Turkey, Syria and Israel: Mortar Shells and the Mavi Marmara

Updated: Turkey continues strikes on Syria. More news added!!

Getting back to Syria and more but first rehashing and flashbacking!
Then getting to the false flag being needed to create the buffer zone. Will this succeed?
I hope not.

Wednesday Sept 3/12,  5 Turks were killed by mortar fire, claimed by Turkey to have come from Syrian Army.  The problem with that scenario?  Turkey knew that was false.

Turkey knew it was not the Syrian Army that had fired the mortar. Turkey conspired with their NATO backed terror bunch the FSA, a group that Turkey has both birthed and nurtured, to create a false flag attack to justify upping the ante in the not so covert destabilization war on Syria. Turkey attacked Syria over two days, attacks that are continuing as we speak, today. Turkey returns fire after new shelling
The result of this false flag saw the Turkish government gain some fancy new powers to wage war.
There were some obvious give aways to the false flag. The story was full of holes.  The hollow claim, the  immediate manipulative move to involve NATO and the UN. The claim by Turkey that Syria had apologized, when they had not. Syria offered condolences and intended to investigate. From start to finish Turkey seemed to both create, control and end the narrative at their choosing.
Okay now I have laid down the basis. So what is the problem?

Recall the psyop the Mavi Marmara? How many Turks were killed on that ship? And how did Erdogan respond to those deaths? Let me remind you. NINE Turks were killed on that ship! NINE DEAD!

Families of Israeli raid victims file for compensation (watch for the kiss and makeup, if it happens.....expect all hell to break loose )

And how did Erdogan respond to those cold blooded murders? More or less with NOTHING. A bit of bluster and mostly a lot of  silence. Why?
Despite the theatrics, I have mentioned previously that Erdogan wanted these individuals dead and the Turkish government colluded with the Israelis to make those assassinations happen on the aid flotilla. It is the only plausible explanation for Erdogan’s lack of action.

The deaths of the nine Turks on the Mavi Marmara served one agenda for Erdogan. The deaths of the Turks by mortar fire from FSA brand NATO terrorists served another agenda. Hence the different responses from Turkey’s government. One commonality though Erdogan, like all governments, use and abuse the people, the citizens of their nations for all manner of political agendas.

Moving on! Some related reading:

Beware Turkey’s great game
An article in which the writer for the Telegraph mentions false flag potential, but instead using the “fog of war” which is nonsense. But then goes on to spin Erdogan as a heavy handed leader, drawing a connection between him and Morsi in Egypt. Don’t buy that for a minute. NATO loves both their Islamic servants in Egypt and Turkey. As does Israel. He mentions the fact that Syria didn’t apologize, Turkey just claimed they did. Controlling the narrative

LVB left a link from Debka.  Thanks LVB! Even in Israeli disinfo there is a grain of  truth

By the saturation bombardment of the 10-kilometer strip inside Syria, Turkey plans to drive the Syrian military presence out and enable the two rebel brigades to move in and start establishing a 50-kilometer long protected corridor from Aleppo up to the Killis region of southern Turkey.

I suspect this indeed is what the expanded war power is about.
I don’t believe this is being done without US/NATO knowledge
This false flag had a purpose and this may well have been it. To create the border/buffer zone

Supporting of DEBKA this news: Turkey is CLAIMING that Syria has agreed to a "buffer zone"
Why would they?
Turkey's news portal (ntv & msnbc combined = NATO news) claimed, citing “reliable sources,” that the Syrian regime had ordered all kinds of military aircraft, including warplanes and helicopters, to stay at least 10 kilometers from the Turkish border.

According to the Guardian, Syria has not confirmed the claim and Ankara has made no official announcement.

Political analysts said earlier that buffer zones would not be effective unless it was enforced militarily, something that Turkey has so far been unwilling to do. However, the Syrian shelling of the Turkish border town of Akcacle has sparked Ankara to re-calibrate its military options to deal with the gathering crisis across its southern border.
Turkey's claim citing "reliable sources" is nonsense. Turkey knows this. Hence  "no official claim" from the Erdogan government! What this is is narrative creation for the start of a campaign by Turkey,  of creating no fly zones, readying for a NATO attack. This is why the obvious false flag was undertaken.
This is why Turkey has moved armoured personnel carriers to the border

More on the false flag from an anonymous commenter

Earlier that day, as anonymous mentioned
Russia probably knew of the impending false flag.

Russia warns Turkey, Syria over tensions near border [03-10-12]

"Both Syrian and Turkish authorities “should exercise maximum restraint” since radical members of the Syrian opposition might deliberately provoke cross-border conflicts for their own benefits, Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said yesterday. The diplomat said Moscow has been worrying about the situation on the Syria-Turkey border."

I don't know if they (Russia)  knew, as in had foreknowledge, more likely they could see the direction this push to war was headed. Or they intercepted some communications.

Be sure to check out NYS's blog at thenakedfacts I spent some time there, but, can't keep up with all the great info being posted- Good job Ali!

BREAKING NEWS! Turkey continues to fire across the border Saturday, October 6, 2012, 10:46
Turkish soldiers on an armoured personnel carrier on the Turkish-Syrian border near the Akcakale border crossing.

The Turkish military returned fire after a mortar bomb shot from Syria landed in countryside in southern Turkey today, the state-run Anatolian news agency reported. (Turkey can claim whatever nonsense it wishes to claim now)

It was the latest in a series (therefore strikes on Syria are continuing) of Turkish retaliatory attacks in response to mortar bombs and shelling by Syrian forces that have killed five Turkish civilians further east along the border.

The strikes and counter-strikes have been the most serious cross-border violence seen so far in Syria's conflict, and underlined how it could destabilise the region.
For the 4th day in  a row Turkey strikes at Syria-

"It was the fourth day of Turkish strikes in retaliation for mortar bombs and shelling by Syrian forces that killed 5 Turkish citizens further east on Wednesday."

At 31 seconds the Reuters monotone talking head claims mortars have been falling into Turkey for a month now, since rebels seized the Syrian side of the border from government forces.

Of course Turkey is still claiming "they do no want war". I am quite sure the people do not, the government however.......
What Turkey's PM is actually saying and I will quote him

"“We are not interested in war, but we’re not far from it either,” Erdogan said in his speech."

Clearly Erdogan has not been hampered.

  1. "Syria Times", electronic newspaper in English to be launched Saturday
DAMASCUS– Al- Wahda Foundation for Press, Printing, Publishing and Distribution set the date to inaugurate its electronic newspaper in English "Syria Times" on Saturday which coincides with marking the 39th anniversary of Tishreen (October) Liberation War.

In a press statement, Director General of al-Wahda Foundation Khalaf al-Meftah highlighted the importance of re-launching the electronic newspaper.

In turn, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, Dr. Mohammad Abdo al-Ibrahim said that the editing policy will depend on transparency and direct coverage of news, in addition to publishing reports, analyses and daily opinions regarding local, regional and international affairs.

He added that the newspaper will tackle different issues related to society, culture, art, economy, politics, national reconciliation, dialogue, environment, tourism, health, sports and the Arab and international press.

He added there will be certain articles about Syrian communities abroad as well as various articles that give the reader an opportunity to share his/ her opinion.

The launching of the electronic newspaper follows the suspension of its paper version in 2008 after signing a cooperation program between the Ministry of Information, the Planning and International Cooperation Commission and the UN Development Program (UNDP).

  2. mother agnes in Australia:

THE mother superior of a 1500-year-old monastery in Syria warned yesterday during a visit to Australia that the uprising against Bashar al-Assad has been hijacked by foreign Islamist mercenaries, with strong support from Western countries.

Mother Agnes-Mariam de la Croix was forced to flee to neighbouring Lebanon in June when she was warned of a plot to abduct her, after she revealed that about 80,000 Christians had been "cleared" by rebel forces from their homes in Homs province.

She described on the website of the Greek-Melkite Catholic monastery of St James, the church she rebuilt 18 years ago after discovering it in ruins, how Islamist rebels had gathered Christian and Alawi hostages in a building in Khalidiya in Homs. Then they blew it up with dynamite and attributed the act to the regular army.

  3. Syrian Truth l SANA l Yurt Newspaper: Erdogan's government Handed over the Mortars to armed groups in Syria which shelled Akcakale Town

    Oct 06, 2012
ANKARA, (SANA)-Turkish Yurt Newspaper said that the government of the Development and Justice Party has to take a neutral stance on the events in Syria instead of supporting the groups of the so-called the armed opposition.

"Turkey was inevitably affected by the events in Syria… so it was very necessary for it to adopt new polices and be aware that instigating others will bring nothing but more damages.. The Turkish government was wrong at seeing the whole region through a sectarian vision," Journalist Ali Sirmen wrote in an article published by the Newspaper.

He added that the Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan was carrying out the policies of the US in Syria and the region, bearing the political and martial burden of this policy .

The Newspaper also revealed that the bomber which was used to launch the mortar on the Turkish Akcakale town is only used by NATO.

n an article by its Editor-in-Chief Merdan Yanardag, Yurt clarified that it had information from a reliable source saying that Turkey was the side which sent the mortars to the members of so-called ''the free army".

"Those information affirm that the Government of Erdogan's wrong policy was behind the falling of the mortar in the town that claimed the lives of 5 Turks." Yanaradag added.

  6. ty for comments but hope your all reading too?

  7. RT today reported that Syria "apologized" for the mortar assault, implying Syria was guilty. The reporter did later bring up the possibility of a "false flag," but this was after reporting the apology and the warning from Turkey that war is imminent if Syria doesn't behave. [RT is a perp organization--like Al Jazeera--it is more honest now that it is sucking people in but it will increasingly lie when called to do so.]

Here's what I wrote earlier about how Syria should respond if it cares about defending itself:

Turkey is claiming the right to enter Syria's territory with its military? Really?

If Assad backs down and allows Turkey's military to enter Syrian territory without firing a shot he has certainly lost. He would also be a fool if he agrees to any buffer zone.

But I don't know if I trust reports about what orders the pilots are getting in Syria. Very easily could be propaganda.

This is what I imagine aggressive Syrian strategists are advising:

Syria should finally retaliate against one of the wrongdoers. Turkey makes the easiest target and its offenses are particularly wrong.

Syria should attack Turkey with all its has and try to occupy it. Go on the total offensive. Send all available planes on sortie after sortie into Turkey until they are all gone (they're going to be gone anyway once the war starts, right?). Send all available tanks and attack troops into Turkey. Knock out all the dams on the Tigris and Euphrates. Destabilize the border with Greece. Maybe Syria would have the advantage because of the recent fighting and maybe Turkey is really not prepared for a full scale invasion.

This would bring the war to the aggressors. NATO would be forced to retaliate largely within Turkey. Turkey may bear more of the damage than Syria.

They could also [imaging the aggressive Syrian adviser here], move a smaller group of forces into Lebanon and hunker down for the final war and then the following resistance.

Iran would probably be brought in along with Israel.

I would imagine it would then be full scale war pretty quickly and Syria and Iran would have to blow their wads and then go into resistance fighting and sabotage, etc.

    1. as for this scenario
      War strategy and all
I just can't entertain the horror of where this is heading.

    2. Do you remember this story from some months ago re Syria and Turkey?

Turkey, which is among the five European nations hosting the US's B-61 gravity bombs and which has not directly or publicly questioned the continued need for their deployment at İncirlik in southern Turkey, will be obliged to make a decision over whether it wants those atomic bombs to be withdrawn from its soil or it wants them to remain. Turkey, at the moment, is among the few European countries that want the continued presence of these weapons on their soil.

    3. Israel preparing for the next lebanon war here

"Northern Command intelligence says certain areas of the border between Lebanon and Syria are "lawless zones," which enable the transfer of more advanced weapons into the region. The IDF has stated that there are some 60 thousand missiles in Lebanon, ten times more than there were in the country during the first Lebanon war. Hezbollah has the capability to launch a large quantity of rockets in a short period time, and this could cause significant damage on the Home Front.

In IDF simulations of what a third Lebanon war would look like, ground maneuvers in villages that are considered bastions of Shiite Hezbollah become particularly important. "The next war will be different, and therefore we should stop it as quickly as possible, in order to make things easier for the home front. This means carrying out a very strong attack against Lebanon, and the damage will be enormous," says a senior officer in the Northern Command. "

of course there was that surprise drill in the north

Russia currently engaged in Eurasia drill for incoming cruise missiles..

    4. On the drone into Israel:

Press TV reporting: "“[The drone must have come] from an American aircraft carrier or from [air force and military bases in] Saudi Arabia, also American bases. That’s the only possibility so far until we know after investigation,” said retired Lebanese major general Hisham Jaber in an interview with Press TV on Saturday.

Recall that a few months ago US per NYT claimed Israel was greatest middle eastern threat?

You think Obama is not concerned about a Carter esque October surprise? Especially when Haaretz is blaring headlines like "Israeli attack on Iran this fall is no longer in the cards"

  8. To go into the blog meta world a bit if I may . . .

Ever get the sense that the internet is controlled and that when it's unusually quiet maybe perps are scrubbing comments from the internet?

Well, here's proof that's happening on a place I go to for information, reddit/r/conspiracy! (although I was always leery of it)

Also notice some of the comments that are being censored!

    1. Hi WWM
I went to look, but, no nothing of reddit?
What I can tell you re: comment censorship?
I have seen it happen here, and it was not me, it was not the commenting individual or individuals that I know of.
      Or maybe it was?
The only comments I will delete here are spam, which I get regular and personal attacks on myself or others here

But way back when I started this blog there was an Israeli outfit of poseurs as Muslim, a private detective showed up and well it got messy

One day, I went back to look at it and noticed many of the comments were completely gone as if they had never been made
But, I had saved many of them, so I knew they had been made
To this day, I am unsure of just who cleaned the blog, but, it was not me
I lean towards it having been google. Because the comments were completely gone. As if they had never ever been there

  9. Heads UP! Israel is claiming to have shot down and enemy drone linked to Lebanon and drum roll please..... Iran!

Beware,, it seems to be the season of the false flag

    link to video

" Israel scrambled fighter jets to intercept a drone Saturday that crossed deep into Israeli airspace from the Mediterranean Sea, shooting the aircraft down over the country's southern desert, the military said.

The incident marked the first time in at least six years that a hostile aircraft has penetrated Israel's airspace, and Israeli officials said they were taking the incident seriously, raising the possibility of retaliatory action."

Off the top of my head, no way!
I suspect Israel is trying to drum up domestic support for the war agenda

It was not immediately clear who launched the drone, but suspicion quickly fell on the Lebanese Islamic militant group Hezbollah. The Iranian-backed group is known to have sent drones into Israeli airspace on several previous occasions.

Unmanned aircraft shot down by F-16 jets in south Israel was apparently launched from Lebanon by Hezbollah, or perhaps even by the Iranians themselves

A few hours after two fighter jets shot down a small unmanned aircraft that penetrated Israeli airspace in the south Saturday morning, it is safe to say that an element operating in Lebanon under the auspices of Iran and with its support, apparently Hezbollah, activated the drone. The drone itself, which was downed in the south Mount Hebron area, was apparently made in Iran.

Operating a drone by remote control from such a long distance requires advanced capabilities, which Israel was not aware Hezbollah had acquired.

    1. Israel only a day or two ago was stirring things up in France saying that the mortar attack on Turkey was an attack on NATO.

  10. Turkish people say NO TO WAR...lets see how 'democratic' Turkey really is!
In a rally which was called 'NO TO WAR', Thousands of Turks in Ankara and Istanbul have demonstrated against Erdogan Government's Policies, which is increasing tension in the region and thus threatening security in implementation of western agendas that do not serve the interests of the Turkish people."
In Istanbul city, thousands crowded in the main Taksim Square in response to calls by a number of left-wing parties raising a large banner with "No to War" written on it, accusing Erdogan government of exploiting the accident on borders with Syria to mobilize the public opinion to support its anti-peace policies.
The protestors chanted slogans condemning the US and its support to terrorism in the region, stressing that the AKP is dragging Turkey into an imperialist war by proxy under Washington's instruction.
In Ankara, hundreds of citizens gathered in front of the Parliament building denouncing the current government's subjugation to the western policies and being a tool in the aggression on the peoples of the region in contradiction with the Turkish interests.
The Turkish citizens stressed their keenness on preserving best relations with the Syrian people, reiterating rejection of turning their country into a base for terrorists who commit murder acts in Syria.
Amid the chanting, members of the Turkish police tried to separate the protestors by force through beating them and firing tear gas at them.
Deputy Leader of the Republican People's Party, Muharrem Ince, said Erdogn's government has shown no reaction or moved a finger when Israel killed 9 Turkish citizens on board the Gaza-bound Mavi Marmara ship. "Our stance is clear. We don't want war against anyone and we don't want to be a tool in the hands of anyone," he stressed.

  11. All those crazy Israeli teenager kids better be careful flying their super awesome drone toys around or those "Top Gun" egomaniac IDF F-16 I pilots will be blowing them to hell and maybe raining down some fiery debris from hell down upon their heads and "terrorist" asses LOL!!!

  12. this is amazing! the brutal if wealthy arab dictatorships try to buy Russia off....

Information received stated that the Gulf Countries have offered Moscow $25 Billion dollars to cease all support to the Assad Government and to abandon President Al-Assad. Journalist For Syrian Opinion on the 07/10/2012 said that Gulf Countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and UAE were prepared to raise the $25 Billion Dollars to be handed to Russia in return for it to stop backing President Al-Assad ..

President Putin answered with he did NOT want to take the money and that Russia is a Great Power and found the offer of the $25 Billion dollars Insulting, adding that Russia is behind Syria with strong solidarity ...

  13. Well, I tried to warn recently about these illegal "back-channel negotiations carrot/stick Bribery and extortion methods, ala Mr. Kissinger, the king demon of all duplicituous and deliberately false "diplomacy" - always "negotiated" so as to benefit only the gloriously wealthy and powerful globalist ruling elitem his ilk - and never anything that benefits and of US - the regular, good and decent, hard working and peaceful people of this entire world who want only fair shot at happiness, love, food, survival and to give a better future world to the children of the future.

I praise Mr. Putin for his strong stance behind Syria and Iran, and I hope that he will continue to resist the onslaught and sick overtures from the Empire US/NATO/CIA/UN/EU, because their attacks, both small and large will continue.

Be prepared, Boris, and спасибо for all your courage to do what is right for your own people, and for the rest of us in this world who are becoming less and less valuable to those who claim and pretend to be OUR true leaders - but of course this is a LIE.
