Skimming headlines for the "facts" on Fukushima

First off, thanks to my hubby for catching these two interesting articles!

Throwing this up quick, because it is a perfect demonstration of the manipulation via the mainstream media.

Two different articles, two different web address's, with the exact same headline. Why?
Other then reinforcing a lie?

Also take a gander at the information within the article.
It is a good thing our spin doctor authors are aware that most people skim headlines.

Japan radiation release lower than Chernobyl

"The fact that radiation releases are approaching the level they did in Chernobyl is a cause for concern, a sign of the severity of the accident that's already taken place," said Lyman, especially given the way Chernobyl exploded.

When was this statement made by Lyman? Today? Two days ago? Three days ago?
Who knows?

Then this!

Japan radiation release lower than Chernobyl

The release of two types of radioactive particles in the first 3-4 days of Japan's nuclear crisis is estimated to have reached 20-50 percent of the amounts from Chernobyl in 10 days, an Austrian expert said Wednesday.

Read this paragraph. In the first 3-4 days of Fukushima's meltdown, it reached 20-50 percent of the amounts emitted by Chernobyl in 10 days.

Using 35 percent as the medium number in just 9 to 10 days Fukushima has equalled Chernobyl's emissions.

Therefore, in the 13 days of Fukushima's "leaking" it has surpassed Chernobyl.

Thoughts anyone?

  1. my thought is that the USA (as well as the rest of the world) ought to shut down their reactors while they're still able to do so.
    On second thought, we're fucked.

  2. On Feb 18 Angela Merkel votes against israeli settlments in the Security Council.

On Feb 25th it is reported that Merkel has testy phone call with Netanyahoo

On Mar 15th Merkel closes 7 older nuclear reactors and orders safety inspections on all the others

On Mar16th Merkel narrowly escapes death

    See Aangirfan

  3. Hey Joe!

no I won't get all Jimi Hendrix on ya.;)

Shutting down the reactors would at least be a good start.

    "On second thought, we're fucked"

I can't believe that. or I would be wasting all my free time here.

I am still thinking that the human spirit and psyche, along with the bodies, will get their shit together and take a stand against the psychopaths in charge.

That is what it will take.

  4. thanks james I left a comment over at aangirfan's
