Push to Veto Palestinian State

"When we come back here next year, we can have an agreement that will lead to a new member of the United Nations — an independent sovereign state of Palestine, living in peace with Israel," President Barack Obama told world leaders on the floor of the 2010 United Nations General Assembly. But two years later, on the same floor, among the same nations, there is a different US position in regards to Palestinian statehood."

Barf bags ready?

  1. Hi Pen, what i have noticed, especially today while reading the aussie media is that people are becomming more aware and pro active in the pro palestinian outcome..in the comments sections of some ABC and SMH opinion peices which allow comments, many of the commenters are fed up and are aware of the influence that israel has over the US, Australia and many other nations which effect policy and opinion, and are calling "the zionists " out. Even 12 months ago, this POV would have been in the minority, but since the flotilla disgrace, have awoken to the reality of what israel is and the plight of the palestinian people.
    Cheers A13

  2. Hey A13- nice to see you out and about.

And yes I notice the increased awareness the people are having for the Palestinian issue.

There were polls taken in Canada and the majority supported the Palestinian state.

    But not the lackey PM
