing close contacts with ‘civil society’ organizations, opposition leaders, media sources, and student organizations.

(This was touched on by myself in this post. Aangirfan and Twelfth Bough have also covered this topic, their blogs are linked in the side bar)

The aim is not to promote an organic Arab democracy ‘of the people, and for the people,’ but rather to promote an evolutionary “democratization” in which the old despots of American strategic support are removed in favour of a neoliberal democratic system, in which the outward visible institutions of democracy are present (multi-party elections, private media, parliaments, constitutions, active civil society, etc); yet, the power-holders within that domestic political system remain subservient to U.S. economic and strategic interests, continuing to follow the dictates of the IMF and World Bank, supporting America’s military hegemony in the region, and “opening up” the Arab economies to be “integrated” into the world economy.

Thus, “democratization” becomes an incredibly valuable strategy for maintaining hegemony; a modern re-hash of “Let them eat cake!” Give the people the ‘image’ of democracy and establish and maintain a co-dependent relationship with the new elite. Thus, democracy for the people becomes an exercise in futility, where people’s ‘participation’ becomes about voting between rival factions of elites, who all ultimately follow the orders of Washington.

The Council on Foreign Relations Strategy to “Democratize” the Arab World

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the premier U.S. foreign policy think tank in the United States, and is one of the central institutions for socializing American elites from all major sectors of society (media, banking, academia, military, intelligence, diplomacy, corporations, NGOs, civil society, etc.), where they work together to construct a consensus on major issues related to American imperial interests around the world. As such, the CFR often sets the strategy for American policy, and wields enormous influence within policy circles, where key players often and almost always come from the rank and file of the CFR itself.

In 2005, the CFR published a Task Force Report on a new American strategy for the Arab world entitled, “In Support of Arab Democracy: Why and How.” The Task Force was co-chaired by Madeleine Albright and Vin Weber. Albright was the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations for the first term of President Bill Clinton’s administration, and was U.S. Secretary of State for his second term. As such, she played crucial roles in the lead up and responses to the dismantling of Yugoslavia and the Rwandan genocide and subsequent civil war and genocide in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and she also oversaw the UN imposed sanctions on Iraq. In a 1996 interview with 60 Minutes, when asked about the sanctions resulting in the deaths of over 500,000 Iraqi children under the age of five, Albright replied, “we think the price is worth it.”

With Madeleine Albright at the helm, you can be sure this will work out wonderfully for the people of the Arab nations (facetious)

The article is quite lengthy, I have only posted some excerpts.. please do read the rest.

Clinton: Time for Iran to 'open up' & follow Egypt

Is Hillary signaling the bought and paid for opposition to hit the streets and hit'em hard??!

"We wish the opposition and the brave people in the streets across cities in Iran the same opportunity that they saw their Egyptian counterparts seize in the last week," Clinton told reporters during a visit to the US Congress.

"We support the universal rights of the Iranian people. They deserve to have the same rights" as those demanded by protesters to helped oust Egypt's Hosni Mubarak "and that are part of their own birthright," she said.

And the funniest quote from Hilary-

"We are against violence and we would call to account the Iranian government that is once again using its security forces and resorting to violence to prevent the free expression of ideas from their own people," said Clinton."

"We are against violence"
Does this mean the US is against violence. The biggest warmonger in the world!
Who is this woman kidding? Does anyone believe one word that crosses her lips?

Egypt: no freedom, just martial law and a suspension of their constitution

How is that for freedom and democracy?

Egypt's military rejects swift transfer of power and suspends constitution
Ruling military council intends to retain power for six months or longer while elections are scheduled and will rule by decree

The Egyptian military has rejected the demands of pro-democracy protesters for a swift transfer of power to a civilian administration, saying it intends to rule by martial law until elections are held.

To which I will add, they will rule beyond elections, as they did under Mubarek!

The army's announcement, which included the suspending of the constitution, was a further rebuff to some pro-democracy activists after troops were sent to clear demonstrators from Cairo's Tahrir Square

In a sign that the army will only tolerate a limited (no) challenge to its power, it is expected to issue a communique on Monday saying that it will crack down on those creating "chaos and disorder" as well as effectively banning strikes.
If you have been reading here for the last little while, you may recall that back on Feb 02/11. I made this statement.

"The protests/protestors did not address the basis of their problems. They did not strike at the root. They will end up worse off then they are now."

I can assure you I'm not psychic, cause if I was.... I would have already picked the winning lottery numbers and been outta here! ;)
The information was out there it was accessible to anyone and besides, this game plan has been done before.

If I may direct your attention over to Europe's Crowned Bloodsuckers

Media Censorship regarding Egyptian Military Handover

Want to get this up, since it has already been disappeared......
The CBC website this morning had posted a news article with the title :
Egypt's Military Pledges Civilian Handover
The opening sentence was as follows-

" Egypt's military leaders say they are committed to eventually handing over power to an elected civilian administration that will abide by its international agreements."

And then the news article changed!

In case you doubt what I am typing here..
Click this and this, to see for yourself, how many other blogs, sites, news feeds etc., had picked this story up with this opening sentence:

1st version " Egypt's military leaders say they are committed to eventually handing over power to an elected civilian administration that will abide by its international agreements."

Why am I even bringing this up, you ask? Good question!

First let me show you what the sentence changed to.

2nd version: "Egypt's military leaders said they are committed to abiding by international agreements and eventually handing over power to an elected civilian administration."

This change of one sentence delivers a different message from the first article. It also presents an interesting problem.
So, we have to ask..???

Which sentence correctly reports on what action the Egyptian military will be undertaking?

The first sentence presents to the readers an Egyptian military in charge of a nation and dictating the policy of the nation!
The Egyptian army is stating clearly they will only cede power to an elected Egyptian civilian government 'that will abide by international agreements.'

Therefore if a government is elected, democratically by the Egyptian people, that does not want to abide by all international agreements, the military will NOT hand over power to the elected government.

The second, revised version merely states that the Egyptian army will abide by international agreements, "EVENTUALLY" handing power over to an elected civilian administration.

The use of the word 'eventually' is still a frightful indicator of future problems. As one would think that once their is an elected civilian administration the military will hand over power IMMEDIATELY. That said the second sentence is no where near as brutally honest as the first.

I am going to suggest, in light of the fact that the military is run by outside powers that the first sentence is the correct pronouncement made by the Egyptian military.

And, that the CBC, upon realizing it had leaked the true nature of the military takeover of Egypt moved quickly to censor truth from the public domain!

Egyptian Army announcement - A state of war

Missed this yesterday, but I think it is important.
Yesterday afternoon in Egypt, before Mubarek's appearance, the Egyptian army made an announcement on state television.

apologies, I removed the clip. The automatic start-up was getting annoying.
The clip should be available at the link below

State television interrupted all programming to show footage of a panel of military officers, one of whom read out a statement described as "communique number one" of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces

What the military announced at that time, was that IT (military) will remain in continuous or permanent session to protect the nation What is continuous/permanent session?
According to this article
It means WAR.

The military's Supreme Council, headed by Defense Minister Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, announced on state TV that it was in permanent session, a status that it takes only in times of war

And if you think this decision was made at the behest of Mubarek and Suleiman, you would be mistaken.

Footage on state TV showed Tantawi heading the council with his chief of state Gen. Sami Anan and around two dozen of his topmost generals, sitting stern-faced around a table. Mubarak and Vice President Omar Suleiman, a former army general and intelligence chief named to his post after the protests erupted Jan. 25, were not present.

Someone else is running the show in Egypt, and they are in control of the military.

Another article points this out right in their headline
Egypt army steps in, Mubarak apparently loses power
The dramatic announcement showed that the military was taking control after 17 days of protests demanding Mubarak’s immediate ouster spiraled out of control.
The military’s supreme council was meeting Thursday, without the commander in chief Mubarak, and announced on state TV its “support of the legitimate demands of the people.” A spokesman read a statement that the council was in permanent session to explore “what measures and arrangements could be made to safeguard the nation, its achievements and the ambitions of its great people.”The statement was labelled “communique number 1,” a phrasing that suggests a military coup.
Again, who is controlling the army. It is not Mubarek. It is not Suleiman.

Today, the Western media is spinning this move as a show of solidarity between the government and the army. It is nothing of the sort.

UPDATED: With thanks to Brian from Winter Patriot Community

Relevant to claims of US involvement in the uprising, that first came to my attention via Global Research. I covered this angle of the Egyptian protests in this post.

How is it that wikileaks never mentions Israel's involvement in this situation??
