Ceasefire Aleppo?- SAA advances in Aleppo: Eid Al Adha /September 11th

This ceasefire was referred to yesterday. Turkey Moving Forward with Refugee Return & Electricity Provision to Syria: A Question That Begs Asking!

In advance of that soon to be implemented ceasefire??? Right before an upcoming holiday????

The Latest: WSJ

Keeping in mind Syrian Army has been advancing or gaining in Aleppo

Syria's army and its allies have reportedly regained control over the whole Ramousah district of Aleppo, potentially reversing nearly all the gains rebels had made there last month to break a government siege.
Syrian Army, Militias Unblock Southern Entrance to Aleppo City

ALEPPO (Sputnik) – The Syrian army and militias retook control over the Aleppo’s Ramuse region and secured unblocked southern entrance to the city, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported Friday.
Ramuse was fully cleared of terrorists on Friday morning. The Syrian army is currently allowing a limited number of vehicles.
Considering SAA gains, the US is likely desperate for this ceasefire- We have a holiday coming up on September 11, in just two days. Eid al-Adha on September 11.

There is a vibe of impatience coming out of the US/NATO backed media..
GENEVA—Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are pressing ahead with talks on a nationwide cease-fire agreement in Syria that would include closer military cooperation against terrorist groups.

Officials traveling with Mr. Kerry played down expectations for the latest round of discussions aimed at curtailing violence in the more than five-year-long civil war that is estimated to have killed more than 400,000 people. The meeting follows talks earlier this week in China and last month in Geneva.
So the US won't separate their terrorists, one from the other?
“We can’t guarantee in any way at this point that we are on the cusp of finishing,” a senior official traveling with Mr. Kerry said. The official said the remaining gaps are highly technical, though the U.S. delegation wouldn’t be in Geneva if officials didn’t think there was a chance for a deal or at least progress.
The U.S. wants to make sure that any arrangement guarantees Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will stop bombing his people (absurd) and allows for humanitarian access.(humanitarian concerns are of course false)
Russia, for its part, has said it wants to make sure that the U.S. separates terrorist groups from opposition fighters in cities like Aleppo, where regime forces and the Syrian opposition have engaged in intensified clashes in recent months. The U.S. said it wouldn’t agree to anything that allowed for a siege of Aleppo, once Syria’s largest city before the war, to continue.
As I've stated the US will not separate their terrorists.. because this will allow Syria to take back it's city from the terror crowd, including sunni muslim kurds.

There was a post here way back in January of this year regarding the importance of Aleppo.

January 16/2016 Syrian Endgame Could Begin in Aleppo- Who Would Block This Pivotal Win?

The question is still pertinent- who would block this pivotal win?

WSJ: We need to see a situation where it’s clear within whatever is being agreed with the Russians that there won’t be a siege of Aleppo,” a second senior official traveling with Mr. Kerry said.

The officials said the talks could continue beyond Friday but wouldn’t go on indefinitely.

“If we conclude that it’s just a waste of time and that—and it’s being dragged on for no other purpose than to gain time—then there will be no purpose in us continuing,” the second official said.
Is an ultimatum being delivered?

Syrian warplanes dropped leaflets over the rebel-held areas in the northern city of Aleppo Friday, giving rebels 48 hours to surrender, pan-Arab al-Mayadeen TV reported.

The anniversary of September 11 is upon us- Coupled with Eid al-Adha
The ceasefire fails- Syrian Arab Army advances-
This could get uglier...

  1. This AP article on Syria is so loaded with kurd factions it's hard for someone who KNOWS there are several to keep up with !!

Penny.. you can have fun with this one while proving your point that it's all Obfuscation (or however you spell that word I can not say worth a damn )

kurds kurds and more kurds It's a kurd fest
and the ammo is only to be used against daesh ;))

    1. kurds, kurds and more kurds??
I thought we were supposed to believe they were a unified bunch? NOT!

" An Iranian Kurdish rebel group received military training in weapons and explosives from U.S. and European advisers as part of the international program backing Kurds in the war against the Islamic State group in Iraq, the group's commander told The Associated Press.

The group, called the Kurdistan Freedom Party, is one of several Iranian Kurdish factions that have carried out attacks this year inside Iran"

KurdIShIS.. over and over and over..
after all the years of derision finally vindication :)

  2. In Aleppo there are USA soldiers that will be hard to explain if the siege of the city isn't breached. That is why the US rush for a cease fire. So far, their standing orders are to stay put until a way to get them out without anyone noticing will be achieved. A similar episode happened two years ago in Ukraine, when an ukrainian offensive bogged down and some soldiers were extracted after negotiations, while other were left there. Rumor milled that those extracted were contractors, those left were ukrainians.

    1. oh, that explains the US impatience that is clear in the reporting- I've updated with the news that Syria has leafleted the area- rebels have 48 hours to vacate the area- perhaps the American soldiers can get out with the rest of their terror pals or not?!

  3. So NATO tells Turkey no to a no fly zone, because it would require a UN resolution but NATO chased SAA out of Hasakah
    double standards abound- wow

Turkey insists on no-fly zone in Syria, NATO non-committal

fits right in with my nearly two year old theory of NATO betraying Turkey, no?

  4. I agree with the assertion that there are US mercenaries and operatives in Aleppo... The US is indeed stuck in a quagmire with their own forces now pinned down, and the criminal US government is now begging for a ceasefire to allow these forces to be extradited...

The battle for Aleppo may soon be over, and the US/Israel/NATO criminal cabal receiving a black eye... I hope that the Russians and the Syrians are not foolish to once again accept any "ceasefire" what so ever...
