Let's see.... connecting the dots
Pharmaceutical experimentation without consent-
MkUltra-with it's roots in the second world war and Operation paperclip. The CIA
The LSD experimentation in the '60's? Way before that.
The birth of the so called Hippie Culture? The Laurel Canyon Scene predating Haight- Ashbury
Timothy Leary-Tune In, Turn on, Drop out.
Roll all that into this very interesting little documentary
Another Malaysia mystery

Hi Penny for your thoughts,
ReplyDeleteAlas, I have become supremely cynical. Throughout the whole documentary I felt "managed". Yep, perception managed.Slick, slick, slick stuff there. Obviously a lot of good info but so much left out. Nuthin' 'bout "big Pharma'. Huh? Wha? Today, experimentation on a much wider range of the population is rampant. These stories in this documentary pale in comparison to what is happening today. So thus my cynicism. Thanks for this, a nice puzzle piece of the history though.
I know exactly what you mean Peter
Deleteabout the perception management- a very superficial accounting without much behind the scenes goings on
Yet still there was enough information that you and I could make the connections to all these other historical goings on--
Makes the LSD craze of the '60's look even more like one giant experiment on society at large- taking the steam out of the anti-war movement

DeleteYep, this just confirms what Dave McGowan and Jan Irvin have been saying all along. Nice to get this confirmation from a separate source, giving the theory all the more credibility. (Not that you nor I needed the confirmation),
